How should I redo my room?

I agree, it's time for your room to be that of a young woman rather than a girl.

With red maple furniture, I'd hesitate to have the pink I love be the wall color. Red maple is a rich orange-ish brown which isn't a great coordinate.

I'm also not a fan of the white bedspread, because of reality: it won't be white for long, even if you're pretty careful with it. Someone will put their shoes on it, or their dirty backpack, or touch it with greasy fingers, like that.

I did a fast search for "bedroom decor pink blue green" and got some great rooms to show you. Most use either blue or green as the main color with pops of raspberry or brighter pink, and I think they look great. Check 'em out:

I really like the one that's light blue with the lime green and pink accents.

How often should I redo my bedroom?

I first repainted and got new bedding for my room in August of 2007, which was my first year in middle school. I am now a freshman and want to repaint and get new bedding. Is it too soon considering the cost of paint and bedspread?

Hi, it's great that you have an idea of your style and that's a good place to start. I'm guessing a little neon and cute-but-edgy things would be good for your room?

Here are my ideas for you!

1) First up, I would go over your room with stark white paint and if you're up for it, do one wall black. It makes a good base for some fun accessories.

2) A pinboard (or inspiration board) like this one (http://pinterest.com/pin/183099541069867773/) would be cool to keep pictures or posters or whatever and is pretty easy to make yourself by covering a cork board with fabric or paint.

3) Go with a graphic print curtain (check out urban outfitters - they have black&white chevron print and some others)

4) For a bedspread I would go with this one from IKEA: -It's reversible so you can decide if you want more black or more white. PLUS it will look amazing with coloured throw pillows on it (like hot pink and yellow would look great) (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60225445)

5) Accessorise! Put some cool pictures into cheap white ikea frames, get some coloured pillows, and a coloured lamp (you can spraypaint the base of an old lamp if you use primer - like a bright yellow would look cool).

How much money should I spend redoing my room?

I want to redo my room, and whats the usual price people should spend redoing their room? I want new bed sheets, paint my wall white, get a desk on like craigs list, and get some other decorative stuff from urban outfitters.

i don't have any money now, but i think i want to do this around christmas time. my grandma gives me 100 dollars, i could have a garage sale for the old stuff in my room, then have my dad help me out with the money, etc?

Ok to start off am a 14 year old GIRL going into high school . I only get one chance to redo my room so I want to do it right. I already have my colors which are white and black. I really want the theme to be London/Paris/Fashion Icons kind of theme going on. Please anyone help.

Choose a theme. Pick out a few colors you like, maybe you want a rockstar feel or maybe an artsy feel. I dont know.

Your gerbil could have a little table where its cage goes.

You can ask friends to come over, y'all can buy some paint and do graffiti on the walls.

Have a smoothie bar!!! Ask your dad if you could get a big counter, get a cheap $15 smoothie maker and a few stools.

Try having fun with your closet!!! Sort the clothes, make outfits you know you'd wear.

You could have a TV, maybe a couple of bean bags... Jukebox's are retro and cool....

I suggest a bunk bed. They are very cool, and they are great for sleepovers. I've always wanted one. Target has cheap $250 ones that are cool.

A desk... Check Office Max or Office Depot. I'd buy like 20 pink erasers and create cool little dudes out of them for a little unique and personal touch.

How do you redo your room in Gushers redo your room im really confused because the catalog was empty?

OK, I'm not too sure this was it but i had that same problem when i first went on here and i found out it was because the computer gets confused (don't ask me how!) and can't load it. Now i have a better and faster computer (laptop) and it works fine on it.
So it could just be the computer.
