Should I Trust 9gag About Important Life Decisions

Should i trust 9gag about important life decisions?

I think you should be there for her and let her make the decision, but keep the baby if you can handle it because children are precious and are a gift to your world.

Thanks for the A2A.As others have mentioned, you can start by blocking the websites that distract you. But nothing can ever replace discipline. Discipline comes from using one's willpower to avoid those distractions. You could also turn off your Internet so you don't get distracted. But that won't do you much good in maintaining discipline when you have to use the Internet. In that case, you have to think to yourself that you cannot do so-and-so. As Iris Lin wrote, you have to ask yourself what are you gaining from visiting those websites. The best way to counter a phobia is to expose yourself to it and change your attitude towards it. It is the same for addictions. When you see it, you have to consciously make the decision to press that little X on the tab. The more you make such decisions, the easier it gets. You can even try it now, open Facebook, glance at the page and close the tab. The main thing is to induce conscious thought to counter more unconscious desires. It is only when we think do we realise.

Yes, euthanasia should be legal.Futuristic technological breakthroughs aside, death is part of life and it is valid to want to manage it in order to achieve an outcome that is overall better or more merciful. (In fact, the etymology of the term euthanasia is, "good death.")When a person makes this decision unto himself, or clearly makes his wishes known and deputizes another person to act on his behalf, it is considered voluntary euthanasia. The right to life implies the right to choose how and when to end it. Out of respect of individual rights, this clearly should be legal. The only remaining issues--and they aren't trivial, but nor are they problematic--are coming up with appropriate medical and legal guidelines to ensure that the person has/had the mental capacity to understand what they are/were agreeing to, and so on.Your scenario deals with nonvoluntary euthanasia. Here there are more factors to consider, but it too should be legal. You only provided a few details (and "90% dead" is too vague), so let's stipulate that 1) the patient did not clearly express his wishes about what should be done in such a situation, and 2) either the patient is under 21 or the deciding agents have obtained legal guardianship through the courts. The medical issues are going to be establishing that the patient's quality of life is minimal or worse, his condition is irreversible, and he is not expected to regain the ability even to make a decision for himself. In such a case it should be legal for, say, a family to make the determination to remove life support, medication, a feeding tube, or whatever intervention is keeping the patient alive. The family would have to go to court and make the case to a judge that based on what they know about the patient, this would be in accordance with his wishes. Likewise, the doctors would be called to testify to the patient's condition and prognosis. Ultimately, the justification is that at some point of deterioration, physical existence ceases to be synonymous with human life. Rights define and sanction a man’s freedom of action; they are exercised by the living in order to live a life. Just as this freedom of action loses meaning for a corpse, they lose meaning for a body that is kept functioning without a mind or consciousness. When life has already been taken, then it is not immoral (and should not be illegal) as a final act to provide a good death.

Why are democracies more peaceful in their relations with each other than with states which are nondemocracies

In the case of the United States of America it's because capitalism hides behind .....and is actually mistaken for democracy, by conservatives

.....resulting in our our foreign policy being written by multinational corporations...literally.........and our corporations want to enslave all work forces and plunder all natural resources

That's why we fought communism so hard. There was never any real threat of communists attacking America

But communist countries threatened our corporate masters, by denying them access to their work forces and natural resources.

There are hundreds of examples to prove the point...Iraq being the most current....Hussein was no threat, but we pretended he was, our corporations, the corporate owned government, and the corporate owned media created a false threat....so they could get their greedy little murdering fingers on all that precise oil.

It's there...but they cover it up well...and the conservatives simply aren't interested in truth....more interested in phony patriotism...so the lies have a buyer.....white christian conservatives

Often the democracies set up by the United States in the 3rd world are nothing more that puppet doormen put in place by the CIA to allow our corporations to plunder and pillage...and call it democracy.....and why do we get along with these governments....well, we run them.

Although this question is thrown at experienced men on Quora I would still want to answer this even after being just 24 and unmarried.Lets try and decode this (assuming the wife is a nice and loving partner ) - Marrying a beautiful woman would have its own perks, where you would absolutely love looking at her appearance for about at least 15-20 years down the marriage or maybe even 30, provided the girl really takes care of her looks ritually. You would take pride in walking along with her and tell yourself -"this gorgeous human being is mine". People around you might also pitch in praises for your wife and this will totally make you happy. (even when nobody did anything for the looks, god gifted they are). But what next ? Is she going to be this pretty forever ? Beauty fades away with time even after those botox injections. What next ?? The long run hasn't happened ? What next ?? The answer to this is- Nobody has seen the long run. We just have faint ideas about it. God forbids but any tragic accident caused to the appearance of the physical body can in a split of a second take away the beauty ( looks ).Will the love be shattered ? Why even built marriage on grounds that can be so easily altered ? I hope you realize that beauty can absolutely be even purchased these days. But there is not a single company that claims to get you a guaranteed soul makeover. In fact your question is twisted in itself- You can't even be sure of beauty in the short run because we never know how the "RUN" will be of life. Be it short or long. We never know when would it end. If ever someone loses their partner , I cannot accept that the first, second or maybe even the 100th thought would be of partner's beauty . HEALTHY , EDUCATED, UNDERSTANDING, LOVING, OPEN MINDED AND CARING, these are the qualities that will matter in the long run. These should be your ideas of concern.  Beauty as they say is in the eyes of the beholder. Do not be fooled with the old age stagnating ideas of a wife cropping out from the society. We as humans only remember how someone made us feel (if in such a close bond like marriage) and not how they looked. I never heard anybody say anything about my mother's appearance on her death. All I could hear was people saying at what instances she had touched their lives.
