Should Teams That Don

Who Should get the next NBA team?

I would like to say Seattle but the fans let that team go... so what happens when the 5-years of expansion fever wears off and they can't fill the stands... the same thing that happened to the Sonics.

Honolulu, the travel and time change would kill the Eastern Conference teams.
Kansas... Not enough population, and it is a college ball community
Baltimore... Surrounded by the Wizards and the other markets... I do not think so.

I think Las Vegas would be a big mistake. #1 it is hard enough to justify the integrity of the NBA right now without planting a team in the gambling capital of the world. #2 there are not enough residents there to form an attending fan base. Home games would be just like any other entertainment option offered in Vegas... go see Elton John, Love, or go see the NBA game... as player I would want to play in front of a loyal crowd of fans.... not a bunch of tourists....

Truthfully, the way the league is run right now, with an almost unfair amount of the talent signed to a handful of teams, I don't think the league should expand... Half of the talent is on the Lakers, the Heat, the Celtics, etc....

I think that all of the players should be ranked... A, B, C, D, etc. and each team should only be able to have so many A's, so many B's etc... because the salary cap certainly is not keeping the league competitive... there are 4 or 5 teams that are competing for the title... the rest make a living selling $10 beer and hotdogs to their fans.

Should i quit dance team?

It's your decision, and if you want to quit, you should quit. But be aware that the team might improve.
And if you do quit, you don't have to give any explanations to people other than "I just didn't like the team anymore".
If you really like dancing, find a school or team that'll help you make progress, not hold you back.

Hope I helped!

Can you join a swim team in high school if you don’t know how to swim?

Can you join a swim team in high school if you don’t know how to swim? That would be up to the specific school and coach. However, I doubt any team would allow a non-swimmer to join, and certainly not a competitive team. Most swim teams do require that the participant know how to swim and if you are in a large high school or swimming focused school, there is probably a qualifying time to make the team. The reason being, coaching a competitive swim team and teaching someone to swim are very different tasks. The coach is probably not inclined to divide his time coaching his athletes and teaching a non-swimmer how to swim. However, no harm in asking the coach, but be prepared that he or she will likely say no.On top of that, the certifications are different. In general, swim coaching for people that already know how to swim is a different certification than that for teaching kids or adults how to swim. So, unless the school has a program to teach kids how to swim, the coach might not have the certification to teach kids how to swim.

Why don’t all NBA teams “tank” like the Sixers to get better draft picks?

Arguably, this past this season, they did. That’s why no one team won fewer than 21 games - eventually, all those tankers had to play against each other. In the 2017–2018 season:There were 30 NBA teams.16 teams made the playoffs, so obviously those ones aren’t tanking. That leaves 14 non-playoff teams.Seven of those 14 teams won 27 games or fewer: 2017-18 NBA Season Summary | Basketball-Reference.comIf you want to include the Nets (28 wins but were genuinely that bad), or the Knicks (29 wins but can be attributed to the Porzingis injury), that raises the bar to 9/14, or 64.3%.Of the five remaining non-playoff teams, there are: the Nuggets (46 wins, would have made the playoffs most seasons), the Clippers (42 wins, were in the hunt until late), the Pistons (39 wins, looked like a playoff team until the wheels fell off), the Lakers (who were encouraged by their young players even before they got LBJ), and the Hornets (who are admittedly directionless). That’s it. All the non-playoff teams in the league. At least half of those teams tanked. As Joel Embiid would say, “Process That”.

Should I quit my softball team?

The answers on this are about 50-50. And it appears to me that you are voting down those who suggest you stick it out.....that's understandable, but quitting isn't the answer either. Quitting is an awful habit to get in to. You'll learn that when life get a little tough, just turn your back on it.
I think you should finish out the season. Your parents, I'm sure paid for you to play. You are the youngest on a team that you probably had to try out for, so you must have some ability. I think the question you should ask yourself is, "Do you really hate the game, or just hate the team you're on?" I think you should finish out the season and if you don't want to play, don't play next year (I think someone already said this). But if in your heart you like the game, try out for a different team next year that's a better fit that the one you're on now. Teammates and coaches can have a tremendous effect on your outlook, especially if you don't get along with them. On your new team (If there is a new team), be the kind of teammate you wish you had this year.
There are 10 or 11 other girls on the team, surely there is 1 that you could bond with. Having a friend could make all the difference, but that.....is up to you.

Stick it out, you'll be glad you did
