Should We Replace The Red And White Stripes On Our Flag With The Kenyan Flag

What does your country flag represent? What is it called? What do the colors signify? What should everyone know about your flag?

Republic of TurkeyIt represents several things, thus we have several stories. After the Battle of Kosovo, crescent (Moon) and a star (Jupiter) reflects on a puddle of blood. This theory is widely accepted because June 28, 1389 is a possible date when Jupiter and Moon could reflect not far from each other considering the coordinates of Kosovo. Of course, this is just theory.Another rumour (rumour, not theory) is that the founder of Ottoman principality, Osman Begh saw this flag in his dream.3. Another theory is that it comes from the White banner (Ak Sancak) sent to Osman Begh by Seljukid sultan Ghiyāth ad-Dīn Mas'ūd as a symbol for the independence of Osman Begh. This is the white flag:Earliest versions of our flag was used by Ottomans. This one was used by the Ottoman navy between 1793–1844.This one was used by the Ottoman Empire, officially accepted in 1844. This is the “father” of modern Turkish flag.I also have another flag to present. This doesn’t belong to any country but to and ethnic group. The Nogay flag. (check out: The Nogay People and Nogay Culture)The winged, maned female wolf in the flag is the Kökböri. Simply means bluewolf. The blue wolf is first used by the Göktürks (or simply Turk Khaganate). There are debates on wether the Göktürk flag is real or not, but the Göktürks believed that they came from the winged blue wolf Ashina who descended from the sky to show them the way out of the Altai mountains. We don’t call it Ashina or Asena, but simply the Blue Wolf.Kökböri’s face represents bellicosity and warrior culture, her breasts (or udder) represents fertility, her mane represents strenght and her wings represent freedom and “not being chained” to a certain place. The wolf itself represents the love of freedom. The blue background represents the Blue Sky.We also use the tamgha of Nogay Khaan, who gave us our name.

Why are some American flags on uniforms all black and white?

If you’re asking why American flags on military uniforms are in black and white as opposed to full color (red, white and blue), it’s because they are worn on a combat uniform and the flag patch is in black and white to make it camouflaged and not stand out to present itself as a target on the battlefield. There is a new flag for patriotic groups…mostly for police officers…where the U.S. flag has mostly black and white stripes with one of the ‘black’ stripes being ‘blue’ instead to represent the ‘thing blue line’ which represents the ‘thin blue line’ the police departments provide in protecting innocent and law abiding folks from the criminal elements in our society.Basically, the black and white striped flags you mention are not black and white but more black and a gray or even dull silver color so as not to stand out easily on a combat style uniform.

What is Kenyan's colour preference (on a scale of percentage for each colour)?

Kenyans are as diverse as all other nationalities when it comes to colors. On an individual basis there is no color preference. It is basically a person's tastes in colors and preference. From a gender perspective, there is a strange rule about men and red things especially cars. I found this out quite recently when I went to buy a car and found a nice wine red option I wanted to take and the seller was like- men do not drive red cars. When I thought about it, it is almost true. I can count the number of men I have seen driving red cars. It is a stereotype though, you can buy a red car (any shade of the color) as you please. No one will raise eyebrows against you.Tribally, the Akamba people are renowned for their interests in brightly colored things- yellow, orange, pink, luminous green. This of course is also just a stereotype. Therefore there is no color that really stands out as a Kenyan color. Even the colors of the Kenyan flag- Black, White, Red and Green- would never be used by people because of patriotism or any bias towards them because they are Kenyan colors. People where black and white by change, black and red by chance, red and white by chance, white and green by chance and some crazy combination of red and green also by chance (I am yet to see this one).

What is the Zimbabwean flag like?

The design of the Zimbabwean flag is seven horizontal stripes of green, yellow, red, and black with a white triangle, and the Zimbabwe bird superimposed on a red five-pointed star. The colours are politically and culturally significant:Green represents the agriculture of Zimbabwe; Yellow stands for the country's mineral wealth (mostly gold); Red symbolises the bloodshed of the independence struggles; and Black indicates the ethnicity and heritage of Zimbabwe's majority black people. The white triangle is a symbol of peace; the red star represents the country's aspirations (some, including the ruling ZANU-PF party, take it to represent socialism); and the Zimbabwe bird is the national symbol of Zimbabwe. Also, the flag has a 1:2 proportion, and it was adopted on the 18th of April 1980.

Has the word 'terrorist' lost it's meaning?

"YOU CRAZY LIBRUL! HOW DARE YOU QUESTION OUR COUNTRY'S RAIGHT TUH CALL YEW A TURRURYST!!"
