Sims 3 flashes a black screen, then freezes?
This is driving me crazy! I looked for answers on anything I could find about this, but everything I tried hasn't taken action to my gameplay. Whenever I play my game on Sims 3, on any mode, the screen starts to flash black, and most of the time freezes. Sometimes it wouldn't freeze, and I continue to play (the screen becomes darker after), and even then it may do it again and it would do the same and freeze, I would have to hold down the power button to shut down my computer. I can't play the game without it freezing every 5 minutes!
How to stop Sims 3 Crashes (specifically after renovating someones house in the Architect profession)?
I used to have regular crashes on the Sims 3 a few months ago but eventually it was fixed. However, lately it has been crashing again. It happens when one of my Sims renovates someones house (she is in the Architect profession). As soon as I click the "Turn in Renovation" button, it crashes. And of coarse it's after I have spent a bit of time renovating this person's house... This is the only time I experience crashes in the Sims 3 now. I can't determine if it started happening after the latest patch was released, but I feel like that's probably around the time when it started. It is very annoying. I have double and even triple checked the computer requirements, and the computer I use meets them. I have searched for answers, but when I search my question I generally get answers that people have found from up to a year ago, and its more of the random crashes that people experience, not my specific problem. I don't feel like these crashes are random because I know it will crash when I click "Turn in Renovation". It isn't EVERY time I renovate a house, but its been most of the time for a couple weeks now. I haven't been playing the game as much as I used to so I'm not sure how long this has been going on for, but the past few times within the few weeks or so that I have been playing, it crashes. Can someone please tell me how I can fix this or make it stop? I would really appreciate it :)
The Sims 3 Pets "has stopped working" crash? Please help!?
I was playing the sims for the longest time with no problem. I've had pets installed since it came out. I was playing for a little bit this morning, took a break (by turning my computer off) and when I came back to play, once I entered the family and unpaused it, it froze for a few seconds and then crashed and gave me the "The sims 3 has stopped working" message. I play on windows seven, and no other family I play has the problem. I updated my game and everything and I don't know whats wrong! I don't use CC (except from the store) and I only have 2 or 3 mods. Everything was fine, this issue is completely random! Any way I can fix this? Thanks!

that is EA DRM. EA's Digital Rights Management currently checks the product code of your game and matches it against the product code EA has. if the codes do not match, the game closes. with so many players on, the servers that do this are getting bogged down. when connection times out, the DRM check fails, thus the program closes assuming you are a pirate. usually these checks occure when ever you do general shift (go from play mode to build mode, transition between large lots, or achieve something big. which is where most player expereince them. simple fix. unplug your computer from the internet.
The Sims 3 Crash "No Signal" on monitor?
After about 15 - 30 minutes of gameplay, the Sims 3 suddenly freezes with the sound still playing, then the monitor (18" LCD) goes black and displays a box reading "No Signal" . . . at about this time the last sound that was playing is repeated like a broken record, and I cannot get to the desktop or do anything; I can only manually reset the PC myself. My computer greatly exceeds the requirements for the game, the graphics are on high while playing, and it looks great. No choppiness. Windows XP Professional - SP3 AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.2 Ghz 2 GB DDR2 RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro w/ 512 MB DDR2 I have updated the video card, the OS, DirectX and anything else that other sites suggested, and i've also reinstalled the game a few times also. My PC plays the game fine for a good amount of time, but it's very frustrating that it crashes with no reason like this.

My cracked sims 3 keeps crashing?
I also pirated my copy of Sims 3. Are you sure you put the crack in the right folder? Usually you get an ISO and from there, a crack. Copy the said crack and paste it into your game directory (the place where you installed the actual game). You can get the most help by reading the comments from where you downloaded your torrent from.
How to fix black screen flashing and crash on The Sims 3?
Sounds like a video card issue. Try updating your drivers. Does it do the same thing with other games? Try lowering your graphics settings in the game and see if that helps too.
