Sims 3 Medical Career Glitch

Why can't my sim change into a career outfit?

My sim is an Organ Donor in the Medical career, and when she goes to work, her career outfit shows up as her athletic outfit! Also I've notice a glitch when she tries to use her dresser, she walks into it. And when the car picks her up for work, it shows up in front of the neighbor's house. I don't know if I have a glitch, the only cheat I'm using is the 'testingcheatsenabled' one. What do I do??

i know that there's something about reading books from work about medical i got one book called " Medical beeper " but i can't even drag it to a table or click in it to read it what should i do ?!

How do you get rid of the flu on the Sims 2?

Sims will catch the flu if their home is infested with roaches, so first and foremost, check for them, or call in exterminator and then clean up after them (since they don't) or hire a maid. If the source isn't attacked, what chance do they have at getting better? :P

As for curing, are you having your Sims relax on their bed (instead of in a living space), as to keep them as isolated as possible? The flu is quite contagious, and if you don't isolate your Sims, one can get better, only to recatch it from another. Also note that it takes about three days of pure resting for a Sim to get better.

Is one of the Sims in your household a member of the Science career by any chance? The career reward biotech station can be used by a Sim with high logic and a good mood (if that's possible with the flu hehe) to create medicine that can be used to speed up the curing. Note though that unless you have FreeTime or Apartment Life, you'll need to download and install http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/in... to fix it.

Now, I'm not sure about this one, but if you have the Seasons expansion pack, if your Sims have an orange tree and can collect six oranges, those can be put in a juicer to create orange juice. I know for a fact that it will cure colds. Flu though is just a guess on my part. But if you have it, it's worth a shot.

If you have FreeTime (or Apartment Life, as it's carried over) and a Sim has the Family aspiration, one of the benefits for that (unlocked in the rewards tab thingy) is the ability to make Grandma's Comfort Soup, which when eaten, will cure any illness a Sim has.

Now, I don't know of any cheats to directly cure illnesses, however, going back to the Science career reward, if needed, that can be unlocked via cheat. Open up the cheat window (Ctrl + Shift + C) and enter "unlockcareerrewards" (without the quotes, and if you have any expansion pack other than University), and all the rewards will be unlocked. Or, instead you can enter "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and then shift + click on a newspaper, and an option will appear to unlock a specific career reward. Just be sure to turn the cheat off after use by replacing "true" with "false" as keeping it on can potentially harm your game.

In the Sims 3, my sim is supposed to do research but received no medical journal?

The first time that the research requirement appears, I never had a medical journal either. Ridiculous, I know. The next time she goes to work, and every time thereafter, she will receive a medical journal to read; it just does not happen the first time the requirement appears. They can be read more than once, although I do not know if it is beneficial to read them more than once. If the next time she goes to work, she does *not* receive a journal, then your game is likely glitched. Try re-starting the game and see if that helps, or (more drastically) have her quit her job then take the job again. She will begin at a slightly lower career level more than likely, but it should reset the hospital/journal path if your game glitched the first time.
