Since Being Politically Correct Is In Direct Conflict With Being Political Accurate Does This

Do you think the definition of political correctness is the same for the left and the right?

No I do not think that the definition of Political Correctness is the same for the left and the right. As a caveat: my answer is anecdotal; I come by it through reading political blogs and articles. The left believes that Political Correctness is just being polite, nonjudgemental, not being racist, bigoted, and respectful of people’s identity. They see charges from the right of the left being “Too politically correct” as a dog whistle for the people on the right wanting to be rude, crude, racist and bigoted without being challenged. The people on the right believe that Political Correctness is used as a tool for censoring different opinions or activities that have been deemed “offensive.” For example, if a college professor wants to have a conversation about halloween costumes, that conversation very well may challenge the belief system of the students. If the conversation is shut down, the professor is run off of campus and has to resign…The right would say this is not being PC cost someone their livelihood. So for the TL&DR version: The left sees PC as just being kind, respectful and non-racist; the right sees PC as a tool of oppression and censorship. As always…In my opinion.

How does the Supreme Court keep from being influenced by politics?

The Supreme Court is totally influenced by politics. There are very few true Constitutionalists on the Court, and most of them have taken to 'legislating from the bench' - instead of upholding the Constitution.

In order to prevent the political influencing, presidents need to appoint people who understand their role, but don't look for that to happen any time soon. The Court has been, and is now, just an extension of the political party in power, and basically interprets the Constitution in light of their political ideology.

Edit: Well, I think it is nearly impossible to argue the other side of this - only in theory can the Supreme Court be unbiased, which is the original intention of the founding fathers. You could probably research their ideas and comments about the Court and how they intended it to work. That's the best I can do, because as it stands now, it is completely influenced by politics. Good luck.

Is there a fact checking site that is not politically biased like Snopes is?

Is there a fact checking site that is not politically biased like Snopes is?I disagree with your assertion that Snopes is biased,If your evidence of this was made by comparing pre-trump Snopes posts about the Obama administration versus Trump administration you might be failing to remember that Trump lies by default, whereas Obama (and really most of the presidents aside a few) did not.At a glance this might make it appear that there is undue focus on calling Trump to task on every lie he makes, but it is the job of a fact checking organization to call authorities to task for their lies and mis-stated statistics.Trump has been known to not pay workers for services rendered and to go bankrupt in order to not have to pay certain sums of money again for services rendered. So far he has failed to come through with any of his over the top campaign promises, has continued to ‘fill the swamp’ rather than drain it, threatened a witness in a federal investigation, said the constitutional limitation on presidential powers was bad for the nation, and paid off a silence to a prostituting porn actress whom she claims he chose because she reminded him of his daughter, and so on. All this amounts to an individual of low moral character who says whatever he thinks will make him look good regardless of its truth. When your country is run by such a unevolved unethical excuse for a human- regardless of which party such a trollish oaf might be born from, all of your fact checking agencies will appear to have the following traits:they appear to give too much focus to correcting the mistruths of that individualDue to #1 they will then appear to have sided with the opposing political group or party.Their data will seem to be in direct conflict with the claims of the person in question, andif for some reason one has a misplaced loyalty to that person, any fact checker that reports methodically on their mistruths will seem to be an organized attack rather than a rigorous correction. That is to say: if he were not so regularly just making stuff up and put a little effort into being President and memorizing the data points that are of critical importance to millions of people who he is unjustly put into the post of being responsible for, he would then make fewer ‘mistakes’ and Snopes would appear to be less politically biased against him.

What are the real goals of political correctness and who is behind it?

Political correctness means not being a bigot. Let’s get that out of the way. If you’re politically incorrect, you’re a *bad* person. The great thing about political correctness is that it gives us an easy way to tell who’s a bad person. If I start spewing hatred about Jews or Christians or Mexicans or blacks or whoever, I’m a bad person. Easy!Political correctness doesn’t constrain good people. Political correctness is simply a reliable way of determining that someone is not good. If you’re racist against white people but you don’t *say* anything racist against white people, nobody will know your ignorance! It may sound like I’m being unnecessarily harsh. What if your religion *requires* you to be a racist bigot? Some religions are like that. Mormonism used to be that way. Even my own religion, Judaism, has some aspects of this. Judaism holds that we Jews are a holy people, “holy” meaning “separate”. How can we be equal if Jews are separate? There’s definitely some doublethink necessary here. I do this by striving to be a good person civically — that is, I don’t consider Jews to be separate outside of specifically ritual contexts. The fact is that while some aspects of different religions can be ugly, outside of the context of those religions, being a racist bigot makes you a very bad person indeed. If you don’t believe that your religion allows two men to marry, for example, well, that’s ugly but it’s OK. But if those two men aren’t marrying inside your religion and you complain (that’s classic un-PC behavior), you’re a pretty bad person. The real goals of political correctness are to not offend people unnecessarily and to change the way racists (that is, bad people) think by exposing racists who insult others. It certainly does not come from some hidden oligarchy who dictates public policy — that belief is a possible symptom of paranoia and should be investigated by a relevant health professional. Remember, the opposite of political correctness is bigotry.

I really Need help with examples of Communication's Filters!!?

I really need help with examples of communication filters. I need 5 examples before tomorrow. My teacher did say like if you were walking down the street and someone walked up to you and you thought he was going to rob you because of past experience but he was only asking for directions. I need 5 please and it has to be examples of knowledge, culture, emotions at moment, personality, socioeconomic status and demographic variables. Please and thank you so much!

Are liberal males basically feminized and emasculated little boys mentally and emotionally?

See that picture, liberal males? That's what you are on the inside. Feminized little boys. Every time you look in the mirror that's what you should see.
