Since The Rodney King Riots Helped Ruin Bush

What are the causes of gang violence today?

They are fighting for territory ; simple as that ; because there always new member ; and the regular doesn't want them in their lucrative trade

Do the anti-Trump riots signal the collapse of the United States?

It’s not an absolute opinion but I think that it signals evolution of the United States and it’s economy. What happened in 2016 was the people of the United States pushing back against neoliberalism. It was a political revolution of it’s own, of the people deciding they wanted to change the record on politics and open up a new chapter in history. Hillary and Trump represented two distinct forces - stability and change - and to be perfectly honest, I don’t think Hillary was ‘change’ at all. In fact, she was entirely the wrong candidate for the election and it has cost the world dearly.Do I think the US will collapse? Probably not but I do believe that what we are seeing is the evolution of society through the conflict of opposing social forces. Primarily, the two contradicting forces in this case are order and stability versus desperation and change. The Democrats failed to tap into the desperation and change, they instead represented the continuation of the power of the establishment and the elite. They would have loved nothing more than to further their own neoliberal agenda. Trump on the other hand, represented this inherent change that people wanted, perhaps he was not the best choice to carry out that change but at least he represented a change.Furthermore, we see this conflict within the left-wing of the nation too. Bernie or Bust voters specifically wanted change. Like Trump supporters, they viewed Hillary as the continuation of a liberal establishment doctrine, not the bringer of change and prosperity. The conflict, as we can see, wasn’t just between liberals and conservatives but stability versus change.Moving on, this conflict between contradicting ideals has culminated to this huge clash between forces but even better, has shaken up the entire establishment, exposing the true nature of the discontent in America. We are seeing a dramatic shift in political ideology overall. It is becoming more polarised, yet more focused on the working-class and wealth of the people above the nation, and importantly, shifting away from liberal-conservative antagonisms to more traditional economic left and right antagonisms.Other nations in the West are likely going to see this too, it’s already happening in the UK, and all of this was fuelled by the increasingly complacent brand of centrist politics that dominated for about two decades that alienated the working-classes, the largest voting demographic. So collapse, no. Evolution and dramatic shift, yes.

How can we fight against the NRA regarding gun control?

Mr. Hsu,You asked the question:“How can we fight against the NRA regarding gun control?”First, and foremost, thank you for your more than passing interest in American politics. I am glad you want to be globally informed. Now, you need to improve your global information sources so you don’t sound like a chowderhead when you ask questions like this.If you want to fight the NRA then I suggest you first LEGALLY immigrate to the United States and become a citizen. Then you need to find about 60,000,000 Americans who will vote with reasonable consistency on an issue that is a fundamental human right. What, you don’t see firearms ownership as a fundamental human right? That’s OK, a little over 220 years ago the Founding Fathers of America understood this better than most do today. They understood that sometimes the government FAILS to protect and the individual must be able to defend their life and livelihood and family without the support of the Government. At this point you must be thinking “surely a country as big and great as the United States wouldn’t leave citizens defenseless,” and you would be WRONG.Look at the riots in Baltimore, Maryland and Ferguson, Missouri recently. Look at the Los Angeles riots following the Rodney King riots.Citizens were hurt and property destroyed and the police did little if anything in the first two cases. In the third case, the police had pulled back to protect the “entitled rich white folk” while leaving the Asian immigrants to fend for their selves. These 60,000,000 people you need to be able to “fight” are the gun owners who have watched for the past couple of decades as the anti-2nd-amendment crowd seeks to limit the rights of the law abiding while flat freaking ignoring the real solutions to the problems of VIOLENCE. You see, it isn’t the tool that is the problem as the Britons are finding out, what with banning guns then knives and then more knives and now acid. The problem is treating criminals as victims of society and kissing their rear-ends and trying to paint the rest of society as the victimizer of the ‘poor, sad, misguided criminal’.We can fix the violence problem without banning the ownership of firearms by law abiding citizens. It just means that we need to actually put teeth, shark like teeth, in our laws and enforcement.I’m sorry if the laws of another country bother you so much. Perhaps you should live in your insular little bubble where bad things don’t happen to good people.

What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?

Is Larry Elder right that the Democrats are actually harming black people with their social policies and the "bigotry of low expectations"?

Larry Elder has lived in South Central, Los Angeles for a about two decades and during the time Arnold Schwarzenegger was the governor. This “bigotry of low expectations “ from the democrats and the savior of black folks coming from Republicans is ludicrous. Consider in 1992 the truce between CRIPS AND BLOODS after the verdict acquittals of L.A. police officers in the Rodney king case and the rioting and looting put to an end for 1 year on the promise of GOP governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to provide jobs in those communities. Moreover, Gary Webb a journalist finds that the war which was sanctioned under Ronald Wilson Reagan and Marine Lt. Colonel Oliver North between the Contras and the Sandinistas was done via a CIA Cocaine and arms smuggling operation within the streets of Los Angeles during the late eighties into George Herbert Walker Bush administration. It culminated in the homicides of 40,000 people between 1981-1992. Where was Larry Elder insofar as speaking up and out on conservatives in government during this era?Dead silent. He didn't address it then or now but insists on being a “”Brother “ from South Central!Congresswoman Maxine waters (D) CA- had a deputy director of CIA come to Los Angeles and face the angry crowd who admitted they had a gang problem but had no idea that the guns, ammunition and other contraband used during those slayings was facilitated by a Republican President and Marine Lt. Colonel and an inept governor and intelligence agencies.Where was “The bigotry of low expectations” and your house trained Negro -Larry Elder?Nowhere to be found. Find a C.k. Watts, Michael G. Steele, Colin Powell or Walter Scott to articulate conservative platforms with integrity and a record to run on and opt out of this Negro plantation ownership you conservatives seem to be ecstatic about when bashing progressive or liberal platforms.
