Girl ignores me on facebook but not in real life?
So I like this girl at work... I have talked to her in the past a couple of times..in a very casual way but I wanted to know more about her so I added her on facebook (she accepted it) I sent a msg saying hi...she said hi 3 days later....I sent her a photo of the a sunset I captured earlier that day at work...she saw the message hours later (at 4:30 AM ) and didnt say a word...2 days later I said Hi again and she saw it and ignored me again...so I decided to ignore and avoid eye contact with her at work but today I was walking close to where she sits and I was talking to a co worker...and she started shushing me and giving me stares( she had never done this in the past), minutes later my boss gave everyone chocolates and she took mine away from my hands and said "there is no chocolate for you" and left...my coworker said she was evidently flirting with me...so I sent a message to her on facebook asking her if she ate my chocolate lol...but once again she ignored me....why??? I'm confused
Yes/No: Social networks like Facebook promote individuality instead of openness...?
As opposed to its "open" policy, I suspect social networks like Facebook and Friendster only promote further rifts between people, thus promoting individuality because instead of communicating face-to-face, people are increasingly opting the "shortcuts" to meeting their family, friends, acquaintances etc. It's OK to use it occasionally especially if the two sides are separated with 1,000 miles between them. I'm not saying social networks do not have their advantages. My point is, the constant use of these websites is promoting a robotic/fake culture whereby people "talk" to each other through a computer screen. There's nothing human about it at all. That's just one factor. The stuff people put on their personal space are sometimes disturbing and downright annoying, as they are using the webpage to promote their narcissism. There are also news where members of these social networks use their status updates to tell their connections that they are going to commit suicide. It's like, they want to go "in style" before they die. People nowadays would do anything to get their "five minutes of fame". It's very disturbing. I would like to know if you agree that social networks (indirectly) promote individuality? Thank you.
Is the website cliquesters on cyberbully a real website?
Lemme just help you all out a little bit. Cliquesters is not a real site. It's based off of Clicksters which cause a young girl to kill herself a couple years ago and was shut down. If you guys want a cliquesters, make a facebook. That's all it is. And for those of you who say it's a horrible site and you don't know why anyone would want it anyway, you probably have a facebook. Social networking sites, are not horrible. What's horrible is the people that abuse the openness of these sites to harm others, in other words, cyberbullying. You're all so naive.
How do you meet singles on Facebook?
facebook is not really a way of meeting new people since 99% of people deny new friend requests from people they dont know. the other 1% they list you as spam. ( not real statistics but you get the point) anyway there's no sure fire way of meeting a single lady on facebook since its used only to communicate with friends and family. if people met their significant others on facebook, its probably because they met that person somewhere in the real world and became friends on facebook and it grew to a relationship, etc. if you really want to meet a single woman, try some other dating sites like zoosk and eharmony, or even just strike up a convorsation with a lonely lady at a starbucks or at a park. just break the ice with a lady anywhere. something small like, nice weather today, if it is indeed sunny and warm, or if you're at a coffee shop, just say "sorry to bother you but i was wondering what kind of coffee you're drinking, its my 1st time and i wanted to get an opinion". anything that will break the ice to a lady will be a good start off. hope this helped you out.
