Is it safe to use pressure treated wood for a dining room table?
I was thinking of taking down an old weathered, meager-looking fence in my backyard and using some of the 4x4s and 2x4s to build a dining room table. The fence was there when we moved in and I'm assuming it's pressure treated. I know pressure treated lumber is treated with various chemicals. Is there anything in there that would make it sketchy to use for a table?
