Skinny Guy Need Home Work Out Help

Skinny and short guy?

I'm a guy about 5.7.5, 135 pounds. Do any women like short/skinny guys? Should I gain some weight?

I have six pack abs and I am fairly muscular, but a women told me I am too skinny, that I look like Christian Bale from the machinist.

Another one said I was too short even though she is only 5'2, so she came up to about my chin. I guess we all have our preferences, but for the love of christ it is frustrating!

Diet and workout for skinny guy?

Check out wannabebig.com,stronglifts.com,muscle gaining secrets, and hardgainer project X.

You dont necessarily need to eat that many meals a day. A guy named Ori Hefmekler(i think its something like that) advocates in his warrior diet one meal in the evening. Sounds a little crazy to me but I guess it might work.
Some sites will tell you if you dont eat every three hours that the body will go into a catabolic state.
Some people will tell you eating every 3 hours will keep insulin elevated and make you fat, or skinny.
I think the main thing is finding what works for you.
Try staying to one diet plan strictly for 3 weeks.I think you may find that its pretty hard to stick to a diet.
If you want to put on size then minimally you need a pullup bar and Id say two 40lb dumbells.
Eventually you would adapt to these implements though so itd be important to change things up once in a while. Some guys say it takes a week to adapt, some say it takes 4 weeks or longer.
Once again, find out what works for you.

Should skinny guy eat the whole egg after work out?

Ignore the person who said that the white is healthier - complete nonsense!
The yolk contains all the vitamins, minerals, half the protein. All the fats that you need, and the cholesterol (which again is needed by the body). The yolk also help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol.

I usually get through 30-40 eggs per week. If you're trying to bulk up, they're the perfect food.

Hope this helps.

SKINNY GUY WORKOUT: How can I build muscle?

Since you are just starting out it will be a while until you see the results yo are probably looking for. Since you have no equipment, chances are you are going to plateau pretty quickly, meaning that soon your arms will be used to the weight of your body and will nto change from that state. Try packing some heavy belongings in a back pack and gradually go up in weight.

For exercises, without equipment, i would suggest dips, pushups are good, pull ups and chin ups if you can find something to safely support the stress. Leg lifts and crunches are good for abs and back.

As for the food, lean meats (but never fried) like chicken and steamed vegetables like broccoli are great as well as white rice for the carbs and energy as well as a little fat. THe fat you gain is easier to turn to muscle than having nothing at all. You are going to want as much protein as possible, and fish is another protein rich food.

Try and make sure your never hungry and always have some form of protein in you. THis will help you gain in size but mostly muscle. Whats not muscle will be easy to turn to muscle if you keep on top of your routine.

Personal Tip: Having defined arms and chest is great, but if you dont work out the other parts of your body as well you start to look disproportioned and you dont what that.

What at-home workout plan would you recommend for a skinny 16-year-old guy trying to build some muscle?

Unlike some of the other answers I definitely think you can build some solid mass at home, especially when you’re 16. When you’re 16 you can put on muscle doing almost anything as long as you eat!I’d start by doing a whole body workout. I think whole body routines are the best for beginners, because, you get more exposure to the exercises, thus gaining a better understanding of form quicker. I don’t personally believe you need to work one muscle group then have a week off to achieve optimal results.Do this routine 3 - 4 times a week;Squats - These are going to be your leg builders. Where most of your power comes from. Since these are going to be bodyweight, i’d be doing all my exercises almost till failure (just before the point where your body says “no more”). Do 4 - 5 sets likes this. Squats are really important to get the form right.Planks - These will help you build a strong core. Thats really important for playing sports, it’ll help you resist force and protect the spine. Do 5 sets of these for as long as you can hold.Push-ups - These will work your triceps (arms), chest and traps. These are most peoples favourite body weight exercises. I still love them and do them regularly. Again 4 -5 sets almost till failure.Pike pushups - these are a variation of the normal push and will focus on building bigger shoulders which are key to looking bigger. These will also help you do cooler stuff like handstand pushups down the road. 3 - 4 sets till failure.Back circuit - Since the back is such a large area and includes so many muscles I really like these exercises done one after another to build it up. Each exercise for 30seconds 3 times. You could also split these into working your upper body one day then working your abs and legs another day.NutritionMake sure you eat lots of lean protein sources in the form of meat, fish, eggs. But don’t forget your vegetables as well! You want to be healthy and big. When it comes to putting on muscle the most important thing you can learn is its at least 60% what you eat 40% your workouts. So focus on eating healthy and eating more. One last tip from me is when I was your age i found having a big glass of milk before bed allowed me to gain some weight (I was very skinny). If you want to learn more of find some weighted routines if or when you decide to join a gym check out my blog at A&K Labs: Premium Health Supplements And Accessories

Do protein shakes actually work for skinny guys?

you sound like a hard gainer, so it will be a greater challenge for you to make the gains. You should stick to making your own whey protein gainer smoothies, this way you can insure they are chemical free, safe and as big or as small as you want to make them.

here are a couple video recipes that might get you on your way to 150lbs!
