Skunks Coat Turning Orange And Falling Out

Why is my cat's urine orange and how bad is it?

the urine could be concentrated because the cat is dehydrated. Very serious. But why is she dehydrated? But, I once had a cat that urinated the oddest color urine - in the bathtub! It was a neon orange. I didnt even know it was urine at the time. No real odor. Thought someone might have vomited something. All my cats were fine so I didn’t think much of it. A few days or weeks later one of my younger cats was bloated and lethargic. Went immediately to the vet. It was FIP. A lethal disease. The cat was euthanized (there is no treatment). The vet had aspirated fluid from her chest - and it was that bright color orange! Now the incident in the bathtub made sense. That’s probably not the case w your cat, but please have her checked out.

Skunks coat turning orange and falling out?!?

I have a white skunk thats not albino (if that even matters) we feed him a regular diet of chicken, eggs, edamame, and rice. We recently went to the vet a month or so ago and they said he was a little over weight so we also learned that rice is high in carbs so we switched it
out with a different kind thats lower in carbs and ir has an or age dye in it. His coat recently turned orange in a certain area and his coat started to shed a lot more. We read that it coyld be the dye in the rice so we switched it out recently for green beans. What else could be causing it? My mother is going to take him to a vet soon if he doesnt improve. Any ideas? Thanks.

How is the best way to stop coloring hair and go naturally gray?

I did this about 15 years ago. I had been coloring my hair for about seven years and I hated it and was ready to quit.  But my hair was dyed a dark brown shade and my roots were white, so I was afraid I would look like a skunk if I just abruptly stopped coloring it.I went to the nearby Aveda salon and had a consultation with a color specialist. She warned me that I would spend at least four hours in her chair while we fixed the problem and it would cost me some money, but I resolved to go ahead. I made an appointment for the next weekend. When I arrived they put me in a gown and bleached my whole head. After one bleach application there was still enough dye scattered in my hair that I looked like an ocelot, so they bleached it a second time. After the second time they shampooed it, conditioned the living fuck out of it, and then laid blonde highlights over it to even out the color until it could grow into its natural silver shade and the double-bleached, stressed parts of the hair could be cut off.So for almost a year, perhaps ten or eleven months, I was a blonde. This was very strange to me because I grew up with coal black hair, and was also very strange to my husband, although he was a good sport about it. During this time I noticed that male strangers were flirtier with me than they ever had been before, and I was reminded of the Clairol ads from when I was a little girl: "Is it true blondes have more fun?" After a few fairly aggressive haircuts the blonde part was mostly gone and all I had left was the silvery salt-and-pepper that was my natural color. Over the years the ratio of salt to pepper has increased and it'a almost all silvery white except for some underneath sections in the back. This is what it looks like today:

Hair coloring experts~my hair always turns red and light no matter what color dye is put on it....?

The best thing for you to use is the ash brown but make sure the number contains an N. If you have a Sallys nearby go there and try the Beautiful Browns line by Miss Clairol, it is a semi permamnent and can be put on the hair without mixing any developer and it should last about 2-3 weeks and will fade gradually. If you find that this is the color you want then you can add 20 vol developer to it in equal parts and it will last about 4-6 weeks. Ash Brown has a green base which cancels out the red. Maybe you are not leaving it on long enough. I hope this helps.

I am an Indian teen guy, and my hair is becoming white. What can I do to get rid of it?

I got my first white hair at age 15, so I think I have some idea how you feel. By the time I was 21 I had a fair number of white hairs scattered over the top of my head, where they were quite obvious to everyone, and over the years I got more and more. Now at age 58 the topmost layer of my hair is almost entirely white although I still have some black hairs underneath, especially at the back of my head. Here is what my hair looks like:If you have just a few white hairs you can ignore them (my college roommate plucked hers out with a tweezer, not recommended), but ultimately you have three choices: you can shave your head, you can dye your hair for the next 30-50 years, or you can accept and embrace your white hair.I began to dye my hair in my late 30s and continued for seven years. Eventually it just became such an annoyance that I decided I had to stop. When you dye your hair you have to start worrying about things like roots: how many weeks has it been since you applied dye? Are your roots showing? If I go on a business trip for two weeks do I need to move up my touchup schedule to attend to those roots before I go, or should I wait until afterwards and go on a business trip with white roots showing? Etc.Frankly I found it exhausting. I wanted to just live my life. But once you start dyeing your hair it is hard to stop. If you just stop cold you get a kind of skunk stripe down the top of your head as your roots grow out, and it takes months and months (if you keep your hair short) for the color to become even all over your head. What I did was go to a salon for "corrective color" - they bleached my hair thoroughly and then conditioned it and gave me blonde highlights. I lived with that for nine or ten months before my natural silver color grew out completely. So those are your choices. I recommend just letting it grow in and embracing it. White hair can be beautiful. I like mine a lot and I get a lot of compliments on it. Good luck!

How many cats and/or dogs do you live with and what are their names?

At the present time I live with one cat. Rachit is a Blue Point Siamese neutered male. I had a Flame Point Siamese neutered male who developed a inoperable tumor in January. Rachit is 7 years old and Ringo was 9. Both were rescued from shelters.Six years ago, I lived with a Brittany Spaniel named Gordo. Gordo been adopted from the Brittany Rescue group. At the same time, I had Rover, a 21 year Flame Point neutered male rescued from a neighbor’s window box. Also Puff, a neutered Seal Point female, 21 years old.My usual group consists of two or three rescued cats and a dog. I am in my eighties now and prone to falls. This is probably my last pet. But one never knows when a cat will need a home. My youngest son will be the one to take over. He has a pit/lab female named Angel who was rescued off the street and a Maine Coon cat named Tuffy who showed up across the street as a stray.
