Skyrim Modding Help Read All.

Skyrim Modding Help! Read all.?

Okay so I am on ps3 and I mod games pretty often. usb mods...Now I am trying to mod my game save of Skyrim and I am having trouble decrypting the save file. I thought I could just decrypt it with "Brute Force Save Data" but when i do I then put it through HeX editor. When I do that I see alot of stuff that I think I am supposed to see. My characters name and the save and time played. Now when I edit something and then re-encrypt it with Brute Force again it works. But when I go and try to put the save on my ps3 it wont play the save file. It says that it is version 0 and it needs to be version 9. So I get pretty shitty. I keep looking it up online and trying to find a cause but I cannot find an answer. All I can find is other peoples save... Its skyrim. Its pretty customized for me.. why the hell would I want your save right? Anyway I looked up that I am supposed to decrypt the save file with this "Skyrim ps3 toolkit GUI" But when I put my save into the decrypt thingy it just sits there... and doesnt do a single damn thing. Am i using that program wrong? Am i supposed to be doing something else with the program? Is there something else i should use? And Does anyone know the Hex code for magic I cannot seem to find it anywhere... thanks.

Skyrim Mod Help, new to modding.?

First off, for the game to look amazing outside character models you need a really powerful computer. For high-resolution textures and ENB (post-process injectors) you need a high end gaming PC or laptop. I have a feature on my site for the best mods of Skyrim. Go through each section one by one and start downloading them. Use the Nexus Mod Manager on Skyrim Nexus after you start going through my mods feature. Honestly, you literally just click the mod you want to download, it downloads in the manager, and you install it.

You also need SKSE for things like SkyUI and anything that uses scripts. You can find that in the links below as well. Skyrim is a bit complicated to mod at first, it's also VERY picky, Once you install a mod you really can't uninstall it because it leaves scripts behind in the saves and can corrupt it. You will know a save is corrupted when it crashes to the desktop while loading or gets stuck on a load screen.

Start with this: Go to my site below and hover over the Blogs section at the top, then go down to the Skyrim section. Start with Part 1 and work your way down finding mods you like.

Below that is my user profile on Skyrim Nexus of my personal screenshots for you to kind of see what to expect. Click the mountain (image) icon tab on my profile for the screenshots.

When you download SKSE READ THE README. It has install instructions. Also LAUNCH THE GAME USING THE skse_launcher.exe NOT THE ONE ON STEAM. This is important for using things like the Wet and Cold mod, SkyUI, KaceAutoLoot etc.

Once you find a mod just download the Nexus Mod Manager at the top, it will all become self explanatory trust me on this. I know this post seems kind of random, but there IS A LOT to modding Skyrim. If you want more help outside of this post here on Yahoo go the About page at the top of my site and find my email to ask further questions. I have been modding Skyrim since day 1 launch, and I am more than happy to offer further help. Also, as you can see my avatar on Yahoo is an older Skyrim character I modded.

In what order should I load my Skyrim SE mods? I am using mods from bethesda.net.

Sometimes you have to play around with the load order. You need to read each individual mod to find out where they should go though. The mod authors are usually pretty good about telling you where it's best to go. The lowest mod will override anything above it. If you have two different graphics mods that touch the same item the lowest one will take precedence. Hope this helps and Happy gaming!

Do you read the books in Skyrim?

I've read quite a few, typically those with intriguing titles such as Chaurus Pie: A Recipe and A Troll Hunter’s Guide.A lot of them are really funny (such as the previous two; those are great), and it's clear a lot of effort was put into them. Kolb and the Dragon is actually a choose-your-own-adventure storybook, it's pretty good.I personally recommend A Game At Dinner; it’s an Alchemy skillbook that I believe has existed since Morrowind. It tells the story of how Prince Helseth, son of Queen Barenziah and in line for the throne of Morrowind, devised a clever plot to weed out spies from his court. It's suspenseful and full of intrigue, really well written. It can be found in the following locations. Pick it up and give it a read, if you get the chance!Dead Crone Rock, near a lever to open a door.Forsaken Cave, in the lower level (Forsaken Crypt), down the hall below the word wall to the right. Nurelion's Mixture, a quest item from the "The White Phial" quest, is required to access this location.Harmugstahl, behind the locked door opposite the hole in the wall. The book is on the top shelf of the bookcase.Honningbrew Meadery, upstairs on a table behind an adept skill locked door.Windhelm, on a table on the second floor of New Gnisis Cornerclub. And thanks for A2A!

Skyrim: Mods on Xbox 360?

I think its funny when people who obviously don't know the answer to a question automatically assume that their presumption will suffice. The correct answer to this question is yes, but it is not easy you will need to J-tag your Xbox and you will need to find a program called Xlast
( Xbox 360 and Live Authoring Submission Tool).
Now Xlast is a program that is exclusive to Microsoft Dev's so I don't know how you'll get it, but I know it is possible. I also know that someone (not to sure who) is making a program that works just like Xlast because if Microsoft catches you with Xlast they will most likely sue the bajesus out of you because it is not a program that they want the general public to have and they own the rights to it.
Watch some of this guys videos he knows whats up. I have never asked for anything from this dude so do so at you own peril if there is any and maybe he can point you in the right direction.

I hope that reading all of these wrong answers to your question doesn't discourage you from checking other answers to your question.

Skyrim Nexus mods or any mods for ps3?

I love skyrim but it is missing something. I have been seeing these amazing mods for skyrim on YouTube but sadly I only have a ps3. I have heard you could hack your ps3,but would it be worth getting in to deep doodoo with Sony. I have read that Nexus it the way to go for good mods but I have never seen or heard of it going on a ps3.

Don't try telling me to get an Xbox because I like PlayStation. Free internet and I got the reverse Gen so I can play everything I still have from PlayStation and PlayStation2.

Can you install DLCs, Hi-Res texture Packs, and mods on Skyrim Basic/Non-Legendary Edition?

On PC, you’re golden.* Especially with the vanilla version of Skyrim. Reasons!Legendary comes equipped with the DLCs, vanilla doesn’t. That’s because vanilla and the DLCs already existed before a package of “vanilla, DLCs, legendary mode” called Legendary Edition came into existence. Buy the DLCs and you’re fine. There are far more mods that won’t clash with vanilla Skyrim than legendary Skyrim. That’s because, as stated, vanilla is a lot older than legendary, so mod creators had a lot more time to make mods for vanilla, oblivious of the fact that a Legendary Edition would one day go to market. That being said: Consult the Read Me. Always. Consult. The Read Me. Mod creators usually (imperative word) include any and all incompatibilities they know about in the Read Me. It pays to crack down on the excitement, pull out the sniper breathing, and calmly and attentively read that file.Texture Packs are mods too. Roughly the same rules apply, starting with: Read the Read Me. If you are ever having problems getting the textures of a texture pack you installed to work, there are three go-to culprits: File name, file path, file date. The original textures are packaged, and the idea is that the files you install on your computer, mirroring the folder structure you’ll find in the package, are a) of the same name, b) in the right place, and c) newer—and so will be prioritized by the game over the packaged ones. Otherwise there is absolutely no reason why you should have to worry about not-working texture packs. In general, vanilla Skyrim is a good pick. Legendary Skyrim is the one that makes clashes with mods more likely.* It’s the platform with the best mod support, by far. If you said “Skyrim mods on PC” out loud in a cave, your grandchildren would hear the echo.
