So The Other Day I Drank A Bottle Of Habenero Tabasco

Tabasco Sauce, or OTHER hot sauce?

I used to use Tabasco, until I discovered Louisiana Hot Sauce. Much much better. And in a pinch I have a bottle of Frank's for a substitute. Both make some excellent buffalo wing sauce!

I put my habanero peppers in my juicer and it made me some great hot chili juice. Is it safe to use? How can I considerably extend its shelf life?

As Robert Rister writes, your problem is going to be with bacterial (or fungal) contamination. Pure crushed peppers will spoil and spoil quickly, even if refrigerated. You can, as he suggests, can/bottle your product by essentially pasteurizing or sterilizing it with heat. This does change the flavor necessarily, but you may find that unobjectionable. An alternative is to use traditional preservatives like vinegar and/or salt. This is what's done with products like Tabasco-brand hot sauces. The acetic acid in vinegar will prevent most bacterial or fungal growth. A high salt content will as well. Again, either of these will alter the taste. It's up to you to decide what changes are acceptable and which are not.Keeping your product sealed (to prevent oxidation) and out of the light (to prevent degradation) are also of critical importance.

Is it okay to drink hot sauce?

Franks Red Hot Sauce is hardly hot. It is more vinegar than hot pepper. It is fine if you feel you must drink it. it tastes good. It is 0 calories. It has a no nutitional value at all. It may cause gastric problems or hurt exiting. Good Luck. Try Doing it with Habenero Tabasco Sause. I triple dog dare you!!

Hot sauce to induce labor?

Babies come when babies are ready.

Hot sauce ONLY works if your body is ready for labor. If it is not then all you are going to do is give yourself some painful contractions and you'll probably get the runs all day long.

You have to remember that only 5% of babies are born on their due date and that a due date is based off of your LMP, when you didn't get pregnant. You ovulated 10 - 14 days after that date, hence why lots of babies are 10 - 14 days "late"

If you REALLY want to try it then do so, but you'll probably kick yourself later for it. Best thing to do is walk. Gravity makes the baby sit lower into your pelvis making your cervix soften making you dilate... making you go into labor.
