What are the biggest joke majors in your opinion?
I find some of these major questions by high school and college students risible. Many ask about he benefits or the "fun" about some major with no real value and then complain when they don't get a job because they don't like "science and math". Disclaimer: I am an Applied Math and Electrical Engineering dual major with a minor in Economics (boat load of A.P and took community college classes in high school to knock out credits) My list of biggest joke/rip off majors (I hope you young students a paying attention) No order. Psychology Sociology English Art History Music Theater History Humanities Certain foreign languages (Spanish and mandarin are exceptions in my opinion) Anything that ends in "Therapy" Physical Fitness Religion Women Studies Political Science International Relations Business Admin. Fashion Dishonorable Mention: Computer Science (many of the jobs are being exported - sorry) There are more can't think of them. It's starting to get really pathetic seeing people majoring in something with little to no demand and then complain about not getting a job. It's also prevalent in grad schools such as all the people that go to third tier law schools. The legal profession is being partially automated and a lot of attorneys are becoming less necessary.
In your opinion, what is humanity's biggest problem?
There are many big problem in the mankind and also problem which , now is not an major issue or problem but in coming future that will cause a lot of problems. The biggest problem that mankind is facing is instability around all the corner of world. In west there USA and NATO nations are up against the Russian and his allies like china. In sub continent there is always a tussle going between India and Pakistan regarding the Kashmir issue.China also have border related issue with India.Few month earlier there was a situation of cold war between Russia and USA.And in feb there was high tension between the India and Pakistan after pulwama terror attack.These kind of situation can led to any kind of war. All the above nations have nuclear power so if any kind of war started between them then there is huge possiblity of a nuclear war. Nuclear war lead to lost of many lives.The other major problem is of terrorisim. Many countries are fighting hard against terrorisim and suffering from it from many years.
In your opinion, what were the biggest problems created by the industrial Revolution?
mass education has been the biggest issue. I dont mean to sound harsh but - the less you know the more content you are. The poor didnt really know they were THAT poor until some smart man thought lets educate EVERYONE and then the poor realised - hold on... whose this person who gets a golden carriage and i get too worn out shoes.... and then you got social unrest - crime increased yadda yadda... thats one take.. most people today will say "pollution' but they fail to realise that earth goes through cycles an that whislt we humans pollute alot we dont have the power to re-order magnetic cycles or weather patternbs :)
What, in your opinion, is the biggest obstacle or threat facing the United States government at the moment?
The United States government's biggest obstacle is itself. Politics in the U.S. has been reduced to name-calling and propaganda. It's just a big game, where both teams are so focused on winning and making the other look bad they don't realize or care that they're not looking into the best interests of their team, the other team, and all the spectators anymore, and they are now just playing a silly childish game that's going to lead nowhere but to the game being called off eventually. That's two party politics for you. Honestly. Inter-party relations is ridiculously hostile. More so now than it's ever been. 20% of the nation has 80% of the nation's wealth. Every other time in history it's been like this there's been a revolution. It's ignorance that's stopped ours so far, and the government can fix it if gets over itself and starts caring about the people again. Common sense and a slightly above average sense of moral dignity in our political officials can save us all. Amazing how most seem to completely lack it, no?
