Someone Explain The Video

Can Someone Explain this music video to me?

Adam Gontier wrote the song about his wife who was molested wen she was younger. Her parents have bandaids over their eyes because they are blind to what is happening to their daughter. The man has black handprints to show that he had been touching her the wrong way. Adam also gave the idea for the video...so i think that the man with wings represent him saving his wife from this man and showing her that its not too late....Actually the woman in the video is his wife in real life so go figure

How would you explain video games to someone from 100 years ago?

Maybe it’s like a theatre play with puppets of which you control some and others are controlled by a thinking machine. The machine also changes the background and props depending on the current situation. Somehting like that.

How would you explain your favorite video game to someone who has never heard or played of it before?

My favorite game of all time is Legend of Zelda Ocarina Of Time for n64. I would explain it like this:You play as an orphaned child who one day gets a visit by a fairy that calls him to the great Deku tree, a mystical intelligent tree who lives deeper in the forest. He tells you a great evil has stricken the land and it turns out it’s up to you to save the world of Hyrule. After you defeat the evil inside of the Deku tree, he sends you on a quest to gather all of the sages of time, as it will ensure the resolution of the evil at hand. Over the course of play, you will eventually open the seal in the temple of time and the evil Ganondorf will take advantage of this moment and steal the Triforce as you do. Once you have the power of all of the sages, you’ll be able to get to Ganon and defeat him once and for all. Knowing myself, I’d probably ramble on about it for much longer but I didn’t want to write an entire book here. The key is to be descriptive, which is slightly easy for me because I do reviews of obscure, small games like vr troopers for game gear and to do reviews you have to write at least 10 minutes of content which isn’t the easiest thing to do for a simple 2d fighting game. Hope this helps!

Could someone explain to me how a live video or an audio broadcast works online? Is there any lag between what is happening real-time on the broadcast and what influences this lag?

The video from the transmission suite goes to the encoder. The encoder makes 5–8 different encodes at different bandwidths, this is needed because everyone has different quality connections and you have to make something for everyone, the player can pick the best stream that their connection can handle. From the encoder those streams probably go to a packager which prepares them for delivery. If you don't have DRM then you can just get the encoder to output HLS, but if you need DRM then you need at least three different packaging formats: HLS with Fairplay DRM, DASH with Widevine and Microsoft Smooth Streaming with PlayReady. This is because everyone has proprietary DRM systems, Apple doesn't share a common standard, Google has their own DRM and Microsoft's DRM is widely available on a wide range of devices including smart TVs and consoles. The packager then serves the stream in segments/fragments which are basically where the stream is broken into chunks a few seconds long. These systems won't serve directly to users, it would overload the packager to have thousands or hundreds of thousands of parallel requests. So you use a CDN, where a company like Akamai, Level3 or Limelight fetches the segments from the origin and shares them with all the users. The CDN may have several layers of caching to balance the load. The players fetch the segments from the CDN and buffer them to deal with network connectivity variations. Then it will decode the video and display the output.

Can someone explain the video "Hate Me" by Blue October?

You have to watch it several times to really get it. This is my take, His mom stood by him all his life no matter what he did, drugs etc..., and she leaves a message for him on the phone checking on him, she then dies and he never gets a chance to talk to her again. He's saying I would rather she hate me than for me to hurt her with all my bad behavior and making her worry his whole life.

Can someone explain the Lovebug music video by the Jonas Brothers?

Here's what I got from it:
the kids (I'm guessing grand kids of the guy sleeping) take out an old photo album and look at the pictures of their grandparents when they were younger, which turns into a flashback of them being on a boat and being in love and most of the video just shows them in love. They buy a house together and are all happy, but then the guy gets drafted to go to war, which is a sad separation, because he could very well die.
The girl gives him her ribbon to remember her by, and it gives him comfort. And you see him writing to her and stuff. And then the red light goes and you think it's going to be bad news, but the end it shows a picture of them together and the ribbon in the album, showing that he made it out alive and they were reunited and could live happily ever after (and they put the ribbon in the photo album because it's what connected them when they were apart).
I hope this helps!

Can someone explain ed sheeran's 'give me love' music video please?

Basically, the main girl is supposed to be Cupid. She goes around shooting people with her bow and arrow making them fall in love. She wants love too. So she stabs herself with an arrow, killing her. Then as the police arrive the arrow dissapears and she awakens to a man standing over her...which I'm presuming is the person that she falls in love with. Hope I helped

Can someone explain me the video "from yesterday" (30 seconds to mars)?

It probably is somehow related to politics and the power the leader of a country has. or how a soldier see's so much because he travels around the world fighting for a cause, even though he may not know wat it is. If you watch the full length video the kid emperor is asked wat he wants for his birthday, the kid answers in chinese but there is not translation unlike the other chinese dialogue that had translation. a cousin of mine who can speak chinese said it roughly translates to "the light of tommorow" or something like that along the lines of seeing the future. and i guess the future was people fighting? and 30stm incorporated themselves into the song. as for the three women and the ghost like lady and the guy whipping himself, they prolly represent the power the emperor has and punishment for sin? it was a really good music video btw
