Can someone help me with my English name? My Chinese name is 马静怡, which is "Chingi" in Wade-Giles romanization, But "Chingi" sounds quite strange. Can some native speakers help me to make "Chingi" sound more beautiful?

I agree that “Chingi” is less than desirable: it seems too close to the insulting word “Ch..nk”. Nitpicking detail: in Wade-Giles 靜怡 is spelled Ching Yi.If you want to keep a romanized name, perhaps you could use tonal spelling (GR, Gwoyeu Romatzyh), Maa Jinqyi. This spelling has mnemonic value for any curious foreigner who wants to pronounce your name correctly:Maa: the -aa- stands for 3rd tone (the hollowed-out bottoms are a reminder that this is the lowest and longest of all tones)Jinq: the hollow last stroke of the -q- implies that 4th tone is short and abruptly fallingYi: the hollow second stroke of the -y- is reminder that this is a rising tone. There is no real conflict with Hanyu Pinyin: the GR form can just be your nickname.Otherwise, Gabrielle Martin has provided several usable suggestions (to which I would add “Jenny”). The only problem with many of these names is that they are a dime a dozen (much too common). If you want to stand out from thousands and thousands of other mainlanders with very similar Hanyu Pinyin names and be easily remembered, however, the GR spelling would be a good choice.

Help! Can someone help me with my english project about "Flowers for Algernon"?

I think because when he actually does get smarter, he ends up becoming sadder than he was to begin with. The simple things that made him happy before he tried the medicine ended up being too simple for his pleasure afterward. Then after the therapy wears off, he ends up being less smart that he was to begin with. So the whole experience that was supposed to make him happier ended up making him sadder overall.

I kinda BS'd that one, but that makes sense to me.

Can someone help me translate this ? (Hebrew to English)

It’s kind of weird. Chapters 7 and 8 of Isaiah 56 read:7. Even them will I bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon Mine altar; for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.8. Saith the Lord GOD who gathereth the dispersed of Israel: Yet I will gather others to him, beside those of him that are gathered. The top three lines are the bold words in verse 7 and the bottom line (between the two Jewish stars) is the bold words in verse 8. The choice seems to have been made by someone who is not at all familiar with the Hebrew Bible. It’s also a rather strange quote to put on a synagogue…..

How do I find someone to help me translate an English phrase into Hebrew?

Can someone help me translate this from English to a different language?

I would like to get a tattoo that says 'In the name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit or Ghost.' I would like to get this tattooed in a different language, preferably Latin or Gaelic, or perhaps Slovenian since they are all part of my heritage. I took Latin in high school because I always thought it was a beautiful language when spoken but I don't remember enough to translate it properly. And can you also please identify which language you are translating it into? Thank you so much for your help.

Can someone help me find the english sub for the movie "Waruboro" please? Thanks?

Lynn, this Japanese comedy has it's own website (but of course it's in Japanese).
I can only suggest you go to a dvd retail outlet and make enquiries there.
They will be able to advise you of it's availability and whether it has English subtitles.
