Someone Reopened An Email Account I Had Closed Out And Is Impersonating Me. What Can Be Done About

Can i catch someone who made an email to impersonate me?

yes.
You can easily make it stop.
Catching/ tracking is pretty easy if you can put some work into it. It may require involving the police or a lawyer.
First:
contact the abuse dept of the ISP ( like abuse@yahoo.com, abuse@aol.com, etc..)
tell them that " your subscriber, using email address XXXXX@isp.com - is (harassing) ( defaming) ( cyber-stalking) ( posting illegal / immoral content).. whatever.. " ...against your terms of service. Additionally, my name happens to resemble the email address, so I am personally being harmed by this activity. I therefore request that you: (options)
- immediately disable this user account and do not restore it
- disable it and preserve any logs you have; the police have been involved - will be involved - my lawyer will be in contact...
- disable the account, and immediately make your logs available to (law enforcement or my attorney) at email address.com..
... you get the idea.

If you really want to track down this person - find every posting and email you can - go back to the providers ( who runs the board, who posted the email last.. ) and ask them for log information, particularly logs that are on dates XXX--XXX at/about times YYY-YYY pertaining to transactions involving this Username (bad.guy.email.com) and any related IP or protocol information.

You might want a lawyer to send this.. or if there was something illegal done, like posting pix or threats.. get the cops involved (parents, too if you are not adult).

If you get IP address.. you can then go back to that service provider and again you or the person with power (cop / lawyer) asks/ demands the ISP provides information about such -and such IP, user.. at this particular time window +/- an hour.
That's the profesional way..

poor man's way, and not so exact - see if there are any words this person uses over and over.. any peculiar phrase, or a mis-spelled word repeatedly. Then use google or your favorite search provider to see if anyone else has the same patterns. Usually this is somebody who you know/ or at least have met online.

I had someone write me a check on a closed account?

What they have done is a felony, and if you want your money tell them that they better give it to you NOW or you are going to the police. Otherwise just report it, and hope the judge orders restitution before he send them to jail.

Someome is impersonating me on myspace?

That's terrible. I found someone with my very unusual name- first and last. I found a number for them and called it, stating that I have this name. The person who answered said "Oh sh**!" and hung up. I called the police and they said it wasn't against the law unless this person was committing crimes or ruining my credit. Hmmm. Obviously they were doing something wrong, but there isn't anything I can do. Still, I advise you to go to the police and alert ALL your myspace friends. Have your friends check out this person and maybe even bash them.

How to reopen partially closed piercings?

Your piercing hole may be clogged up with dead skin cells that have come off the skin inside your piercing hole. Ask someone to help you get the earring through your ear because they will be in a better position than you to see what is happening. Coat the post on your earring with Vaseline or something similar so it will slide through your ear easier. Have the person who is helping you locate the hole on the back of your ear and then put the tip ends of two fingernails on either side of the hole. Have them hold the earring in their other hand and gently push it through your ear from the front. The fingernails on the back will keep the back of your ear from stretching back so it will be easier for the ea ring to push out whatever is blocking your hole. If this does not work, try reversing everything and putting the earring in from the back of your ear so you can push whatever is blocking your hole out the front of your ear. Then as soon as the post comes out the front of you ear you can remove it and easily put it in from the front in the normal way.

If you have to take your earrings out regularly for cheer leading or any other reason, put them back in as soon as possible and wear them as much as you can. Sleep with small stud earrings every night to help keep your holes open. In the morning, clean your ears and turn your earrings without removing them just as you did when your ears were first pierced.

How do I know if someone blocked my emails on Gmail?

With respect to previous answers, Google now supports blocking emails, but it doesn't work like the method to blocking via something like a messaging service.  When someone blocks your email, when you send the email it goes straight to their spam box.  Most GMail users will never know to even look for it unless they're actively searching for it.  After the email has sat in their spam box for 30-days, it's then deleted.  This ultimately means unless they went searching through the Spam box looking for the email, they'll have no clue you even emailed them.  And on your side, you'd have NO idea IF you're blocked or even if the user has even noticed your email.  The second way of blocking is by using GMails built-in filters.  In short, the user sets instructions as to what to do when emails are received meeting a certain set of user defined parameters.  Actions can be anything from auto mark as read, automatically delete, move to another folder, in short anything the user defines.  That being said, in this case, unless the user sets an auto-reply, again you will never know you've been blocked.  Block unwanted emails Gmail has a new 'block sender' option Google's Gmail finally adds the ability to block email, but there's a better way

Can someone create an email using my IP?

Google logs indicate the email was sent from your IP.Either it was sent from your IP, or it wasn’t.Google would be unlikely to be fooled by a fake IP, as spoofing doesn’t work well over HTTPS or whatever (likely secured) method was used to send the email. So, the email was likely sent by the IP identified as yours. Either the ISP that linked your name to the IP give by Google made an error, or it came from your Internet connection. If it came from your internet connection without your permission, either someone accessed your computer without your knowledge, or someone accessed your network without your knowledge. Is your WiFi secure? Are your computer safety practices good?

Can Capital One reopen my line of credit?

I'm angry and don't know what to do.

I have my first and only credit card with Capital One. I got it last summer. I had a balance of $430 on it. I split the payments up into three for February, March, and April, that way I could pay it off before the summer. I arranged payment and the method of payment was approved and cleared.

Then at the end of May, I noticed I couldn't access my online account. So I called and Capital one informed me that my line of credit had been closed due to failure to make payment. I'm upset bc they never notified me (via phone call or email or otherwise) that my payments had not gone through. I had assumed that they had... I always have money in my account and to my knowledge, they had the correct routing number and all of my current banking information.

I spoke to them on the pone yesterday and they said there was a note on the account that I had arranged payment, but not for how much... I have a case worker and she believed me but she couldn't transfer me to another claims department due to a high volume of calls and they have yet to call me back after two days! Even when I told them that I can pay the balance in full TODAY.

It's ust upsetting because I recently applied for the Target credit card and I got rejected- now I know why. I'm just upset because now that this line of credit ha been shut down I won't be able to open another one...

Is there any way that when I do speak with someone at capital One that they will be able to help me? Can they reopen my line of credit since this whole thing is their fault? I've always made payments on time in the short time I've had the card and this is all truly unfair. Plus, I'm offering to pay it all up front... I'm trying to do the honest thing. Will they help me and give me my credit back?

Wells Fargo closed my checking account due to overdrafts. What happens from here? I am willing to pay.?

that happen to my husband when he was single. He got an account with a different bank. i had a wells fargo account and could not get him in because he had close his account but they never really closed it so when he came back from deployment he was send to chexsystems. we went to his bank and pay off the amount at the bank and got a letter from them first before paying, saying that they would remove it from chexsystems a week later he was out of the system.

make sure that any deals made first come with a letter stating that upon payment they will remove it from chexsystems, pay with money order or someone who writes you a check and make sure you have copies of payment so that you can fight it off later if they don't without a promise of removal upon payment the collection agency can sell your account to someone else and not remove it, protect yourself.

good luck.
