I have daily access to talk with someone who speaks Arabic. How can I learn it in about two years?

I think that learning arabic is easy not difficult (not because i am Arabian :D)Like any language you want learn you must study the basics but actually you will study more harder . So i will tell you how to learn Arabic by few steps if you take it seriously you will just take 1 year to be a good speaker.Learn the basics : The Digits,Letters, some light and known Vocabulary and try to spell the unknown letters like Kh خ you can hear it from Google.make a sentences : After you learn thr basics and some Vocabulary you start to connect the words to each other and make a sentences.Start conservation with Arabian : The two previous steps is sort of academic but this step not and it's very easy in our age especially you have Arabian people that you can parctice with them and it's very usfel beacuse we born and talked our language without any teacher its the magic of practicing.Watch Arabic movies or hear Arabic songs : It makes you get used to hear the language and to low your stress about it and it will make you say correct pronunciation you can see a movie with translate caption then, arabic caption then no caption with hearing only these way will make you have a lot of Vocabulary.with these steps you will learn arabic faster and i think any language tooSorry about my English but i try to improve my grammar and this my first answer soI hope i helped you.

Does someone who speaks Modern Standard Arabic in all conversations instead of regional dialect sound weird?

Yes, they sound weird. If you aren't a native Arabic speaker, it's okay to speak in modern standard Arabic. That's totally fine.If you are a native Arabic speaker, people will ask you: “Why do you speak like that? Why don't you speak normally? What's the matter with you?”You can learn more dialect Arabic by visiting my channel on YouTube. After watching some lessons, you will realize that Arabic is not as hard as you thought. I teach Arabic in a very easy, simple and funny way. I use jokes, stories and songs. Give it a try and you are welcome to my channel: http://HTTP://www.youtube.com/c/MichaelGeorgearabic
