Someone Write Me A Poem About Icecream

How does it feels to write a poem for someone?

You imagine that person as you put each word down, honing the tone to be just right, shifting words, searching for just the right one. Read it once, twice, a million times trying to imagine how that person will look as she's reading it. How she will react. How she will feel. If she will understand more than just the words, but be able to read down to the intent, to the essence of the meaning. You're hesitant, uncertain of your certainty, certain of your uncertainty, confused by your own feelings burbling within, but if you know each word is true despite not being adequate enough to say what you mean. Then the fear dissipates and you entrust your thoughts with another. Does she know how much of yourself you infused in each word? Can she understand what you are trying to say? Then the payoff: comprehension. Knowing your heart's depth, your mind's reach, she acknowledges what you are saying. . . and perhaps there will be waves of joy or the undertow of disappointment. But if you have delivered your truth, if you have done so without expectations, if the words are now released from the cage of your mind, perhaps now you will find more than just joy or sorrow or contentment or promise. Perhaps you will find your own heart's peace.

How does it feel when someone writes a poem for you?

I don't know how it feels when someone writes a poem for you.And this is because no one had ever written a poem for me.But yes I've written many poems for someone I like and someone my friend likes.I still remember the day when one of my friend came to me and said “Bhai ek poem likh de apni bhabhi ke liye” (Brother please write a poem for my girlfriend ). On that day I wrote a poem for someone whom I don't know. But yes it was an amazing experience, writing for someone whom you’d never seen in face to face or other than the photographs. But yes I can guess how someone feels,One feels special. One feels how the other person is connected to you.It cause butterflies in your stomach. It feels out of the world.I'm attaching few of my poems.Attached a few for you, but there is much more to go :)Sorry I didn't found thatpoem which I've written for my “Bhabhi” .But I'll attach it as soon as I find it :)You can also catch me on Instagram.S U M I T S I N G H Y A D AV (@a.musing.bard) • Instagram photos and videosThank You :)

Has anyone ever written poetry for you?

Noone had written poetry on me but i have a one for my friend equals to BROTHER!!:-)[math]BEST FRIEND[/math]( Ankit this is only for you)You are my best friend, you belong in my heart,We go through ups and downs, but still nothing can tear us apart.I know you as a brother, and I will always care,Love, respect, and trust are the things we share.I know you as a person, I especially know you as a friend,Our friendship is something that will never end.Right now, this second, this minute, this day,Our brotherhood is here, is here to stay.My friendship with you is special and true,When we are together, we stick like glue. When I'm in the darkness that need some light,When you're by my side, I know things are all right. Our friendship is so strong, it breaks down bars,Our friendship is also bright, like the sun and the stars. If we were in a competition for friendships, we would get a gold,Because responsibility and cleverness are the keys we hold.I met you as a stranger, took you as a friend,I hope our long friendship will never end.Our friendship is like a magnet, it pulls us together,Because no matter where we are, our friendship will last forever!END-

What are some tips for writing a conceit poem?

In the following, the second definition of conceit may surprise you, (as it did me.con·ceitkənˈsēt/noun1.excessive pride in oneself."he was puffed up with conceit"synonyms:vanity, narcissism, conceitedness, egotism, self-admiration, self-regard; More2.a fanciful expression in writing or speech; an elaborate metaphor."the idea of the wind's singing is a prime romantic conceit"synonyms:image, imagery, metaphor, simile, trope;Right...so definition #2 seems to me to be more about conceit for the reason that it is about 'fanciful expression' and poetry is - arguably - fanciful by default.Let's see if we can combine that notion with an understanding of 'excessive pride.'Where do we draw the line, or the fuzzy line, dividing pride and excessive pride? It is not prideful to say that 'ice cream is great.'  It is prideful to say that 'ice cream is the best dessert.'It is excessively prideful - perhaps - to say that people who don't believe that ice cream is the best dessert are twisted and evil. And - to use more fanciful language in a poetic form:O' how it thrills that something coldSo warms our hearts despite its chillsOur nature; contrast seeks and everywhere this our tongues do pique not immature. For youngest children doth savor gladlyand weak souls madly deprive; uncouth.

Simile for Ice Cream?

as smooth as silk
as cold as a winter day
eating my favorite ice cream is like a dream come true
indulging in my favorite flavor is like a dream come true
cone piled high with mounds of ice cream as large as round mountains
cone piled as high as they sky

My boyfriend wrote me this poem, what does it mean?

I like you kind of, like I kind of like ice cream
Your smile looks like the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland
The only difference is that you are my Queen
And I'll never have to wonder about your land

You taste like a gummybear and you are gummy like one too
Your eyes are different shades of blue
Your best friend is hot but not as hot as you
Her face is square like Pinocchio on drugs
Yours is circular like a puffy cloud

I love you I'm going to marry you and take you away
Never cry on a sunny day
You make me laugh and sometimes excited in pants
Will you dance with me tonight?

** WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?? I dont get it... does he love me?? I dont know!!!! I am analyzing it and its so confusing!!! he wrote it on a postcard of a picture of a small dog with the words "PEACH OLIVE" on it....
