Something is wrong with my charger port?

It just happen randomly. One day the laptop is flickering from Battery Mode to A/C Mode constantly, but it would settle at times. Later I had to jiggle the power cord the right way, to get it to charge properly and not run off the battery. And no amount of jiggle will get it to constantly charge anymore. Now, I literally have to shove the cord in the port(as if something is stuck in it and I just need to be a tiny bit more to reach the connection). Today, I just put the plug in and let the laptop just sit on top of it so I can charge it.

Is it shot or is it something else that Im missing?

TL;DR
My laptop charger wont charge unless I push against it while it's in its port. What do I do?

There's something wrong with my phone?

I'm charging it like I'm supposed to
this is my second Verizon Samsung galaxy s3 after the first incident which is happening to my second one
I got a new battery but I always have to turn my phone off when I have to charge it just in case so the battery will cool but it's not charging like it's suppose to
it's slowly charging and dying fast
even if I have it on the charger it still dies
I don't understand and it's not the battery or the charger input area and I've gone through multiple chargers to see if it'll work but that's not it either
We don't get a new upgrade till next year and we just got these last year
wtf I don't understand this and I can't afford another one cause they'll charge us for the 3rd replacement if this one screws up

What is wrong with my phone charger?

I have a Sprint Palm Pre smart phone and recently when I use my charger, my phone glitches, freezes, and won't charge. I use my mom's charger (same phone) or anyone else's since it seems like it's all the same charger nowadays. It's not my phone because every other charger I use works with my phone just fine. Is it the wiring inside my charger...?
And my car charger just got stolen, so if I have to, I can buy both if I must.

Fanks (:

What's wrong with my laptop charger?

I have a Gateway MT6451 laptop - it's almost 3 years old, and runs smoothly with Windows Vista.

About 6 months ago, I started encountering a problem with my charger. At certain random points, while I'm using the computer, the computer will not recognize the charger and will switch to battery.

This wouldn't be too bad, but then it'll "re-discover" the charger and flip back on a second later (accompanied with a screen flicker). The next second, it's lost the charger, but then it repeats all over again. This could go on once or twice, or it can last an hour. The strobe effect is disconcerting.

I check the cord, make sure everything is connected properly, try different outlets, and nothing seems to change. Rather, if I change outlets, the laptop seems to get worse, constantly flickering or not even recognizing the charger for longer periods of time.

I'd think there was something wrong with the charger. However! 100% of the time, the second I shut down and the OS turns off, the laptop recognizes the charger and it properly charges up to 100%. This makes me wonder if it's a software problem and I don't want to buy a new charger if the same thing is going to happen.

Any advice or solutions would be appreciated.

My phone sometimes gets hot while charging and sometimes not. Why does that happen?

Your phone will always have a temperature rise while charging but sometimes it gets relatively hotter. The factors generally affecting this could be ;Background apps(more the number, more the heat)Wifi and mobile data( keeping them on makes the phone hotter)Location services being onPoor network signalNow if all the above cases are negative and still you find a disparity, this could be because of the following reasons ;The temperature of the surroundingAir flow and ventilation at the place your phone rests while chargingThe protective case being put onThe position in which you rest your phone( yeah, it makes a difference!!) resting your phones battery side up and screen side down heats up your phone a bit less as when done vice versa. And finally this could be the defect of your phone’s firmware, battery or due to the dust and moisture inside your phone. And if the problem persists and the screen is also getting hot, you should take it to a nearby service centre.

Why is my phone charger draining my battery?

If it is the original charger that came with the phone, then the charger might be faulty or the current is not enough. If the phone is old, then the battery is on it’s way to the grave. Buy yoursef a 5 volt 2.1 amp output usb/wall charger, that will solve any amp current problems. I recommend MP charger from streatham high road sw16.Ps. A charger does not drain a battery, any charge in a battery can be slowly lost when a charger is off and the + is attached to a circuit.Update: 08/04/2019. When a battery gets old and you are online with the screen on the battery will slowly lose charge because the phone is taking more current than the charger and battery can supply to charge and operate the phone at the same time. This happens to my phone and I have 2.4Ah battery. If you plug in a higher amp charger the problem should be solved. Minimum should be 1Amp charging current.Robert.

Nintendo DS Charger problem?

The battery could be leaking or something. Call Nintendo and complain!
