Windows 7 sound not working?

Why is the sound not working on my HP laptop?
There might be two reasons for that and they are:Your Audio Drive needs update.To update your audio Driver, go to Desktop, search for “My PC, This PC or My Computer”. Then, right click on it and select “Manage”. Then choose “Device Manager”>“Audio inputs and outpts”Click on it and update the driver. For this, you should have an internet connection.2. 2nd Possible Reason is that, you need to troubleshoot the Audio Settings on your HP laptop. You can check what is happening in it. For this, on the bottom right corner, you can see an audio speaker. Right click on it and do “Troubleshoot”.If there is no any problem with the audio driver, then, you need to change the new Speakers on your HP Laptop.
Sound quit working?
Make sure you connected the speaker to the right place. Also check your device manager if your sound card is detected. If it is not you can download the driver for it. I believe it has something to do with your configuration
My laptop sound isn't working ?
I have a HP Pavillion Entertainment PC , the white one.So maybe around the end of December , I muted my laptop and shut it down.The next day my laptop was muted [of course ] so I tried unmuting it. Nothing happen but the little sound button on my laptop screen says the sound is working and the mute button over the keyboard still has the orange light on [which means it's muted] I've tried every thing I can.Like sliding my hand across the bar so it works and turning of my laptop etc. It's driving me nuts now . Please help me with this !
The volume is not working on my pc...help!!?
First of all, Uninstall & reinstall your sound card drivers (comes with motherboard CD). Restart your PC! If it don't work, Go to Run, Type devmgmt.msc, a window of Device Manager will open. Right click Administrator (it could be your name too), Click 'Scan for hardware changes'. It may work now. If it don't work, then contact your nearest service centre. Note: Also check that you plug it into the Right Jack.
Why is the sound not working on my computer ?
go to "start", then go to "control panel", then go to "hardware and sound", then go to where you see the picture of a speaker and click "manage audio devices". make sure your audio device is being read and is working.
Sound not working on PC after Unplugging headset?
Hello, I bought a Logitech ClearChat Comfort USB Headset today, and after using it, and unplugging it, I've noticed that there is no sound on the videos I watch on Youtube, sounds from MSN however do work.. Whats wrong?
Youtube audio not working?
The sound from my computer is fine but when I go onto Youtube, DailyMotion, etc., to watch videos, the sound does not work. I do set the volume up for the videos so I know they are not muted, but there is still no sound. What do I do?
