Windows 7 sound not working?

Asus CM1630 audio not working (Windows 7)?
Last week my Asus CM1630 desktops' audio randomly stopped working. I tried downloading new audio drivers several times but to no avail. If I open the Audio Devices window while I'm say playing a song, there's a thing called "SPDIF Interface (TX0)" and it has an audio bar next to it that shows the sound is playing, and above that (I'm trying to use headphones) it says "ATI HDMI OUTPUT" then under that it says "Device not plugged in". Also whenever I plug my headphones in a window pops up that says "Audio device plugged in" ...how can I make the sound work? :(
Hp pavilion laptop dv7-1448dx sound not working after windows 7 upgrade..Help please!?
I upgraded to windows 7 and for some reason the sound won't work. I have a little sound bar that is touch screen at the top of the keyboard and the light shows the sound is off. Normally i'd touch it to turn it on, but it won't do anything. I checked if my drivers and things are enabled and they all are. I can plug headphones in and hear the audio, but nothing will come out of the speakers. I'd had troubles with the sound lately too but the sound still came out, so I don't know what to do...anyone know what I can do? I'm desperate!!
Sound on laptop not working?
Turned on my my acer windows 7 netbook and when I logged onto spotify music wouldn't play because there was 'a problem with sound card'. i thought it was just a problem with spotify, so i tried youtube and no luck. i tried taking out my earphones and turning the volume right up. no luck. i've restarted my computer too. i also researched it and tried copying and pasting some code into 'run..' and clicked on 'sounds video and game controllers' > 'realtek high definition audio' > 'this device is working properly. it doesn't make sense, what's wrong? also, don't say anything stupid like 'are you sure it's not on mute?' -.-
Netflix sound stopped working on my computer... help?
Aside from the obvious question of asking if you have the volume turned down or muted in Netflix itself, what's probably happened is you have turned down the volume for your browser. In the system tray, click the volume icon and click Mixer. Make sure that the volume for your browser (IE Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome) is turned all the way up. I'm assuming you have sound in other applications, and just not in netflix? Do you have sound in Youtube? My suggestions are, try Netflix in another browser, and uninstall Flash Player and reinstall it. If that doesn't work, try launching your browers in safe mode or disabling addons. Finally, verify your speakers are plugged in! I wouldn't be a Dell guy if I didn't tell people to make sure something was plugged in right?! Lol :)
I just upgraded to Windows 10 and the audio is not working on my laptop. How can I fix that? Do I need to install audio drivers again?

the speakers were working fine before i formatted the windows 7 OS however after i rebooted the pc again to windows 7, the problem arose. :( CMI8738 /C3DX PCI Audio Device. thats the driver i am using . Spk 1 is working fine .but Spk 2 and centre is not. please help me with this thing.
Sound card on an Asus M4A78-EM motherboard not working with Windows 7. How can i fix this?
I went to the Asus site and downloaded the new drivers for Windows 7 64 bit, uninstalled the old drivers, rebooted, installed the new drivers, rebooted, but to no success. Should i just buy a cheap 10 dollar sound card to replace it?
