What are good books similar to The Clifton Chronicles by Jeffrey Archer that take you through thrilling ups and downs in a person's life?

Kane and Abel and The fourth estate by Jeffery archer are of the same theme. But if you are looking for a different author,go for Sidney Sheldon's Bloodline. The plot of rags to riches is followed in most of his  novels. You could also read his master of the game. Its even better than some books of THE Clifton Chronicles...

I want to read fiction books which book I should start with?

First you need to decide what genre you want to read, and there are plenty of genres. There are numerous authors and they are all fantastic at what they do.If you are the kind of person who gets bored easily, maybe pick an action oriented book by authors like Jeffery Archer, John Grisham, David Baldacci,If Fantasy is more your cup of tea, you’re in luck. You get to read the Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Percy Jackson Series, The Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer. If you cannot resist a good puzzle, maybe you should explore the Suspense genre. Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple by Agatha Christie, Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mary Higgins Clark are some of your options. For Humour, P. G. Wodehouse, Calvin and Hobbes, The Diary of a Wimpy Kid, A Hitchhikers Guide Through the Galaxy, Confessions of a Shopaholic, The Devil Wears PradaWhen you want to improve your literary knowledge, always select a classic, The Count of Monte Cristo or The Three Musketeers by Alexander Dumas, Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain, Pollyanna by Eleanor H. Potter, David Copperfield, Kidnapped, Oliver Twist, Around the World in Eighty Days. When you prefer an attempt at answering existential questions like “What is the Meaning of Life?” etc, Amitav Ghosh, or Paulo Coelho.Picking a book by Nobel laureates is also an option, but if you are a newbie reader I wouldn’t recommend them.

Did anyone before Jesus offer eternal life or paradise to the common man?

If anyone else offered that it would be a false promise. Jesus Christ is the ONLY one to be crucified, buried and resurrected for us to be able to inherit eternal life. There is so much hard evidence that shows the resurrection was real. There are just some people who choose not to accept any of it. Watch the movie, "The Case for Christ." This is based on the true story of a man who was relentless about trying to disprove Jesus's resurrection. You can hear what both sides say and form your own conclusion.

Do I pull the trigger on the trade?

I want to start being called by my middle name, because it sounds more professional.?

I am in college, and my first name just sounds too boyish. but my middle name, "Jay" is more professional. I could sign my name with "Jay" then my last name. Is this legal? (I am sure it is, since it is already my name, just as long as I continue to write with my middle name and not switch from my first name to my middle name frequently) But I am talking about permently changing my name to my middle name for business purposes. Can I do this, or do I have to go through court and change my name and all that paperwork mess?

Dez Bryant for Alshon Jeffery?

I'd rather have Jeffery who is healthy, playing well and has his starting QB. Bryant will be playing with Cassel when Bryant is ready to play.

What's a great novel or writer to read?

A few of my favourite authors are:- Isabel Allende (fiction with some magical realism)- Jorge Luis Borges (if you like Vonnegut, you will love him. I think he wrote mostly short stories)- Simon R. Green (light, fun high fantasy, urban fantasy and space opera. My favourite of his books is "Blue Moon Rising", but I also love his Nightside series and his Deathstalker series)- IF you like horror, S. P. Somtow (really good, but quite gory at times)- Neil Gaiman (though you've probably read him already!)- Carlos Ruis Zafon (fiction with some mystery & magical realism; translated from Spanish)- Miriam Toews (general fiction)- Alice Walker (general fiction)- Jo Treggiari (young adult fantasy)- Gael Baudino (high fantasy and urban fantasy; long out of print, sadly, but you can often find her stuff at libraries and used bookstores)- Diana Wynne-Jones (YA fantasy; she wrote "Howl's Moving Castle")- Tamora Pierce (YA fantasy, start with her Alanna series)- Lois McMaster Bujold (high fantasy and space opera. I LOVED her "The Curse of Chalion", and the sequels were also quite good)- Scott Westerfeld (YA fantasy and steampunk)- Curtis Sittenfeld (general fiction; "Prep" is my favourite of hers so far)- Peter Blauner (crime thrillers; I started with "Slow Motion Riot" and thought it was really good)- Natsuo Kirino (psychological thrillers, translated from Japanese; "Out" was good, but I adored "Grotesque")- Khaled Hosseini (general fiction; my favourite is "The Kite Runner")- Ellen Hopkins (YA about kids with issues such as drug addiction, written as free verse)- Tom Robbins (on the cusp of magical realism and fantasy, at least in "Jitterbug Perfume")- Michael Cunningham (general fiction with fantasy elements)- Junot Diaz (general fiction. If you haven't read "The Brief, Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao" yet, it's brilliant)- Courtney Summers (general YA with a refreshingly believable voice)- Joey Comeau (slightly experimental fiction)I hope this gives you some ideas! :)

Trade Eddie Lacy and Jordan Reed for Brandon Marshall and Lamar Miller?

This week I picked Jordan Reed to go along with my two drafted tight ends, Jordan Cameron and Martellus Bennett. I prefer Cameron and Reed so I tried moving Bennett to a guy whose only TE is Jeff Cumberland. He rejected my Bennett trade but countered by offering me Marshall and Miller for Lacy and Reed. I really like Lacy as an insurance policy and a bye week fill in, but with two stud RBs already on my roster he might be worth giving up to upgrade my receivers. However my biggest concern is if either Forte or Lynch goes down I'd have to plug in Stacy as an every week RB2 which I'm not too thrilled by. Also Marshall might take a big hit with Cutler out for the next several weeks. Do you guys think I should take the offer? If it matters I am currently 5-2 and in 3rd place. 2nd place is also 5-2 and 1st place is 6-1. The team offering the trade is in 7th place at 4-3.
