Started Working Out And Need Help.

Is 26 too old to start working out?

I'd say that too late to lift weights and get big doesn't happen until about age 50. Then your testosterone is really down and it's harder to put on muscle. If you look at guys after age fifty, they kinda start to shrivel up a little. Their neck will get a bit thinner. They won't have that full look. This is because of low testosterone and not being able to keep on as much muscle as easily.

Even 40 isn't too late. A lot of guys start lifting in their early or mid forties, they hit middle age and want to keep their youth and vitality and look good and so they start lifting weights.

You're not even close to too old. Just right into it. Read up. There's lots to know. It's fun. Girls love it when you're in good shape too. And it helps with self confidence. Enjoy it. Lifting is great :)

Should i start working out? im 14?

I would think that you are ok to start working out. I believe the too young refers to people who have not yet entered puberty and it is not growth that gets stunted so much as too much muscle pulling on bones that have not yet got strong enough to hold the muscle.
Your body does need rest between workouts and so I would advise trying to set up a regime were you work the upper half of your body one day, then the lower half the next and take a day's break and then repeat that. So say upper on Monday, lower on Tuesday, nothing on Wednesday, upper on Thursday, lower on Friday and nothing over the weekend.
Also begin with doing lower weights for more reps rather than trying to push for the bigger weights. Working out is not a competition to see who can push the most. It is a system to gradually build the muscle tone of the body. Another thing that will help is to do keep fit and stamina exercises before pushing the weights. Like star jumps, crunches, running etc. start with about 20 minutes keep fit and then 20 minutes work out and gradually build to an hour of each per session.

How do I start working out?

I am 6'1" 150 pounds (im really skinny with long arms) and i don't know where to begin exercising. Should I get a gym membership or should i start out slow at home? and should i go to machines or free weights or cardio first? I would love to start working out but im confused about where to start bodybuilding.

I need a work out schedule ? Help!?

Work out each major muscle group once a week for adequate recovery, growth and strength gain. At least 5 sets, 6-12 reps a set. The weight should feel heavy, but your should be able to maintain good form. You can do anything together on any day. It's best to begin the workout week with larger muscles that take the most energy after you've rested.

An example of your split could be:

Sunday
Quads: Leg Extensions, Free Weight Squats. Hack Squats, 45 Degree Leg Press
Hamstrings: Stiff Legged Dead Lifts, Seated Leg Curls, Prone Leg Curls

Monday
Back: Wide Grip Pull Downs, Close Grip Pull Downs, Bent Over Dumbbell Rows, T-Bar Rows

Tuesday
Chest: Bench Press, Incline Dumbbell Press, Dumbbell Flies, Decline Dumbbell Press

Wednesday
Calves: Standing Calf Raise, Seated Calf Raise, Calf Press on Leg Press Machine
Abs: Decline Sit Ups, Crunches (on one of the big exercise balls), Hanging Leg Raises

Thursday
Shoulders: Seated Dumbbell Press, Military Press, Front Raises, Side Laterals, Shrugs

Friday
Biceps: Barbbell Curls, Seated Dumbbell Curls, Hammer Curls, Incline Dumbbell Curls
Triceps: Dips, Seated Overhead Dumbbell Tricep Extension, Skull Crushers, Tricep Pushdowns (on cable with upside down V grip)

Saturday
Rest

*Abs and calves take less time to recover, so you can ad more abs and calves to any day.
*A lot of quad exercises also work glutes and hamstrings
*A lot of bicep exercises also work forearms.

How does one start working out as a weak 15 year old?

Oh dude, just listen to what I have to say.I started working out around the time I turned 15. It’s been six months, and I’m in the best shape of my life. Seriously, I’ve gained 23 pounds of (mostly) muscle. In the beginning, I was PAINFULLY skinny. My dad once joked that I looked like a Holocaust Survivor. I had bones sticking out of my shoulders and hips, I had basically no meat on me.Now, I’ve made great progress. I’m still relatively skinny, but the results are amazing. I started working out and i now i started farting a lot!?!!?

Have you started taking protein supplements? That'll do it.

I started working out 5 weeks ago, i'm breaking out...?

Your system is trying to cleanse itself through your pores. You can help clean your system quickly to aid the natural process but don't take a laxative to do this. Take a day or two and drink a large bottle of prune juice. It isn't bad if it's really cold. This will naturally flush your intestinal track. Also, you can go the health store and pick up a purification system which will take up to a week to complete. You will really feel good and look great after cleansing your system this way. Also remember to take your vitamins.
I would do the prune juice first and with a couple of days in between, I would do the purification.
