Need to write a story asap HELP?
well I'm in a story competition, I got to write a chapter book, like those kids chapter books with 10 chapters, I got to write one in 5 days, and I can't think of ANYTHING, it's gotta be cool, not romance, romance is not allowed in the comp. Something like a kid getting there ears pierced, excitement, fun, adventure with a little bit of action and drama, it's gotta be a mixture of everything and it's gotta be so intresting that you can stretch the info out so it fits 10 chapters, if you have any ideas plz tell ASAP, I'm desperate for some help!! P.S. If your thinking I'm asking you to write me a story so I can win a competition, I'M NOT, just an idea!!

I need help with writing my story. What medical effects does being premature have on babies?
Both my sons were born prematurely. My eldest was born at 31 weeks and needed help with his breathing for about twelve hours but other than that he was medically fine, just dinky. My youngest was born at 28 weeks and he needed a lot of medical intervention. He was ventilated and given steroids and a synthetic lung lubricant to help with his breathing . He had antibiotics, feeding tubes a central line in and a line in his belly button to give venous access. During the first weeks of his life he was treated for sepsis and had some bleeding in his brain. It’s not quite as dramatic as it sounds - it’s quiet normal for neonatal to have this happen to them and in his case it wasn’t particularly serious. The doctors like to start giving them breast milk as soon as possible as it helps to prevent a certain tummy bug that preemies are prone to. After a few weeks he was put onto a C-PAK machine which helps them to breath by kind of blowing air up their nose. Babies born before 32 weeks have trouble breathing by themselves as their lungs are not developed enough. Prem babies often have bleeding and enlargement in the ventricles of their brains, which can be devastating . They can also have bleeding in their lungs and behind their eyes, their blood vessels just aren’t mature enough to cope outside the womb. One last thing to consider babies born weighing more than 1kg / after 28 weeks tend to get on better and girls do better than boys. Hope this helps with your story! Anyways, both my boys survived they’re six and nearly two and you’d never gusse that there had ever been any cause for concern!
Need help with assigment on writing a satire story?
i have a assigment to take a ordinary fairy tale and rewrite it using satire. I was thinking about doing it on little red riding hood, having her play a evil girl or make the three little pigs bad guys and the wolf the good guy, but the pigs still lose to the wolf If you have any other ideas, please help.... OK - a good story needs a dilemma or problem to be introduced in there to hook the reader's attention. So why not have surfing as the background to your story? A surfer is practising some moves at sea near some isolated beach... notices a guy comes and sits on the beach with a box.... thinks nothing of it and carries on surfing. Later, after taking a fall into the sea, the surfer comes up to the beacj for a rest and finds a severed hand pinned to the box by a knife. Nothing else. Then as the story goes on attempts are made on his life, etc etc, and the surfer has to figure out what is going on. Who was the man? Why was his hand severed and pinned to the box? Who is now after him and why? Use these ideas to figure out the "flesh" of the story and see if you come up with anything useful. Good luck.
I need help writing an introduction to a horror story?
For my english coursework i'm supposed to write a introduction to a story. I want it to be horror themed, but not involving gore and killing, just tension and mystery, but i want to creep the reader so it will probably be supernaturally based :] I just need some ideas for a story line, but it cant be too complicated as i cant get into the story, because im only writing the introduction. If someone could please give me some ideas, or a sentence or two for my introduction, just to get me started i'd be very thankful, Thanks! x
ABC Story....writing?
Frantically, he opened the doorknob. "Greetings," Joe said. "Hello," Debbie said. "Is there anything I can do for you?" Joe asked. "Just giving you some cookies," Debbie replied. Kind of weird, Joe thought. Late at night, just to bring me some cookies... "Maybe..." Joe said. "No, I'm giving you these cookies," Debbie replied. "Okay," Joe said. Pretending he was not cautious, Joe took the cookies. Quietly, he said thanks and closed the doors. Really, Joe thought, this late at night to give me cookies? Seeing that they looked tasty, he took a bite, ignoting his suspicions. They taste good, Joe thought. Under a minute later, however, Joe fell to the grown, gasping for air. Viciously trying to keep himself concious, he dialed 911. "What do you need," the operator asked. "X - my neighbor - x - just poisoned me - " "Your neighbor? According to the location of your call, your neighbor is - oh my God- it's a Russian spy!" "Zakari Vladamiritus! I KNEW IT!"
