I was wondering about this as well. I found this in their terms of service information as follows: "Once you have been assigned your Straight Talk phone number you cannot change it or your Service plan until your Service End Date (as described below) expires; otherwise you will lose any unused Service balance(s) in your account. If you decide to change your Straight Talk phone number or your Service plan prior to your Service End Date, or upon notification that your phone is lost or stolen, your account will be deactivated and any unused Service balance(s) will be lost and will not be transferred" Basically, you have to wait until your phone service is up, then I'm thinking you can just reactivate and choose a new number at that time.
