Straightalk Android Phone Can

Can I change my straight talk phone number?

I was wondering about this as well. I found this in their terms of service information as follows:

"Once you have been assigned your Straight Talk phone number you cannot change it or your Service plan until your Service End Date (as described below) expires; otherwise you will lose any unused Service balance(s) in your account. If you decide to change your Straight Talk phone number or your Service plan prior to your Service End Date, or upon notification that your phone is lost or stolen, your account will be deactivated and any unused Service balance(s) will be lost and will not be transferred"

Basically, you have to wait until your phone service is up, then I'm thinking you can just reactivate and choose a new number at that time.

How to block someones phone number for a android straight talk?

You can find a Call Blocking app. for your phone. The StraightTalk phone, like many, do not have a built-in Call Blocker..(Check Google or other sources for apps.)

How do you block calls on a Straight Talk phone?

Depending on the Straight Talk phone that you have you can block calls from people that are not listed in your contacts list. This will not work on all phones but it will work on some of the older Straight Talk phones.

Go to Settings, Phone Settings, Security, enter your 4 digit unlock code, Restriction.

Then decide what restriction you want to set. If you set contacts, the only calls that will come thorough and that you can dial are people who are listed in your contacts list.

How do you block numbers on a Straight Talk phone?

There are many ways to stop communication. If your provider does not grant you a service of blocking certain numbers (by typing certain service numbers by touch-tone) and your phone is not programmable and you don’t have a telephone station at your home, that can do that, and your telephone company doesn’t provide that service, the only way to do this is by doing something criminal, which I won’t advise to do.Just a creative way to block numbers.Find out where your next telephone infrastructure stands. It’s usually a very simple house or kind of hall or warehouse where all the old relais did stand from the dinosaur age.If you are lucky, it’s still all mechanical and you can go and get rid of the incoming relais after you illegally entered that facility. That might block calls from whole regions for your whole neighborhood, but whatever it takes. If you have digital services, there’s a mainframe big computer with all the cables running in. You have to find a way for your terminal to enter it and go through the specifications. Then you can easily block a number or give you a service or whatever.I just once visited such an environment completely legally and a friend did show me how theoretically that could be done. At home I suddenly found myself mystically available some additional services on my phone that I did never knew were available. There must be an error in the telephone relais station, but because I don’t bug people with small things, I never told them, that there was an error. So, yes: it perfectly works. But that’s illegal and I don’t tell you how exactly that works. Anyway your telephone system works different most likely where you live. And you need an expert for that. I could not have done that myself with no preparation and learning all those infrastructure. For the legal way to do it, here the system the TDSTelecom uses, but the system is different from provider to provider, so you have to google that yourself (“ block numbers”) for your system, your country and your provider:Blocking unwanted callers | TDSIf your system is still mechanical, which can happen in many places of the world, you might not have the service at all, just the illegal way to do it. If I were you, I would try to switch to IP telephone or mobile, then. If you still have a girl in station that is doing that by hand, get out of the 19th century! Pronto!
