What do americans call stretchers?

Like in england we call them stretchers, and we call the sizes by mm (eg; 5mm, 18mm ect) byt ive heard americans call them gauge or somethig? Can somebody explain this please?

Also, do you know a place where i can get sterile retainers for a new-ish cartilage. Yes, i know, im supposed to wait till its healed properly. But, for tennis i need one. Thanks! :)

Ps, i know im in the wrong category. But i couldnt find a piercing one and i thought people here would know their stuff.

Why do Rugby players pull each others pants down during the game?

They do it to put the attacker off, so he is more likley to make a mistake or drop the ball ETC

Who is the greatest hero in Scottish history?

James Graham, the Marquis of Montrose makes Braveheart look like a cissy. He was the brightest and bravest Scotsman of the time and was one of the first to sign the Covenant and face down King Charles the first. However, just as with various factions in England, Montrose realised that his fellows were not trying to bring Charles to a settlement, but had a far deeper agenda. Thomas Wentworth led the English Parliament against Charles too, but he too decided that Pym and his pals were after more than settlement.Montrose fought for two Kings who did not deserve his loyalty and his exploits and marches with just Highlanders and faithful Irish, sound too far fetched to be true.He was a Royalist, but even an old Cromwellian like myself would have to put him in a Dream Team of 17th century figures. You can visit him in St. Giles’ Church, Edinburgh. He:s not all there because his limbs were nailed above the gates of various cities. It is believed that the limbs were recovered and stored by Cromwell’s men who would have detested the treatment given to Montrose by Campbell of Argyll and his fellow hijackers of the Covenant. It is funny how the film industry has missed so many of the heroes of the Civil Wars of England, Scotland and Ireland. Amazing, larger than life characters who have never been seriously looked at. Even Cromwell has had only crap films made about him, even though he was surrounded by people like John Milton, Roger Williams, and other contemporaries like Queen Christine of Sweden and Charles the tenth of Sweden, along with Cardinal Mazarin and Louis the fourteenth. He juggled Europe and made people proud to be British and even enemies to want to be drawn to his side.Montrose is the greatest Scottish Hero, but one hero, you Royal Watchers will appreciate was a Colonel Middleton! He was a Royalist who fought almost all the way through the Interregnum.

WHATS IT LIKE WHEN GETTING YOUR CARTILAGE PIERCED?

I am getting the top of my ear pierced, like on the side in the cartilage with a gun. (or whatever they use at Claire's.)
.Does it hurt really bad, whats it like?
Do you regret it? Just tell me everything PLEASE and THANK YOUU!

Why doesn't my bf ever touch my vagina or my breasts? He never allows me to get wet either. He just jams it in even though I tell him it is painful. I feel neglected sexually and have expressed this to him. I feel like he is completely uninterested.

One day, I and a group of friends were chatting about sex. None of those friends had experience or reliable knowledge in sex which is common in some conservative societies. One of those guys said “ Sex is pleasant only for one or two minutes, because women will be wet down there within few minutes, and due to wetness, penis will not get intense feelings.”.Nobody disagreed because of our lack of knowledge on that topic.Similarly, Your BF may lack understanding about female body and sex. He maybe still believing those wrong informations that he gathered from his friends .You said that you that you informed your BF about these. Did he changed his actions accordingly? If no, he is probably feeling shameful for not knowing to satisfying a girl or his ego is preventing him to hear things from you.Meeting a sex expert will be helpful in this situation.

Should men always wear underwear?

This is one of those questions to which there is no right or wrong answer. There are many factors to be considered when making this ultimately personal choice. Some things to consider is your own level of modesty and that of those around you. If wearing lightweight trousers, you are more likely to have a more visible bulge and one that might be significantly more detailed if, for example, you are circumcised. If you’re of an age where spontaneous erections are happening on a regular basis, this might be another reason to indeed wear some sort of briefs. Some men produce more pre-ejaculatory fluid (or precum) than others even when not aroused, and if this is the case, obviously an extra layer of protection would be beneficial.Another thing to consider is that after urination, even if you’re fairly careful to shake off the last bits of urine from your penis, it’s often not until you sit back down that those last drops are essentially “squeezed” out the shaft and could result in a rather embarrassing wet spot. There are certainly many other things to consider that are likely unique to your reality and so as I said originally, this is a choice that only you can make. No one man’s answer would be incorrect for his life but that wouldn’t necessarily fit into yours.Above all else, make sure whichever you choose is what makes you most comfortable physically and emotionally.

What do you find physically attractive that others don’t?

I’m not normally one to be drawn to someone based on their physical appearance but these answers are all so interesting and I have a few preferences of my own.Shorter guys. This just might be because I stand at 5′3 but y’all giant beanstalks are intimidating. I wouldn’t want to have to constantly look up at a significant other nor suffer the awkwardness of a significant height difference and I find shorter guys pretty adorable. Around 5′7 or a little less is my ideal height but I wouldn’t mind someone shorter than that.(I’m laughing but this is exactly what I mean. In Kit’s defense, the lovely ladies to the left are already imposingly tall.)Skinny guys.I’m not talking about toned and lean muscle here. I’m attracted to a talking fishbone (if you get the reference, I love you). Almost frail-looking but not so much so that it’s unhealthy.Very prominent cheekbones. They may look jarring, gaunt, or alien to some, but. Need. I. Say. More.Androgyny.Already mentioned here multiple times but I can’t understate how attractive androgyny is, at least to me. I’ve always thought I was weird for liking feminine-looking men and vice versa but judging from the responses below, it may not be so uncommon after all.Red/ginger hair.I’m aware of the joke of the ginger with no soul but I’m convinced it’s all just concentrated in their gorgeous hair.Women with broad shoulders. So strong. So majestic. I could be biased as I’m a woman with broad shoulders myself but any one of them could punch me and I’d thank her for it.Women in suits.Otherwise known as the greatest gift to mankind. I am deceased.
