Stupid And Irrelevant Question I Know But I Have To Ask. Gulf Of Mexico Who Does It Belong Too

Should African-Americans be entitled to their own state?

"Entitled". No. That time has come and gone. But a compelling arguement can be made for an African-American State based on moral and historical reasons. Morally, sure a State would do a lot to ease white guilt over slavery. It would figure to be a solution to America's deep-seeded racial problems. It would also be a form of paying back reparations that have become a point of discussion lately. It's also feasible and could address other issues in the USA (more on this). There is some precedent here. A State has already been established , of course, in Africa (Liberia). There was a failed attempt to start one on Haiti. The USA also supports prefabricated nations such as Israel so supporting a new State isn't such a novel idea. The USA also has sovereignty over territories. While most are uninhabited, Puerto Rico and Guam are not and are territories that the USA oversees. Creating an African-American territory could possibly happen with US support for a period of time where it could be an independent Nation. Many current US states west of the Mississippi started out as territories so this isn't new. Where to start a new State? Well Alaska has enough open land to do so. There is plenty of space in the Mountain Time zone to form out an area for a new state. Perhaps the best solution would be to bring back the State of West Florida. It was what is now southern Mississippi and Alabama. Located on the Gulf of Mexico with a milder climate and land that could be farmed as well as being close enough and familiar enough to African-Americans, it would be ideal in a sense. A US territory created from two of the poorest states in the Nation that can be administrated in part by the Federal government would address the African-American statehood issue while also making these remaining states more manageable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We...Precedent could also be considered in the Native American reservations that had been created. While the history and current conditions of these places is not so glorious, the idea is in place and would be another way of making this idea work. But would we go for it? Doubtful. As badly as the country has treated African-Americans , it's still our home and we're too rooted in this country to begin a new one. Maybe over time it would become something, but it would have to start modestly. Would we be entitled to this? Call it reparations and try to gather steam around the idea and maybe, just maybe it might catch on.

Why isn't Mexico part of N.A.T.O?

Being a part of North America is irrelevant, as the NATO acronym stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
Using your idea, what part of mexico is in, or borders the North Atlantic, or the Atlantic, for that matter?
They also experienced the Mexican miracle, between 40 and 1980, a period of amazing growth, and Since the Mexican Revolution, and until the administration of President Ernesto Zedillo, Mexico had been known for its foreign policy or "doctrine" known as the Doctrina Estrada, which was a foreign policy guideline of an enclosed view of sovereignty. It claimed that foreign governments should not judge, positively or negatively, the governments or changes in government of other nations, in that such action would imply a breach to their sovereignty. This policy was said to be based on the principles of Non-Intervention, Pacific Solution to Controversies, and Self-Determination of all nations. Simply, they didn't want to be a member.

How do you pick up/flirt with moroccan women in morocco?

Well, you can pick up prostitutes in bars if that's what you want. Otherwise, you won't probably get too far with Moroccan girls unless you are Muslim and want to marry.

Thanks for the thumbs down... I lived there. Guess *I* wouldn't know..

Why do people keep saying palestinians and lebanese are white ?

"White" is irrelevant. According to geneticists, they are of Western Eurasian descent. Levantines, Turks, Afghans, Iranians, Kurds, etc and all Europeans are of Western Eurasian descent.

Honestly if Middle Easterners aren't considered "white," then Southern Italians shouldn't be considered "white" either. They are heavily admixed with Middle Eastern to the point where their genetics resemble that of Ashkenazi Jews (half Middle Eastern, Half Italian North). It makes no sense whatsoever to claim that a South Italian or even a Greek or Albanian is the same "race" as a Danish person but then claim that the aforementioned groups are racially different from Middle Easterners.

Also, I personally know a handful of 100% Lebanese, Kurdish, Turkish, and Pashtun people who look more "white" than even many full native Europeans. Your claim that offspring of a Middle Easterner and European looks mixed race is an over-exaggeration. Laci Green is half Iranian and half English, and she looks as white as white gets. JonTron is also half Iranian and Half European, and he looks just white to me. Anita Sharkessian is full Armenian and looks white. On the flip side, I have seen a half Norwegian half Greek person who looked Pakistani. It's not as static and neatly divided as you make it sound, it is very arbitrary.

At the end of the day, I don't see why any of this matters. Nobody will know the real answer unless they ask Lebanese or Palestinian people themselves. Where I live, a lot of Lebanese self ID as "white," even the very Arab looking ones. However, I have seen others, even ones that pass for some form of white, consider themselves minorities.

The reason U.S. entered WW1 is the Lusitania sinking? 128 Americans died in that sinking....?

I know all wars are started by something that provokes it but it's not like this was an attack directly targeted at America ---

it was Americans who were included on that ship that was mostly foreigners in a part of the Atlantic Ocean far away....

What are the public's stereotypes of the 5 US military branches?

OK... NO disrespect here but you asked so I will answer. I worked with every group and I think they all do a great job. Let it be known that within the branches, we all rag on each other but during times of war, we ALL came together and worked as a team.

1. Air Force= Chairforce. Lazy, easy, posh jobs. They go to the field with chefs and air conditioned tents.
2. Army...which I was a part of. US ARMY= Yes My Retarded A** Signed Up. Not tough enough for the Marines...not smart enough for the Air Force.
3. Coast Guard... Americas Security Guards. Big Badge but no power
4. Marines= Muscles Are Required, Intelligence Not Expected. Jarheads. Follow orders no matter how dumb or suicidal without thinking because they have no brains.
5. Navy. They use the head..they have a rear admiral... 22 men go out to sea and 11 couples come home...get the pic?
