Hetalia Stereotypes Accurate?
I live in Miami, Fl (United States). I'm a huge anime fan and I do see some stereotypes true but most arent. For example, they portray Americans as loud, ambitious, and materialistic people. Americans are ambitious and we do live in a materialistic society, so I could see how Japanese anime/manga see us that way. That said, I think the animes and mangas exaggerate a bit. I think thats what you were asking..not country stereotypes toward people who watch anime/manga O_O

ok Im really open to anime, im a Big fan of DBZ, YuYu Hakusho, Bleach and more dat i forgot. I got all the DVDs, manga, I still talk about about them with my friend ,but i perfer all of my fav anime in Dub and im use to the english music too. I respect the reason why people pick sub over dub, even tho they all bias and full of bullshit (no offrend,that just da way i see it). But man, i hated when people always say "you not a true anime fan if you don't watch in Japanese" or " you U.S fans don't know **** and are too lazy to watch in Japanese" and my fav *U.S DBZ/ whatever ain't real anime".I mean C"mon just becuz i watch it in dub don't mean that im lazy nor an Illiteracy, alrigth I got low strandards.We both (subbers and dubbers) are fan of the same thing, can we all get along? :D

i dont know if u have ever heard of this anime but it is called "Hetalia Axis Powers" and it has 51 episodes but each episode is only 5 minutes so if u can check it out and tell me (the story starts the 2nd episode) does it explain about history in a comedy way (mocking)? or it doesnt have anything true about the history it shows??? http://www.gogoanime.com/hetalia-axis-po... and thanks
Why do people constantly say Dubbed anime sucks?
I think people don't like dubbed because some of the acting is actually bad. However, there are dubs that are amazing (like FMA, Ouran, and Romeo x Juliet). There are always gonna be haters. Personally, I don't care which type I watch, as long as the plot is good!

You have not taken a deep enough look into the true art that is Anime. Think of it as an art, not a realistic movie scene or T.V. show.... Anime is like any other performance, just shown from a different view, and most of the time with a more open mind towards fantasy. Judge not what you know little about, as you may find some things to be simply astounding. Check into a few things such as a series called LAIN, and Perfect Blue. These things are just as serious as anything else you may find out there, but are too Anime, but have psychological twists and story lines just as any other scripted movie. Also take into consideration that you're most likely not Japanese, and do not fluently speak Japanese, thus cannot listen to and watch Anime in its original form with Japanese voice-overs rather than replicated "Enlgish Dubbs" which cannot always be 100% accurate as there are some things that cannot be directly translated from Japanese to English. Take a deeper look into it, just like you would any other art form, before you judge it.
