Suggestions Regarding My Abroad Degree Courses Help Me Out Friends

Share your "study abroad" experience?

I've been greatly considering studying abroad my second semester of junior year. I am in first semester sophomore year now. I'll have five semesters to learn a new language and get finances in order. Will you please share with me your experiences with study abroad? Where did you go? What did you gain? How did you decide where to go? How many classes did you take? Did a friend come with you or did you go at it alone? I'm so excited for this because it is such a real possibility! Please humor me and enlighten me with anything you feel like from the beginning process to the ride home.

Exchange Student fears (HELP)?

No need to fear, really. but it's normal.
I have many friends currently in South Korea right now who are having a blast. I have many friends here, in the US, who are from Korea, they are the coolest people I know and they tell me many great things about their country. I remember before I went to China, I was freakin scared. But I really wanted to go, so I didn't let that get in the way. plus, that was the first time I went to China (to study Mandarin), and the first time i have traveled that far away from home.
Some of the things I would do to prepare is go on youtube. . Just type in some key words that you're trying know about and they should have it. I would spend lot of my time on youtube watching videos on studying abroad in china, anything about china, i would watch just to get a feel about how life was there. i would also look up blogs of people who were studying or working in china. that helped a lot because they would just tell you stories of their daily life in that country.
Also, go to your nearest library (public) and look up books on studying abroad, etc. .
But no matter how much I spent on videos and books, I still doesn't prepare you.

right now, i'm doing it all over again because i hope to go to japan next year. and i'm looking up videos about japan. i'm about to check out some books on japan, some photography books..

have fun!

Studying abroad in South Korea?

I've always wanted to study abroad, and I love Korea. I am Asian (if that information helps in anyway) I want to study somewhere from my school, because I just want to take a break from every including my friends and just let out some of my stress (even though I might even be stress if I study abroad.) I do understand just a tiny bit of Korean just a tiny bit. And I just want to study for a short period of time like 2-3 months? I have a lot of questions but my main ones are...
1. Are there a lot of international school that have Korean teachers or English speaking teachers? And will the students be likely to be American?
2. How do I apply for the school I want to go to?
3. Is there a lot of stalkers lol or sex assaults?
4. Anything I should be aware about?
5. Housing, apt, hotels, are they expensive?
Additional Info
I am actually really young, and I'm the type of person who is shy and scared of a lot of things but will push through anything to get what I need. And I am just thinking about this, a thought that I had in mind.
Thanks ^_^

Bright futures scholarship and study abroad?

At most universities, when you study abroad you enroll in some sort of a dummy course, so you're still officially enrolled at your home university even though you're actually somewhere else. If your uni does this, then it's very safe to say that you'll still get your scholarship - as far as they're concerned you're still studying at your uni. Check with your school though - study abroad offices usually know the answer to this one.

I want to study abroad, but I do not have enough money. What can I do?

You can apply for a scholarship …I'm from india and I didn't have any money with me when decided to study abroad . After a long search for some scholarships I found so many chances all over the world . I didn't have money and time to prepare for IELTS or any other English proficiency exams. So I couldn't apply for a number of scholarships . But I found Turkey govt. Scholarship (Home - Türkiye Bursları )doesn't need that kind of exams and it's application system is very easy . So I applied for this scholarship . After one month they sent me a message that my application was successful and they invited me for an interview in Delhi. I went there alone after borrowing some money from friends (it's like 2000km away from my home). The interview was very easy for me . After one and half month that beautiful news came to my email .. I was just jumping and dancing when I see that… then I got visa and flight ticket for free ..and ..yup ..now I'm in Turkey… I'm getting a scholarship of 250$ every month besides the food ,accommodation and health insurance. I'm studying well…. Yea . Even poor can study wherever if he have academic caliber.. my dream is studying masters degree in Oxford or Cambridge university. I will study hard until I get a scholarship to study in the no. 1 unv. In the world..In nutshell, you can study anything anywhere if you really want to do it… good luckFind the best scholarship for you from this website https://goo.gl/MwNvxs
