Suggestme Some Good Colleges For Doing Mba Abroad

Is it good to study Engg/Med in abroad or in India?

engineering is of value in india only if it is done from top institutes like IITs/NITs/BITS etc ...
medical is usually good here , except for some colleges which have very few facilities (usually colleges managed by state governments ).

if engg , i suggest USA/UK/Aus . write SAT and toefl/ielts . admission is given based on the above tests .

if med , there are many colleges in russia and china (US/UK/Aus are better but getting admission there for UG is very tough ). however , you may have to learn the local language . also , after graduating , you must write a test here in india in order to be recognised as an mbbs holder .

What is the minimum cost of doing an MBA abroad & what are the best universities?

MBA program in a top 20 business school abroad could cost you around $45,000 to $80,000 a year, but most of the programs cost between $55,000 and $68,000 a year. In the US, although the cost of an MBA degree can vary, the average tuition for a two-year MBA program exceeds $60,000. If you attend one of the top business schools in the US, you can expect to pay as much as $100,000 or more in tuition and fees.Of course, these costs don’t take into consideration your opportunity to earn scholarship, grants, or financial aid. While the actual numbers look grim, most students manage to ‘earn while learning’ through campus jobs, internships, and other working opportunities too.But monetary analysis is incomplete without evaluating the salaries that MBA’s from top schools abroad draw. According to the latest survey done by US News, 90% of job-seeking MBAs from top schools found jobs within three months after graduation. Graduates who were employed within three months of receiving a degree earned an average of more than $100,000. MBA graduates from top schools such as Stanford, Harvard, and Wharton earned an average salary and bonus of $164,000. According to 2017 annual survey by Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC), the median starting salary for business school graduates in the U.S. hit $110,000 for the first time in 2017, which is a jump of $10,000 over 2015’s starting salary. However, there are many caveats to these figures. The salary will depend on several factors such as:How much work experience you had before your MBA makes a big difference to the earnings you’ll receive.Where you seek the job, i.e., geographic location, since the cost of living varies depending on the city and state of employment. What is the field or industry you choose to pursue an MBA? Salary offers vary widely between the government or non-profit sector and private sector industries. What’s your job function: whether you choose accounting, human resources, or sales can affect your earnings, with those involved in management commanding top dollar.

What colleges to target for MBA (abroad) if you don't have GMAT but work experience of 4+ years?

Thanks for the A2A.This may not be the answer you are looking for, but if you really want to make the most out of your investment, aim for the good bschools with a competitive selection process. Most of the good ones will insist on a GMAT (or GRE) score along with other application material (essays, recommendations, interviews). If any bschool is making it extremely easy for you to get in, think about how the market (and your future employer) will perceive the degree.Invest some time and effort into getting a competitive GMAT score and then apply.Sameer | Beyond The MBA Hype

How feasible is doing an MBA abroad for a middle class person like me? Please read question details.

I didn't understand your question clearly. Whether you are passionate to do MBA or passionate to do MBA abroad. If it is the former, there are a number of grad schools in India which are on the top 100 list. Even if you don't manage to get into IIMs, try for FMS, XIMB, SPJain, NMIMS, etc. The faculty is good and has a good reputation with most of the companies and you will land a good job with a good package. Flying abroad at companies expense will be very high. On the other hand, if you are passionate about doing MBA abroad, that too in UK or Canada, you got to explain clearly what is the driving factor. If it is just the faculty, you are on the wrong track. Also you need to do a lot of ground work on the University and place. Places like UK will welcome students today and tomorrow they will bring a regulation that says no one can work after completion of course. If you look at the trend in number of applicants for UK universities last year, it has actually dipped. Some companies in India (IT services companies from my experience) do not recognize some of the UK Universities abroad. Going and studying in a lesser known college abroad versus studying in a well known Tier 1 institute here has a lot of difference when it comes to landing a job. Being a middle class has nothing to do here. Its where you true interest lies and your smartness that matters.

How much does a good CGPA matter for doing MBA from top MBA colleges in india and abroad?

Hi there !I did engineering from NIT  Jalandhar with 80.3 % average ( we did not get CGPA at that time )  but in all the interviews for MBA which I appeared after 2 years of work experience definitely questioned on my marks (positive in this case).  In few other cases , my friend who had average percentage of 70 who also got grilled on lower percentage in most of the interviews they faced in 2008 . Fortunately now to clear the ambiguity and make a more streamlined process , most of the colleges have started giving the actual weightage given to various aspects .For example : 50 % to CAT score20 % to extra curricular20 % to Class X & XII 10 % to PI etc or in some cases like in FMSMore than 80 % weightage to written exam and rest 20 % on GD/PI and previous records .Best is to diligently go through the targeted colleges sites and see the admission criteria. In case you are looking for thorough and intensive book on interviewing , here is the link. My sister got through IIM Bangalore Batch applying the framework described in the book ..http://www.amazon.in/Beyond-CAT-...

Is it better to study for an MBA abroad or in India?

Try India:) MBA here is cheap and best. IIMs are very much cheap than US elite colleges when comes to fees.In US, placements are fuckin’ great offering sexy CTCs but as US is super-duper expensive so your savings would be relatively same to the one who got a domestic placement having a package which includes 45 Lac fixed CTC #yearly from top IIMs.MBA/PGDM’s curriculum, practicality, and teaching staff of HBS is awesome when compared to IIM-A so you would learn a lot there. Also the cosmopolitian enviroment in US classroom would help you a lot in team building; Remember MBA is all about management.MBA in US is worth if done from any elite college and that’s universal truth but looking to expensive fees & visa situation, I would recomment to crack the CAT…. Think about your family before getting a death loan on the name of education (In US, a total two year expense including fees and living would not be less than 80Lakhs INR; scholarships would limit your choices when comes to great US colleges for which you ignored IIM), don’t put your 50+ year old father in an Indian ocean on a financially challenged ship; you won’t get time to earn bucks in US via part time waiting tables in restaurants while studying MBA in US as MBA demands good hours in college, few internships, and self-studying; it’s exhaustive in nature.

What are some good graduate business schools abroad?

I am currently a business student at Kennesaw State University in Georgia majoring in International Business. I graduate in about a year and I'm looking at graduate school options. I want to go to graduate school abroad in an English speaking country. I've been looking at London Business School but it's very competitive so I'm looking for other decent options. I want to go to a reputable business school that I have a good chance of getting into. Kennesaw State is known for its business program so I'm hoping that can help me get into a good graduate school. My Business courses are over a 3.0 GPA (It's hard to tell where it really stands because I'm in the middle of taking 5 classes). So are there any reputable, English speaking, moderately easy to get into, abroad graduate schools?
