Summarize The Following English.

Please summarize this English paragraph for me? (10 points for 1st answer)?

Dear Ms Granedi,

In reply to your recent letter inquiring about how long it would take to implement any of the additional services our Bank offers, the following answers should be helpful:

Is it summarising or summarizing in the english u.k language?

It's 'summarising'. The use of a letter 'z' in America, changing words like summarising to summarizing and realising to realizing is know as 'Bastardised English' or, simply, a spoiling of the language. Much of this was introduced in the USA by Benjamin Franklin following Independence for two reasons. One was to promote his idea that six letters in the alphabet were not necessary as people should spell phonetically, in other words write as they spoke. This gave rise to the spelling of colour into color and favour into favor. As it happened Franklin's Phonetic Alphabet didn't survive but many of the new spellings did.

How do you write a summary of a poem?

Ask yourself this question first:What is the main point of the poem? How is the poem structures? What does the author use to bring us to this main point? What is the overall tone of the poem?I’ll give you a quick example of a popular poem by Robert Frost:“In his three stanza poem, “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening,” Robert Frost paints a picture with contrast images of light and darknesses to show a dilemma of a man who is in the middle of the woods during a snowstorm. At first, the man considers stopping and staying in the woods because it is so peaceful. However, his horse alerts him to the fact that he has many things left to do in his life. While many people see this poem as a peaceful scene, some look at the images of darkness and see a man faced with a troubling problem and the woods could be his escape.”As you can see, I mentioned the structure, the theme, the images, and the conflict, which is included in most poetry.I hope this helps.

What is a summary of Francis Bacon's "Of Revenge"?

Francis Bacons is against private revenge . He says that revenge is outside of law .Bacon points out that ignoring a wrong makes a man superior to the person who committed the first wrong. Bacon points out that wise men have enough to do with the present and the future rather than taking revenge.Since a wrong in the past cannot be made right, it's best to concentrate on trying to influence the present and future.Bacon adds that no man seeks to do harm for its own sake and that getting mad at someone trying to better himself is not worth it. If a man does harm because he's just bad, well, that's his nature, and his ill nature dictates his actions. If, Bacon argues, one engages in revenge that has no lawful remedy, then that revenge might be tolerable, but he warns that the person seeking revenge should make sure there is no law that will punish him. And it's only right that the person one is seeking revenge upon understands that he's the target because that knowledge may make him sorry for his original action.Bacon ends the essay pointing out that public revenge on bad leaders is "for the most part fortunate" but reminds his reader that private revenge is "unfortunate."

The English Revolution?

Which one?

I think you are referring to the Glorious Revolution. That happened under William and Mary. That's when the Magna Carta went into effect. The Magna Carta enumerated rights for citizens that were previously non-existent.

I think that's what you're asking about, although there is no question in your statement. Are you expecting someone to actually write the essay?

The Glorious Revolution is the one usually associated with rights; however, there have been a few civil wars in the history of the UK. The 17th and 18th centuries were a very turbulent time in the history of the UK. There was the War of the Roses, the English Civil War, the Commonwealth period, the Glorious Revolution, etc., all of which occurring in the span of approximately 150 years.

What is the question?

EDIT: "The English revolution being referred to is the one following the 30 years war if that's any help. That's the only part that my textbook specifies about one verses another."
----- OK. You're still not asking a direct question. I'll tell you that you are asking about the 2nd English Civil War. I'll also give you some Wikipedia links to relevant information. The person who said you are the only one who's got chapter 14 of your textbook was spot-on. I don't even know what the chapter is about.

That's the best that I can do. I'm a writer/editor, so there's no way I'm writing an essay that requires me to do research for free. Writing can be a hobby for me, but not that kind of writing. I doubt that anyone here would do it. And I would be very skeptical of using something someone on Y!A wrote; you're asking to get trolled, unless you like failing.
