What are the pros and cons of having a motorcycle rather than a car?

I use it mainly for commuting, so my reasons tend to be on the practical side.Pros:Ride to work is faster (filtering, etc).Fuel consumption is lower than for a car (but see Cons). It's cheaper than a car (relatively, of course).Parking. You can park mostly anywhere. This is wonderful at work, but also when going down town. No parking, or any payment. No time spent looking for a place. You can use the bus lane and get into just for residents streets (in Madrid, YMMV).It’s fun. You can smell your surroundings. You can feel the coolness of a nearby river. Well, you are out there, not insude a metal cage.Cons:Dangerous. Yes, this can maybe the main reason you hear from non-riders. And, while I agree, it’s a danger you can control to some point. Instruction, attention and appropriate gear can do much. You are more aware of traffic, road condition, … than people who just drive a car.Maintenance is more expensive. Oil change, tires… Also, any repair will comparatively be more expensive. It’s all exposed, so wear down is expected to be faster.Weather. Rain in winter is no good, specially when you don’t have spare cloths, whether at work or at home. Riding in summer, with 34ºC and your gear (jacket, gloves, maybe pants) on is also a pain. You’ll want a car for more than two people, or when carrying some luggage. Or someone who can’t ride a bike (children, elder). If you have to choose just one kind of vehicle to own, just this can leave the bike out.I’m not that much into group riding nor the sport side, so I won’t mention those. But it’s true that, if you meet some other rider, there’s a good chance you’ll have some stories to tell. It happens to me with some colleagues.

What branch of NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) in Manila or Quezon City is the most efficient in processing online applications?

Don't even bother with either Manila or Quezon City. Try Mandaluyong City Hall no earlier than 3pm. The downside to the place is that they have a strict 400-application-forms-available-only-per-day rule in place for offline applications. I've never seen the logic to it but someone told me that it was an ordinance set in place by the higher-ups in said place to prevent the procedure from falling apart. On really busy days like post-graduation season, you know by 8am if you're going to get one or not.If you fill out the NBI form online, it allows you to go around the hard limit they're imposing. The only problem with the online form is that sometimes it won't print. In that case, get a screenshot and transfer to a proper PDF file.In any case, I went there at 3pm and they still had about 20 copies left. Got my NBI clearance 10 minutes later, since I've got no hit. That's a record 15 minutes total somewhat. Previously, my fastest record was at Robinsons Otis a few years back, which was around the 30-minute mark. This would have been much faster if I didn't have to fill out the form, as that took me the whole of 5 minutes. Going in with your online application makes it much faster as you can skip the encoding phase and skip directly to payment.
