a lot of the time, we don't even realize we like someone who likes us back until the last second. you have to be persistent. our venus is driven by our hearts and we're kind of picky about it, since it's in virgo. we have this perfect idea of how our ideal mate should be, and can be a bit stubborn about it. we may even ignore obvious signs of compatibility between the two of us because we're too busy looking for that perfect someone that most likely doesn't exist. venus-virgos can tend to be late-bloomers or prudes or single a lot because they don't think anyone is good enough, OR that they're not good enough. we could think someone is amazing, but not say anything or act reserved/uninterested at the risk of being hurt or disappointed.

I have Venus in Virgo. I am reserved, not shy. Well, maybe a LITTLE shy. I tend to be quiet in strange places. I am also, I will admit since I'm nothing but a screen name here, that I'm a bit of an intellectual snob. I really don't like crude, loud people, which takes in most parties. But once I am comfortable in a group, I speak and my personality comes through. Just because I'm not jumping up and down or laughing out loud doesn't mean I'm bored or not enjoying myself. I like to study people and usually when I am apparently not engaging with others, that's what I am doing. It took my very extroverted husband a while to understand this. I can also be picky and I withdraw if anything is forced on me, food, drink or people. But I'll do almost anything for my friends. And would do anything for my love.

Well I can't speak from a guys point of view lol :) For me, I don't really go for looks. It's a bonus I guess, but the ability to talk to someone who I'm in a relationship with is most important. A nice smile or sparkling eyes is always a plus for me, but like I said I don't go for looks. I like really manly guys too. I'm really drawn to shy/introverted guys. I like a guy that seems really tough and reserved on the outside but is a real softy deep down. I'm shy when it comes to relationships, so I guess that's why I'm attracted to guys with some degree of shyness so that we can kind of open up together. I guess, for a guy, this can be interpreted as something similar. Perhaps a Venus in Virgo guy would like a less assertive type, maybe quite shy or reserved, someone who saves the best of their personality for him?
