Is PETA a scam?
No, it isn’t. Lots of people drink the Kool-Aid put out by the agriculture, dairy or beef associations and that is just fine with them. These entities are against allowing the truth to be known because their horrendous industry standards for animal welfare is so terrible that if slaughterhouses had windows everyone would be a vegetarian. So, they have a reason to discredit and disparage animal rights groups such as Peta.I am a long-time Peta member and I support them because I see what they have been able to accomplish. If you become a member for just one year, you will receive their “insider” magazine that keeps us all apprised of how they are spending their time and resources. I approve.Animal rights groups and organizations are the only advocacy groups that can say they are not in it for any personal or financial gain. People get involved with, for example, cancer research, because they or someone they know has had it. But animal activists are speaking for others, those who cannot speak for themselves.People love to hate PeTA because it allows them to be comfortable in their inertia. Don’t want to give up meat? So say PeTA lies. Easy peasy.Peta is the target of Humanewatch who is being funded by factory farming industrialists. They are concerned and so outspoken because their livelihoods are being jeopardized.Just today I got a text from PeTA saying that VW has finally caved in to their demands to stop using live animals in their crash testing. Did you know VW was even doing that? I didn’t. That alone is worth a year’s membership. When Burger King started offering veggie burgers, PeTA went all out to let people know that Burger King should be their first choice for a fast meal whether or not you are vegetarian. The rise in revenues after taking that bold step will illustrate how many people really do care about animals, even the ones that still eat them.Whatever it is that PeTA is doing is working and even though I don’t agree with all their tactics, overall I support the mission and welcome it as part of the movement.They don’t hide their euthanasia rates, but they explain it here:Why We Euthanize.

His selection rate is highest in JEE and NEET in UP.
