I don't know. But I had to open your question because I thought maybe you were a co-worker of mine who fell in Olive Garden at lunch, landing flat on her behind. She looked up at us while we were laughing our butts off, and with bewilderment said, "What the hell just happened?" We still laugh about this and often use the phrase in inappropriate usages, just to get another laugh. Hope you find the answer to your quesiton.
Is it "I just happened to see it" or "I just happen to see it"?
