The Ps4 Is Basically Manufactured And Done Why The Wait Till Nov

After the launch of the PS5, will Sony stop the manufacture of the PS4 new games?

First, the games that are currently being developed that are too expensive or too far along in production to easily convert to the PS5 will still release.Next, you’ll see a lot of games that straddle the line and release for both generation of systems. This is because many publishers will wait for more people to buy into the new console cycle before fully supporting it. Games are expensive to make and they want to ensure a larger audience than just a couple million. After a while, these dual-gen games will dry up as developers switch entirely over to the new generation. This usually happens a year or two after the new-gen systems launch. After this point, only sports games and maybe a couple party games (like Just Dance) will still release on the old systems. This will last for quite some time, probably 5 or 6 years after the new gen launches. Heck, the last PS2 game was Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and it launched only a week before the PS4 came out. They’re still making sports games for the PS3 and 360!From there, it’s probably curtains. With any luck, maybe the indie scene might adopt the system and still publish a couple games (like what happens for the Dreamcast, NES, SNES, & Genesis), but probably not. The world has moved on.

When will Final Fantasy XV be released?

I believe the release date is set sometime in 2016. But of course it's a bad idea to release next generation game platforms so close to each others releases being that they will start to become like the computer industry in which will reduce people wanting to buy them driving their prices down.

Think about this a newer an better built computer is released approximately every six months an average person only will buy a new computer approximately every three years. The hardware for building computers is costly to companies so what has happened they now outsource parts and labor from lower cost countries so what is manufactured is not a high quality product but a disposable product cheaply made.

This is why game platform companies use to wait three or more years to release the next generation game platform which if was released less than six to eight years would be a more advanced model of the current game platform.

The PS3 originally when it was released was approximately $600 the reason I know this because I bought one. The PS4 originally when it was released was approximately $400. This should make people concerned being that even though the PS4 a more powerful game platform than the PS3 you have to wounder what corners they had to cut to manufacture the PS4. As more next generation game platforms are released closer in proximity to one another they are going to become more disposable and cheaper to buy like the computer industry.

Now with the older platforms from SEGA and Nintendo as they developed more powerful game platforms the prices increased being they kept the quality as they progressed with the technology.

You get what you pay for.

Should I preorder the PS4 or wait for PS5?

I was thinking of getting my PS4 pre-order in early for the PS4 but not sure if I should maybe wait for the PS5. I decided against the Xbox One because it is for amateurs.

Will Xbox One be better than the PS4?

So if you guys watched the reveal of the new xbox, you'd know some things about it. Basically, it can play music (so can my phone), it can play movies (so can a dvd player), it has internet (so does my computer), and its voice activated which is pretty cool but honestly, whose that lazy that they can't go to something on the dashboard by just using the controller.

So the unneeded social aspect has been upgraded but the gaming aspect is still hazy. This is a gaming console, gamers don't need internet and facebook on a xbox. The xbox wont always be on which is good but some games, depending on the developers, may require you have internet connection. And thats where they lose half their customers. Microsoft is already going under because of Apple.. they cant start to get too greedy.

As far as I can see, I may go with the PS4, because its more about gaming and not about socializing, and not to mention will be much much cheaper to own. I don't know how microsoft thinks that non gamers are going to buy an xbox becuase it has the internet, skype, and a blue ray dvd player. If PS4 makes the price just right and doesn't screw it up like last time, I think that they will win over alot of people from xbox. Thats just my opinion. And as far as everyone can tell from today, the new xbox probably wont allow you to play used games. The only thing good about that is that Gamestop, who are greedier than EA or xbox, will take a huge hit from this.

ps. I own a 360, not a ps3, so I'm not bias.

SHOULD I GET PS4 PRO OR WAIT FOR PS5?

Yes, the PS4 Pro is the best buy at the moment; it's basically the PS5.

Sony has not made any statement in regards to a PS5 - in fact the only statement they mad is that they're waiting for consumers to adopt 4K TVs so as to increase PS4 Pro sales - and that can take easily up to a year, maybe more.

The extra $100 on the price tag is really no big deal compared to the piece of equipment you're buying - try putting together a gaming PC with those specs and see how much you'd spend.

From my experience PS weight does play a significant role; the heavier the better. The PS3 Fat is a solid console that never had any issues and it was the heaviest out there; same with the PS4 Pro and the processing power is almost double a PS4.

I seriously doubt there'll be a PS5 coming anytime soon.

Can I build a PS4 myself (strapped for cash) and if so, where can I get the legit hardware for the build? Would it be less costly to just buy a company built console?

When the original PS3 came out it was the first console to feature a Blu-Ray player. A lot of people questioned how Sony could afford to build and sell the PS3 for the price they did. So someone disassembled one and priced all the components up. Their conclusion was the total value of the components exceeded the retail price of the PS3. Sony were manufacturing and selling the PS3 at a net loss.So why would Sony do this? Well two reasons:Reason 1: Sony had an invested interest in getting Blu-Ray players into people’s homes. This was at time when the Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD format war was full swing. A war that Sony ultimately won, no doubt partially because many people ended up with a Blu-Ray player in their home as a result of purchasing a PS3.Reason 2: Sony makes far more money from licencsing fee they charge game developers, than it does from the hardware sales. If its console was prohibitively expensive, then it would hurt the sales of games and limit the money they could get from licensing fees. After all let’s face it, you’re not going to buy the games if you don’t own the console. Many printer manufacturers operate the same model selling the printer well below its manufacturing cost, because they make far more money from the consumables, in this case the ink cartridges. So back to your original question, can you build a PS4 for less? Probably not. Whilst there was a shift to using off the shelf components to build the PS4 opposes to the in-house components which were used to build the PS3, lowering the PS4’s manufacturing cost; Sony is still likely manufacturing and selling the PS4 at either cost or a loss because the licensing fee argument still applies. Also remember Sony is a massive company with huge buying power, they can buy in components far cheaper than you can. They will be purchasing millions of each components to build millions of PS4 consoles. You are looking to buy just one of each required component. I would therefore expect if you can come by all the necessary components to build a PS4 and you have the know-how to put it together, that the total cost of the components will exceed what you can buy brand new PS4 for.

Are remasters for the PS4 worth getting?

There have been a lot of remasters made for the PS4 and Xbox One and I've been trying to figure out whether they're worth it or not. I still play on PS3 and I'm trying to make my collection bigger by getting more games but I want to know whether I should get a certain game for the PS3 or its remastered version on the PS4. So the question is: are these games worth getting and are the prices right? Here are the games I'm curious about:

Saints Row IV Re-Elected & Gat Out of Hell (On Ps3, there's the National Treasure Edition)
Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition (On Ps3, it's just standard copy; Ps4 adds new playable characters)
DmC Definitive Edition (Again Ps3 is just standard; Ps4 adds all the DLC and Vergil)
Last of Us Remastered (Ps4 adds better graphics and framerate as well as the Left Behind DLC)

There are more coming soon such as God of War 3 Remastered and Batman Arkham Series remastered. I'm just curious on whether I should get some of these games are in fact worth my money since I feel like developers are just doing this to grab some extra cash.

Should I buy a PS4 Pro in 2018 or wait for the PS5?

The consoles are becoming more powerful and are becoming 4k and VR capable. We can assume that all the upcoming consoles namely PS5 and upcoming Xbox and every console after them will support VR and 4k. So if you currently own one or will buy one before they release the PS5 or will buy one when the PS5 is released then you should wait for PS5. If you are not looking to upgrade your TV anywere in the next 5 years then go buy a PS4 now. The only objective to buy a better console is to get the best gameplay experience which is only possible when the other components of your setup compliment each other. Otherwise their is no point in waiting for the PS5 l, buy PS4 and start gaming. The above also hold goods for a 4k monitor.

Is it still worth buying a PS4, or should I wait for the PS5?

Buy a PS4. Although the PS5 may come out at the end of 2020, the first version of anything always needs improvement. The PS4 Pro was originally released with a CUH-70xx model number. Later, Sony tweaked things under the hood and started shipping the CUH-71xx model of the Pro. Today, the RDRII bundle ships with a CUH-72xx Pro.If the PS5 pumps 4K at 60FPS, the first model may generate so much heat that the fans cause the console to levitate off the shelf unless you stick a potted plant on it. After a few months, Sony may figure out how to reduce the power consumption or improve the cooling and start shipping a model that doesn't need a potted plant. It would be better to wait for that PS5 model so you can focus on gameplay without having to worry about watering a plant.More importantly, two years is an eternity that you cannot allow to go to waste waiting for a PS5. In that time, you could sink 1000 hours into Horizon Zero Dawn, start a Twitch stream called "Make Some Shards", and become famous. Or, on a glum note, what if you catch an incurable disease before the PS5 comes out? Do you want to be thinking with your last breath, "I should have bought a PS4."? Of course not. That would suck.Life is short. Buy a PS4.

Should I buy (in India) a PS4 now and wait for the PS5 or buy a PS4 Pro and skip the PS5?

If you already have a 4K TV with HDR support, blindly go for the PS4 Pro. If you atleast have a 4K TV (with no HDR support), you can consider buying a PS4 Pro as you may still enjoy upscaled 4K visuals which are obviously better than 1080p visuals. (Although some 4K TVs have a mechanism to upscale non 4K content to near 4k. So, you can buy a normal PS4, and enjoy almost 4K like content on your 4K TV)If you do not have a 4K TV, just go for the normal PS4 as there wont be any point of you getting the PS4 pro. If you intend to be future proof (may be you will buy a 4K TV in the future), then, you may consider buying a PS4 pro.But 4K TVs with or without HDR are VERY VERY costly in India and the overall added advantage of playing a game in 4K is negligible when you consider the price of buying a 4K TV.I saw a video some days back in which the guy says that 4K playing experience was good but it was not mind blowing and it did not make him upgrade his PS4 to PS4 pro.I personally have a 4K TV (without HDR support) and I own a PS4 (bought last year). Keeping all these things in mind, I decided not to upgrade as my Samsung 4K TV already pretty much upscales non 4K visuals to near 4K.And, I also read in IGN’s article or The Verge (I dont remember) that Sony might be launching the next gen Playstation in 2018. (Just Saying…)
