The Transfer Of Data From The Computer System Is Called What

How can I transfer data between TI-83 and computer?

1. Make sure that your calculator, cable and computer OS are supported.
2. Make sure the calculator is on.
3. The calculator must be on the home screen.
4. Check the calculator connection.
- Turn the device off, unplug it, turn it back on and plug it back in.
5. Also check the connection between the computer and the cable.
6. If the calculator has no OS or has an older OS version, TI Connect may not recognize the device.
- At this point, you will need to update the OS. Before updating, please note that the calculator will not be found by the DeviceExplorer. Click Cancel and continue the download procedure as if the unit was found and the OS should install.
7. If using a serial cable, make sure that no other hardware or software is using the communication port.
8. Make sure that you are using the most current version of TI Connect.

USB cable users only
1. Try plugging the cable into a different USB port.
2. Make sure that the driver installed properly.
a. Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel > System
b. Click on the Hardware tab.
c. Click on the Device Manager button.
d. Click on the ¬+ sign to the left of the Universal Serial Bus Controllers section. This should expand the USB devices.
e. Locate the Texas Instruments Graphing Calculator driver.
f. If the item is listed as anything other then Texas Instruments SilverLink (USB GraphLink) Cable and or TI Educational Handheld Device, it will need to be updated. If the driver needs to be updated right click on it and choose Update Driver. Make sure that there are no CDs in the computer drives and then choose to run the update wizard automatically. When the wizard completes the proper driver should be installed and you should now be able to connect.
g. If the driver has the correct name but has a yellow mark such has an exclamation point or question mark, it will need to be updated. Use the previous procedure to update the driver.
h. If the driver is not found at all, check under Other or Unknown devices found in the Device Manager. If any are found, update the driver using the previous procedure.
i. If you are still unable to find the driver, uninstall and reinstall TI Connect.

What is a data transfer from one computer to another that is taken through a medium called?

“A medium” is rather general, but if you mean via floppies, USB drives, or other removable storage media, the traditional term is “sneakernet”.

How does data transfer through a network?

Networking and data transferringThe most dangerous process in a modern digital world is the connection to the Internet. Practically, all cyber crimes are committed through the Internet connection. In order to secure your web traffic, Google uses HTTPS protocol. This protocol provides Android mobile security with protection for privacy and integrity of the exchanged data.Google also gives you an opportunity to use an SMS method of data transferring to users (for example, the password recovering PIN). This kind of notification became possible with the help of Google Cloud Messaging (GCM). For adding this feature to your app, the coder should be competent in GCM service capabilities. We cannot omit the fact of Google Play safety. For clarity, let's look at the stages that apps should pass before being installed from Google Play.Layers of defense in Google PlayThe app must get through Google's 'Verify Apps' security feature helping to check for an APK on malware occurrence. Then, the app is sandboxed and restricted to the permission granted to it. Finally, Android conducts a recheck of the application every time it is run. ( by What should you know about the security applications in Android?)

Does the size of RAM affect speed of computer? If yes, how?

The speed is equally (directly) proportional to your RAM and Processor. You might have heard that the processor speed is calculated in cycles/hertz. (2.8GHz) It is the time taken to complete one memory cycle (fetching the instruction, processing, executing, etc.) The processors nowadays are optimized to execute instructions simultaneously either by Hyperthreading(Powerful single core) or Multi-threading(multiple cores executing different instructions simultaneouly) or the combination of both. Semaphores are in place to prevent and cure deadlocks.(ref. Quad-core CPUs, etc.) The place from where the processor gets these instructions is RAM. The bigger the RAM, the better it is for the CPU (used efficiently). If the RAM is, however, low then the instructions need to be loaded from secondary storage to RAM and then to processor. The processor stays idle until all the files have been loaded. So, if you've got a hybrid CPU with a lot of RAM, you can load and execute huge programs/processes with ease. If you've got good CPU but a little low on RAM, your programs would take time to load but once loaded, will be good to work with until you call up other programs or features from it, which would require more memory (like plug-ins on a web browser). If your RAM is high but your CPU is slow, the computer will be slow overall.Other than these, other factors such as your Computer's architecture, hardware, etc. play a major role in determining your speed. They include (not limited to) IDE/SATA cables, Hard-drive access, RPM of the Hard-drive, Solid state storage, etc.Hope I helped.
