What should I do about threatening note a neighbor left on my car?
How “threatening” was the note?If it was anything beyond a veiled threat regarding harm to you, your family or your property, I’d take it to the police or call their non-emergency number and have a unit stop by. While most people are full of crap when it comes to threats, there are a few who foolishly might give a warning before they commit a criminal act; or who detail an act that is considered to be criminal. The police are the ones who need to be notified and allowed to assess the seriousness of the threat,If it is a veiled threat or not very specific, I’d ignore it. Some people need to “vent” and their leaving threatening notes is a method for them to do so. Not a very intelligent method to do so as they are presuming that their note won’t result in their neighbor confronting them about the matter, and this resulting their own property getting damaged or themselves being harmed. In these cases, ignoring them will allow the matter to simply “go away.”Again, if you think or feel that you are potentially in danger, call the police. If you don’t feel any personal danger, then I would simply ignore the note until (or if) something happens again.

Maybe they need it for body parts because those are expensive at a body shop. If you do not want to sell just forget it. If you think you might want to sell call them but do not give out any info -- such as your address or you might end up with a stripped car. Don't even give out your home phone because they can reverse check it. Also even from a cell phone tbey can use a location app. So use a friends phone. If you meet them take some friends. If you sell tell them you only take cash. I think they want to buy it for parts. I left a note once on a car I wanted for parts
I left a note on a state trooper’s windshield because he illegally parked in 2 handicapped spots at a gas station. He saw me and said I was lucky that he didn’t write me a ticket for illegally touching police property. Is that even legal?
Not legal. What if you were walking by that vehicle and had to put your hand on it for a moment to keep from falling? You were not doing anything malicious in the slightest. The officer was caught red handed and was trying to save face. Many years ago I worked restaurant management for a 24 hour chain. Police officers would come in all hours of the night on their breaks and we always have them their meals for free. The expectation was that they provided us some security from would be criminals as they patronized our establishment. One Saturday night as a state officer sat eating his meal at our coffee counter, a waiter informed me that a drunken fight had broken out in our parking lot. I looked out the window and sure enough someone was going to get hurt out there. I quickly went to the state patrol man eating his meal and asked if he could go outside and break up this fight before it got any further out of hand. He proceeded to tell me he would get to it after he finished his food. I got more than a little upset at his response and asked him what kind of police officer he was. I then walked back into our kitchen area to assist the cook who was overly busy with orders. The state police officer, obviously embarrassed, came over to the food pass through window and poked his head under the heat lamps to tell me that he could arrest me for my comments to him. About that moment his afro caught fire from the heat lamp and he forgot about everything else for a minute while he patted his hair like crazy to put out the fire. Talk about hilarious. There was no legal reason he could arrest me that night. Same way, this officer had nothing to arrest you for either.
I just got left a threatening letter what do i do?
about 4 days ago i rear ended a car, very very lightly, the man pulled over to a nearby gas station and while he was doing that there was too much traffic for me to as well, people were honking at me to move and im 16 and i honestly had no idea whatsoever to do i was just nervous, i passed the gas station and as soon as i could went back to the gas station to see what happened, the car had left, 4 days later, today, i go out to my car and find a note typed on computer paper under my windshield reading this. "I know who you are. I know what you did. You really think you can get away by driving off? You didnt think I was going to get your license plate numbers and find out who you were? Do you have any idea who you're ******* with? Let me tell you something pal. It's people like you I decieve these days. its people like you who cause ******* problems in this world. If you think for a second you can get away with this, then good luck with that pal. I'll show you what I can do to make your life a living hell. Call the police I dare you. What do you think they will do track down my writing? Don't move from your townhouse on (my street). It'll be so hard to track you down because it's not like im that smart right?" signed your friend :) What do I do? please help

Radical Islam.They do it all the time. I’m very Left Wing, but the Left Wing and moderate Muslims in the the United States are basically apologists for Radical Islam (the people who are willing to kill others for their faith or ideologies).This is how bad it is. I was living in the Southern Confederacy. And I supported Barak Obama. There may have been two other people in the county who did. I was married to one of them.At the gym I was wearing a black work-out T-shirt imprinted with the words “obama 2008”. Pretty understated, right? And, although I was living below the Mason-Dixon Line, this was America, right? Well, some of the locals did not think so.When I left the gym, a “Christian” YMCA, beneath the windshield wiper of my pickup truck was a note that 1) accused me of being a “race traitor” and used some other language I do not desire to repeat, and 2) threatened criminal acts.The threatening nature of the note, however, was diminished by the fact that 1) it was obviously written by someone who found the act of holding a pen and actually forming letters an uncommon and exceedingly difficult act; 2) it was replete with misspellings and grammatical errors; and 3) it had been written on the insert for a really bad redneck, country western music CD!I laughed. Did the call sound like this? You Hit My Car If so then one of your friends or family members just pranked you. I did this to my younger brother once. It is the voice of a tall-sounding deep-voiced African American male claiming you hit their car and left your number on it. "So you da one who hit my car" *pauses for 2 seconds to let the recipient whine or deny it* "Listen B you scratched my fender and busted out my tail-light..."This conversation can go on for like a minute or two.If not.... who cares? Unless the person called you on your home phone, they can't know where you live. They also have no evidence, especially if your car is completely undamaged.

Nope. As long as you don’t threaten violence you’re good. If you don’t want to touch their vehicle, use chalk.Sometimes the fire department will correct the parking problem.But just leaving a note is not any type of crime. However decorating the car, inside and out, may be considered trespass. But it is funny.In my mind the greatest Kickstarter ever was You Park Like Shit Cards but it didn't get funded. Why, I don't know. But I pledged for 10 sets and I would have passed them out like a drunken banker handing out home loans from the trunk of a car in 2006!
