Why is the skin inside lip peeling after brushing?
(A picture would help).My first thought was an allergic reaction but after reading all the responses and comments, I wonder if it's traumatic. Either due to bristles or head of toothbrush or your lower lip being pressed too hard on your upper teeth while you sleep.Some other possibilities I will throw out...- dehydration. If you're a mouth breather at night you might be dehydrating the tissues. Though this is typically seen in both upper and lower anterior tissues, perhaps your lip position at night might be causing it.- toothpaste hypersensitivity. Given that you noticed it after changing toothpastes, seems like there might be a correlation. I'd suggest doing allergy tests to check.- any change in diet? - any other general symptoms? Malaise? Rash elsewhere? For now, my suggestion would be what my other colleagues have suggested. Use a simple (nothing fancy added) toothpaste. After a week if symptoms persist then stop toothpaste altogether and brush with water only (hope you're using an electric toothbrush). Try changing your toothbrush head (just in case it has some remnants of the toothpaste on it). Drink plenty of water over the next week (3-4 liters)Notice your lower lip position at rest and see if it's getting caught in the upper teeth. Will add if I think of more.
I threw up after using tampons, do i have tss?
ok i started using tampax pearl tampons, the first few days i felt normal. The next day thought i felt like vomiting so i did. This was my first time using tampons, i took the tampon out and now i havent used tampons since but would like to since they are eaiser for sports. Do i have tss??
What will happen if i throw up Tylenol?
Nothing bad will happen if you do throw up the Tylenol. Sounds like you are ill-- might be best to get in bed to get rid of the headache. If you have a fever or otherwise need Tylenol when you are throwing up they make it in a suppository form as well and it is very effective. But no harm will come to you from throwing-up the Tylenol.
Rash that comes after the flu?
I have had the flu for approx 48hrs. Started off the first day waking up with bad diarrhea, like pure water. Then about 2 in the afternoon here comes the fever. Low grade never over 100. My stomach was bothering my but not enough to vomit. Day two I was still having diarrhea and seemed a little more nauseated. Couldn't smoke and eat anything. I did throw up once. Today (day 3) I feel a lot better. Stomach is still making some awful noises but I really need to eat too. Diarrhea has lessened (so far). But now I have this small rash on both my hands. Feels like kind of a dry skin rash, And I was reading a lot of message boards and information and it says that a rash often times follows the flu. Basically a sign that the flu is leaving your body. Haven't had the flu in years because I've been getting the shot but I didn't this year and it's turned out to be a mistake as I'm a CNA and work around elderly and a lot of them have the flu right now, including those who had the flu shot. just wondering what you have experienced with a rash after the flu? Thanks!
Will i get skin cancer from this sunburn? pics!?
ok so this summer i got about 3 bad sunburns and one HORRIBLE one..i was throwing up from it and i didn't sleep for 3 days straight because it hurt so bad. I couldn't even put aloe vera on because of how bad it hurt to touch..and i just stayed in my swimsuit top for 3 days because it hurt to move clothing or have anything touching my skin... i heard something about how one horrible sunburn causes skin cancer...im really worried. http://i575.photobucket.com/albums/ss194... all of the brown/white/red dots are blisters...and look at the tops/sides of my shoulders and how peeled they are!!
