To Go Hiking With Friends But All My High Heels Buy A Pair Of Comfortable Shoes Just To See A

How do I walk wearing high heels?

well, i am a 5′9″ 16 y/o girl . i have never really worn heels (i got the height, man) but i was a bridesmaid in a wedding overseas this summer and i got the glorious opportunity to wear high heels! the beauties looked a lot like these:but, none of my aunts, grandmas, cousins or even my mom bothered to teach me how to walk in them. (i really have a crappy family) i struggled so much in the days leading up to the wedding, desperately trying not to fall and break my nose in front of hundreds of people. it was horrible. i guess you could say we weren’t soulmates (so so sorry for that joke guys) so, i used my handy dandy google to teach me how to be a woman. here’s what I learned:Begin by standing in the heelsThe easiest way to look like an amateur in heels is to put your whole foot down at once as if you're wearing flats. When wearing heels, put your heel down first, followed by your toe. This will make your walk look more natural.Keep your chin up and be sure to relax your knees while walking heel to toeWe all ain’t WALL-E, so keep your arms and hands moving freely at your sides. Its all about balance, balance, balance! Take your time making small steps.Improve your posture. And smile. No one wants to see a pretty girl scowling in heels. :)Hope I helped! :)

How do you get stylish but comfortable high heels?

I think the only key to a comfy pair of heels is that they've been nicely worn in. Obviously they'd have to be fairly comfortable in the first place and not rub or anything, but if you find a pair that does that, in time they will be your favourites.
Also, people who wear heels a lot are more used to them ... practice makes perfect I guess?

What kind of shoes do young women wear?

there's really a wide variety to choose from.
you go with some cute strappy things like: http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/d6/...
or maybe some simple shoes with small detail:http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_5OAhHuoVIHs/SQ...
or if it's colder, definitely go with some nice boots like: http://cdn.overstock.com/images/products...
or you could even "prep" up some converse, like in these outfits:http://www.limelife.com/R/ResourceModule/generated/08.23.08.am.style.converse_w_546_h_746.jpg
just gotta know how to wear them =)

if you need more ideas, start checking out everyones' shoes and decide what you do and don't like. Also go into some local shoe shops and try on different pairs to see if they're comfortable enough =)
one last idea is to check out ebay.com and you might find something nice :)

hope this has been helpful! good luck =)

Have you ever regretted wearing your high(est) heels on a night out?

The worst pain of my life was around November when I wore my 4 inch heel booties at a club. There wasnt enough alcohol in the world to numb the pain. I guess the height was pushing my toes up against the front of the bootie the whole time. I was dying and pissed off and wanted to go home!

How can I get used to wearing heels?

Your foot muscles just have to get used to wearing heels. Rest when they hurt but try wearing them again later or the next day. Your feet have to get used to the strain. :)

I don't know what kinds exactly but you can try getting some comfy stuff especially made for wearing heels to ease the stress in your foot muscles. :) I'm not familiar with them though but maybe you can ask your co workers, relatives or friends who may know.
