What happens if you take naproxen and ibuprofen together?
Both belong to a class of drug called as non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), but having a bit difference in bio-availability & duration of action.Ibuprofen is recommended for mild pain to fever but Naproxen is recommended for pain and swelling associated with inflammatory joint diseases like arthritis, ankylosing spodylitis, acute gout, tendinitis and bursitis.Since both drugs belongs to NSAIDs, So some is taking it to gather it may increase the risk of side effects, like GI bleeding and stomach upset, cardiomyopathy, Kidney Failure,This combination should be avoided.
Is it safe to take another aleve?
Did you get hit in the head, or fall down or something that could have caused a concussion? You can take another Alleve, but before doing so make sure you don't have a concussion. Took 375mg of Aleve around 9pm, safe to take another?
I have a severe headache from lack of sleep. I suffer from insomnia and do take sleep aids, the problem is getting rid of the headache to get to sleep. I had caffeine earlier, as well, did not help. Is it safe to take another 375mg's of Aleve? It's prescription and I cannot shake this headache otherwise. Laying down doesn't make it any better either, nor do cold packs.
