Tour In India 3g Sim For International Traveller

I just got back from Beijing and there are a couple of orange color self dispensing machine selling "snail mobile" SIM CARD. my travel mate bought the one at RMB60 and it was the mest RMB60 she spent in the entire trip.Data was sufficient for heavy usage for our entire 7 days trip plus some talking time. There was a girl there assisting us to. It was simple plug and play really. Forget about China Mobile and Unicom that I had bad experience wit in past China tripsCome out from the arrival hall turn right walk for 30 seconds and the orange machine is on your right. Google a bit i am sure they are in other China airports too.

Traveling to Netherlands has never been easier if you use an international sim card that is hassle free & affordable. As a frequent traveler I always see to it that my local sim is still intact and no need to switch every time I travel. As a satisfied customer let me tell you about Flexiroam here are the reasons:1.) You don’t need to change your current sim every time you travel, because Flexiroam uses a microchip sticker to be attached to your current sim. Less hassle specially for frequent travelers (buying local sim for every country is doable but why bother if you can have one)2.) Coverage of almost 120+ countries all around the world and 46 countries around Europe (And currently expanding)3.) Cheap rates according to your needs & budget. Also there will be an upcoming Black Friday & Cyber Monday buy 1 take 1 promo.Save the code XFLASHX and set your reminder.Offer starts tomorrow 24 Nov. & 27 Nov.

It is always better to opt for a local sim in each country compared to someone opting for a sim from India and then taking it to different parts of the world with roaming activated in it.Airtel, I believe will work in most places worldwide but will be very costly and not suggestable. As already stated above, go for a local sim of that country which offers cheap calling rates to India as well as data pack.Your passport should be enough to get you a local sim in any country.P.S.:- Above answers are all based on my experience in Thailand, Malaysia and UK.

I would personally suggest buying a SIM card upon reaching Europe. Matrix Ones are expensive and may not be the best. You can get a ‘Free Mobile’ SIM which offers free roaming across entire Europe except Switzerland. This comes in both prepaid and postpaid. Free mobile has wifi options at various prominent places which the users are entitled to use it for free beyond the data usage they offer you. If you opt for postpaid, you can get free calls to anywhere in Europe, from any place along with 50 GB of data per month. The cost is 20 EUR (Rs. 1500 approx) per month. I am sure there are other good operators like Virgin Mobile which might have similar plans. You can visit their European websites if you want to know the latest information and tariffs.

Funnily enough prepaid cards of India work automatically on international roaming. Not so for postpaid cards, wherein you have to activate International roaming for making calls. In either case, while incoming SMSes and calls may be free, you spend heavily for outgoing calls.Singapore is very friendly for tourists. It may work out cheaper if you buy a prepaid card locally and use it. They usually come with a 6 month validity so you can either lend it to a friend who is visiting Singapore next or use it yourself during your next visit. :-). Or just top it up to extend the validity….A $32/- Happy Travel Sim Card from Starhub gives you Local 10-Day 15GB data & roaming Data of 2GB for 10 days. Whereas a 50$ card gives you 10-Day 15GB and 30-day 5 GB respectively. This is especially useful if you have plans to visit Batam (Indonesia & visa on arrival) or any part of Malaysia or Thailand. And best thing with this card is International calls from Singapore to India are free..!!Similarly the other popular SErvice Provider Singtel also has differenct packages., starting from $15/-. You can look up Happy Travel Sim Cards or Singapore's Best Prepaid Tourist SIM: Packed with everything you need. You can also check and confirm with Airtel about applicable rates for outgoing & incoming calls and make an informed decisionCAUTION : Come 1st April 2017, all Singapore Mobile service providers will cease 2G network island-wide. Voice, SMS and data services will be disrupted if you are on a 2G-only handset/device. If you are already on a 3G/4G handset, you will not be affected.

Hi there.Welcome to Dubai. There are two network carriers in the UAE; Du and Etisalat. It is said that Du has a better overall service but Etisalat has more network coverage area.Since you are here for just one week so it doesn’t matter much which one you buy. Each carrier offers different calling and data pack packages. Have a look at the links below.International Calling:Etisalat: International Calling OfferDu: International Calls Savings Offer | duMobile Data Packs:Etisalat: Prepaid Mobile Data PlansDu: Data Packs & Packages | duInformation for activation is provided under the same links. If you want to use the internet just for navigation and social etc. then you can go for Etisalat’s One Week Packs (7 Days Validity) and under there for 1GB pack. This will cost you AED 50.Combo Packs:Combo packs offer data + flexible calling minutes. Flexible minutes means you can call both locally and internationally.Etisalat: http://www.etisalat.ae/nrd/en/ge...The smallest monthly combo pack from Etisalat offers 100MB data, 1GB social data (Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, LinkedIn) and 60 flexi minutes for just AED 40.Du: Extra Social - Prepaid Plans | duDu also has similar offers. So in the end you have a lot of options with both carriers to choose from. As said earlier it doesn’t matter much for you which carrier to go for as both offer similar deals. Its however important to chose the right data package. I would recommend to go for a combo pack.

Simply call your cell operator and tell them to activate international roaming.Mind it cost will be very high. They will ask you the duration of the travel, once you come back deactivate the same. However calls maybe cheaper in comparison to data use…they charge as high as Rs.1 per KB.Tip 1: Activate your international roaming, use wi-fi where available. I once asked a gogo bar, they gave me the password.Tip 2: Buy True Move Sim or any other local service provider from airport. They give you excellent data packages. You just have to show your passport to get the sim. Matrix has lot of hidden charges I won’t recommend.Read this blog it is useful Solo Traveling Packing Tips - MAST YATRI

Having used True and 12Call and Dtac at the present time I can say all the speeds are comparable.  All three offer HSPA + with speeds up to 42 Mbps.   So the next question is coverage.  If you will travel to any of the top 10-20 destinations in Thailand, all 3 have 3G coverage now.   Price: All 3 offer 3 GB monthly 3G data plans, with unlimited EDGE speeds,  for between 650 and 899 Baht.  DTAC and True have the edge here being the first 3G networks.   A WiFi bundle is offerend by 12Call and True, with True having the larger WiFi network -both are unlimited and part of the package.Details on all 3 packages here: 3G Data Plans for 12Call, DTAC and TrueFinally social responsibility: True is massive, with deep connections in government  and owned by CP Group.  Many view them as the reason 3G has be slow to come to Thailand, as they try to milk their government concessions to get control of the market.AIS is the largest GSM network, owned by InTouch (ShinCorp) is the wealth engine behind the ousted PM, Taksin.  DTAC is owned by Telnor of Norway. The underdog network, decided not to wait for 3G licensee and began offering it to customers. So in the end if you need cheapest price = True,  best service and good value = DTAC  Most coverage = AIS 12Call
