How can i lose my "love handles"? and fast?

i've always had a hard time losing my hips/"love handles".
it's the one part of my body thats the worst.

does anyone know any GOOD excersices i can do that will deff. help lose them? and has anyone had this problem and lost their "love handles" that would be nice enough to share your experiance and how fast you got the results.

thank you.

I weigh 187 lbs. I’m fat and I have love handles, how many days should I water fast in order to lose them?

Just water fasting is not going to help you lose your weight. You need to do more than that to start making progressDiet: Yes intermittent fasting has shown to help lose weight. But the biggest change you need to make is to change your diet. You can find meal plans customized to meet your goals online. You would ideally want to follow a caloric deficit meal plan. In other words you will need to eat lesser calories that you burn. Avoid processed food, sugar, alcohol, fatty food etc. You have to start eating clean and healthy. The biggest factor is to find a diet that you can sustain.Exercise: I’m not saying just walking 10,000 steps a day. While walking 10,000 steps a day is indeed good for your overall health it isn’t going to be enough to see results fast enough. You need to start weight training 3–4 days a week with some light cardio. You should be lifting heavy and working every part of your body without fail. Every 4 weeks you needs to change up your routine to prevent your body from getting used to a workoutSleep & water: Get plenty of sleep and drink plenty of water everyday. They play a huge role in your general well being and also helps your body recover from your intense workouts.

My love handles won't go away?

I'm 17 and I've been working out for the past three months. I started out pretty small but my aim was to lose a little fat and gain muscle. I've made a lot of progress.. I'm even starting to be able to see my abs! My thighs are like.. solid.. and my biceps are actually defined when I flex.

At first I started out with a lot of cardio and then did a combination of strength and cardio and now I'm mostly doing strength with one day of HIIT per week. I've also been eating totally clean this entire time. The past two weeks I've been eating some healthy, but processed foods because I've been really busy and with other people. Normally I'm very strict about it though.

I've been using a measuring tape to track my progress and in total I think I've lost like an inch around my love handles. That was at two months of progress... now I'm at the end of month three. I measure on the 9th but I checked a week ago and I haven't lost anything from my love handles. That's the only place I checked. It's really frustrating! I'm scared to lose a lot more fat because if I stretch enough you can see my ribs through my back.. so I'm really trying to build muscle there. I'm not too skinny, but I will be if I lose a whole lot more fat. My love handles are just so frustrating though! Especially seeing that I haven't made any progress on them!

Should I start up cardio again? How often should I do it? I don't want to lose muscle. I would be using the treadmill by the way.. for where I live, it works better. I just really want them gone! It's also almost my period and I can't see my abs and my love handles are especially bad because of bloating.. how do I get rid of bloating? I've been drinking a lot of water and it's helped a little but hasn't solved it.

So yeah.. why are my love handles not going away? Why am I not making any more progress? I was losing a half inch per month. And how do I get rid of this really bad bloating/water retention?

Love handles - are they permanent?

I'm 19 years old, pretty active and eat really, really healthy ... 5"5 and 135 lbs. and over the past 3 or so years I've developed big love handles (or "muffin top") but I have been the same weight ever since eighth grade. I've been researching it and it seems as though you can actually develop love handles from wearing your jeans too low/tight, which I am guilty of. So now the question is, are they permanent? Just recently, I've been buying better fitting jeans that aren't so low. I've always done oblique exercises to get rid of them, but it doesn't seem to help.
Thanks in advance.

I'm a fat person, and even though I'm trying to slim down, I was wondering if anyone would like the fat me?

You are who you are. Do not try to lose weight to get people to like you. If you do lose weight do so to help improve your health. People who do not like someone because they are fat… are not worth having around you. Maybe having extra weight is good to keep away those shallow people. People like people who are confident and at ease with who they are. I know skinny people who I would not have dated when I was dating. (Back then we still had over 2 and a half decades to wait before iPhones came out!). I wanted someone who had a sense of self confidence yet was not self centered. My spouse and I each have to go on diets to shed pounds for health reasons, so that should tell you that I did not marry the skinniest girl. So try to lose weight to help your health. If other things happen that is fine but do not date someone who thinks only of physical attributes because hey we all age, put on a few pounds and look different over time.
