Trying To View A Tumblr Post I Made On September 30th

How do you see what time something was posted on tumblr?

some themes don't state the time you've posted something.
try going to the individual post's page, and it will probably say what time it is posted down the bottom, that's what mine does.
if this doesn't work, try changing your theme to a popular one on the theme garden.

hope this helped.

How can I embed tweets in a standalone WordPress blog?

I'm not a fan of screenshots to be honest. They lack the "favourite" and the "retweet" button. You can't do this cool trick with them:After publishing this article and went ahead and tweeted it out. Then I copied the embed code of my tweet and pasted it at the end of my article. Now once people finish reading the article, they see my ready-made tweet and they can easily retweet it just by clicking on the retweet icon:That is what I do when I need to embed a tweet. But when I need to embed a quote and make my readers tweet that quote, it looks like this:As you can see this time that's not someone's tweet that I've embedded. That's a quote by Richard Branson that I've used in my article, and people can tweet it our just by clicking on it.This little trick is called "tweetable quotes".Read more about it here: How To Create “Tweetable Quotes” That Make Your Readers Tweet More Often

Who was right in the movie Civil War: Captain America or Iron Man?

Captain America maybe portrayed as the leader but he is a boy scout and an irritating one at that. He is just like superman but weaker and more uptight. Chris Evans plays the role well but I always thought captain America was an overrated hero. They are the nerds of superheroes. Not many people like them and they get burned. He was out of touch with reality. Tony did say, “This has to be done or it will be done to us”. Captain was a fool.Get this. Captain America was the sole reason for the Civil War. His thick head and blind affection for Bucky Barnes led to so much damage and I will also have him take the blame for Thanos killing half the universe. He is a grade a ass in this storyline. What were Captain America's reasons?- Bucky was his friend and he was not in a right state of mind (You can't have the insanity plea everywhere. What if Bucky had caused a nuclear war? Would Mr. Moron go on and defend him then?)- He didn't trust the oversight committee (because he was stung by shield)That's it. He had no other reason besides thisWhat were Iron Man's reasons?- It was personal. Winter Soldier or Bucky, the same person killed his parents.- Tony was the only one who had a vision for the world. Even Ultron was made with the best intentions. Also, Cap was his friend. Talk about double standards! If you notice, Tony could easily have bombed the shit out of that building and easily killed both captain and his brain addled friend. He didn't. Captain on the other hand owed his strength to the stark family. Yeah, in the MCU we saw Howard stark as a part of the super Soldier experiment. Talk about ultimate betrayal.Where is the friendship here? This guy flew him into a warzone, gave him a shield and gear and help make him a Super SoldierCaptain America protected his killer. Betrayal? When all is said and done, Captain America has always been an idiot with muscle who irritatingly never gives up. Pure braun and no brain or regard for another man's feelings. He foolishly almost got himself in the winter Soldier movie saying that he couldn't kill his friend. He stood for what he believed in but that never stopped him from being an ass.

How would you respond if you say "Can I use the bathroom?" and a teacher says "I don't know, can you?"

This happens All The Time. I truly cannot wrap my head around why teachers think this is so clever? It’s mostly annoying, implicitly condescending, and a big waste of everyone’s time. Anyway, to answer your question: This has happened to me, countless times, and by the time I was just about finished with school, I’d had enough. It was my senior year of college. I was 22 years old, in my second semester; mere weeks away from graduation. It was my last class of the day, Social Psychology. It was also a ‘Lab’ day, which meant we were required to stay for the duration of a 4 hour lecture/laboratory session. 4 hours is a long time to “hold it.”Around the 3-hour mark, I got up to use the restroom, as we were independently working on our lab assignments at this point. The professor headed me off at the doorway. Her eyes locked in an even, impatient stare: “Where are you going?”I was taken aback. I was a full-grown adult. It was normal for students to come and go during lab time, and I hadn’t left the classroom since class began, 3 hours prior.I stammered: “I, uh, I need to use the restroom?”She stared back, remaining unmoved. I tried again: “Professor, can I please use the facilities?” (Potty-dancing at this point, because I always push the limits of how long I can “hold it.”)Her eyes answered before her mouth could; they danced and sparkled, like she had some kind of clever secret. The corner of her mouth pulled up, creasing her eyes, and she said: “I don’t know, can you?”I felt my blood boil. I tried to take a deep breath, maybe two?Time stood still as I politely side-stepped her, opened the door, and walked out into the hall, toward the women’s restroom.I realized the error in my ways a few steps out the door; I turned, saw the professor staring at me, mouth hanging open.“Sorry, professor! Really! But I CAN and HAVE TO GO!” And ran into the restroom.*facepalm* Sometimes my stubbornness gets the best of me.The rest of the semester was a little strained, as I’m sure you can imagine.

How long did it take you to get 1000+ followers on your blog and what is the best advice you'd give to someone starting a blog?

When you speak of followers on your blog, I'm assuming you mean consistent traffic? In any case, it can be quite easy. I launched a travel blog Adventure Seeker (Launched and in a month or two had over 1000 followers) after learning from growth strategies I used on my first blog Creative Guerrilla Marketing (currently has 92,000 followers on Facebook and 16.7 followers on Twitter.) Here is what I learned and some advice.Tips to gain traffic to a new blogI'm sure you hear this a lot, but content is king. Spend the time to write  a couple good articles before you launch and schedule them. Keep in mind some people are ADD and we are visual creatures. With that being said, use really good photography and list based articles seem to do well for me.If you haven't already, set up social media pages for your blog. Facebook and Twitter is a MUST.Try running a promotion or contest. I created a Facebook page and used http://Offerpop.com  to do a Facebook contest. I spent $100 and got 1,000 relevant followers on Facebook. This way I had a small sample to feed my content to. Go for the share. Again, images are awesome.

How can a beginner artist get more followers on Instagram?

It doesn’t matter if you’re an artist or a carpenter. Having a big following won’t be equal to success on Instagram unless you have clear visions or clear goals you want to achieve. So before anything, think of what exactly you want from Instagram. Social proof? Sales? Engagement? The most important thing to be successful is to take “luck” out of the equation & create a strategy you can measure. That being said, here are the main 3 ways you can build a following on Instagram.Free trafficFollow other artists that have a similar audience as you do & Also follow their followers. When these artists shares new posts, comment on them and follow everyone who likes the post. Those people are online and they will more likely follow you back. The more you give the more you get (read Persuasion from Cialdini if you don’t believe me).Collab with influencersOne of the most effective way to gain instant authority & a following is by doing share 4 share. Find an artist that has a similar audience & audience size as you.Once you found such an influencer, contact him/her and ask him/her to share an image (with your Username in the caption included) with his/her audience. They will expect from you to do the same. The fact that you’re being introduced, his/her following will be more likely to follow you.Paid trafficThere are tons of site where you can basically pay an influencer for a shoutout. depending on how big the influencers’s following is, the prices may vary. But, if you have a budget I highly recommend you to do this for fast results.here is a list:ShoutcartBuy ShoutoutIG ShoutoutFeatureHubBuilding a big following is not as hard as people make you think it is. But, having a following that isn’t engaging is the same as not having a following at all.Think of what you actually want to achieve from Instagram before even considering trying these techniques out. From there you will understand what message you need to convey to have the best reponse from your audience.I’m a teacher on Skillshare and I made a little class about Instagram marketing. In the class I tackle every aspect of Instagram marketing. From branding to monetization. The class is free for the first 25 people, go watch it. I’ve also made a pdf that you can download. Enjoy!
