Two Different Versions Of The Mind

Can you have two different versions of QuickBooks installed on the same client computer?

You can install and run multiple versions and editions of QuickBooks on the same computer. Different versions can be open at the same time whereas different editions must be opened one at a time.A version is the numeric notation of the product's release. Examples are QuickBooks 2012 and Enterprise 12.0.An edition refers to the set of features included in a product. Examples are Pro, Premier, and Accountant Edition. Before you install multiple versions, note the following:Multiple versions (such as QuickBooks 2012 and 2011) can be used at the same time. When you work in Premier 2012 and need to open Premier 2011, you don't need to close Premier 2012 before you open Premier 2011.Only one QuickBooks edition (such as QuickBooks Premier and Enterprise) can be used at one time. When you work in Premier 2012 and need to open Enterprise 12.0, you must close Premier before you open Enterprise.Data files cannot be shared between Enterprise Solutions and other QuickBooks versions, or between different years. For example: If you primarily use Premier and want to try out Enterprise Solutions, opening the Premier data file in Enterprise Solutions will irreversibly update the data file so that it can no longer be used in Premier. (To try a different edition, open a sample file in the edition you're interested in, instead of opening your company file.)If you open a Premier 2011 data file in Premier 2012, QuickBooks updates the data file so that it can no longer be used in Premier 2011.Steps to install the manual update are different. When you update QuickBooks using a manual update, you are prompted to choose which edition to update when more than one edition is installed.Note: This information applies to installing different editions of the same version. Use these steps to install more than one version for the same or different editions. Different editions of the same version all use one installation location. As a result, QuickBooks automatically assigns the installation folder when you install a second edition on one computer. To install a second edition, complete the installation as you normally would and allow QuickBooks to set the installation location for you.Hope this information helps you.http://‎https://community.intuit...

Is it normal to feel like having two different people inside you?

I am going to assume the questioner is asking about that feeling of having more than one person in your head, the feeling that you can ask a question of your own mind and debate the possible answers, arguing pro’s and con’s like two separate people (all inside your own mind).Richard Dawkins has written a theory of this and refers to it as the ‘Little Green Man’ he attaches an evolutionary need to us having this ability, the need for us to be able to propound a solution, to make a decision based on limited or indeed zero information. Something drove us to leave the trees and to wander bi-pedially across the savannah not knowing if life could be better in front of us but being prepared to give it a shot and see how it turned out.Stephen Pinker has also written on this though this area of inner Sentience is not a well defined and clearly understood area of psychology. If you read enough psychology the theory of ‘the other mind in ones mind’ is generally accepted but there is/are no factual theoretical attributions anyone can give it. So whilst we all have this inner mind, this person that will argue with the ‘better angels of our nature’ there are no texts that say ‘we do this because of this’. This secondary field of inner sentience is ‘suggestive’ rather than theorised. However in direct response to your question, yes it is normal to have two persons inside your mind.If however you are asking about having two different people inside of you ‘literally’ I have to refer you to Mike Berrings response which is in my mind Gifted!!

Is it really possible that there are different versions of you that exist in the mind of everyone who knows you?

Yes, and it is very likely./We act different towards everyone, like a different person. It is not just about liking anyone. We perceive everyone like how they present themselves, and how do we interact with them, and depending on that, we present ourselves to them.We interact differently with friends, classmates, co-workers, superiors, juniors, parents, relatives, cousins, siblings, spouses, kids, lovers, doctors, lawyers, etc, however, it varies from person to person. We vary ourselves in minor-looking ways which we even ourselves fail to notice - such as slight adjustments in voice-tone, sound pitch, body-language, facial expressions, eye-movements, eye contact, passive-aggression, posture, stuttering etc, and some obvious ways such as keeping secrets, sharing our grieves, “bitching” about others, etc.Depending upon that interaction, they create an image of you in their mind and they associate you with that image. This image may or may not change over time. A person who you are close-with and spend a lot of time with, is more likely to change his image of you over time, as greater number of events allow for a better average of you, or be less influenced by extremes. For people who you don’t meet with a lot, every interaction can change your image or “version” of you in their mind, unless some particularly unforgettable incident (whether good or bad) is associated with any of your meetings, and that creates the strongest image of you in their mind. This is why people easily trust those who help them during great losses (like loss of a loved one or family member).

Is "never mind" one word or two?

Spell check says "never mind"
But I've spelled it "nevermind" for as long as I can remember...my English teachers never admonished me for it.

Do you write it as "nevermind"?
I just think it looks better :o

Is this a direct quotation of Romans 12:2? And what version is this?

"Do not be conformed any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind......"

I've heard someone condemn this quote, because they reasoned, just because it came from the Bible, it doesn't mean it's not corrupted! it's not even King James 1611! They said it wasn't a "direct" translation/quotation!

Is there two versions of the movie The Lovely Bones ?

I seriously just noticed this! I've been watching the DVDs for years and I just watched it on Netflix and it's almost completely different, I have no idea why. The Netflix version has extra information so I liked it better but I'm still so confused

I sometimes talk to myself in two completely different tones. Do I have split personality disorder?

While I only have a BA in psychology, Dissociative Disorders were a focus of much of my studies, particularly what is currently defined as Dissociative Identity Disorder, or DID (previously Multiple Personality Disorder).  While I am not qualified to diagnose or treat it, I am competent to discuss it.First off, it's rare to only have two personalities.  Most multiples have several (as I recall, the mean is around 15 with a standard dev. of about 4, but that goes back to research done in the 1990's and may not be accurate any longer).   If you "only" feel you have two, the odds are lower that it's DID.One key  diagnostic criteria is amnesia between parts of the personalities: meaning that a "personality" doesn't always remember what one or more of the others did at a given time.  In some cases, one or more personalities are completely isolated from the others, and one or more know everything about the others.  A key indication of possible DID is the patient having "black" periods - gaps in memory they cannot explain (though, on occasion, the mind compensates with false or modified memories). It should be noted that most psychiatric disorders are not considered disorders unless they cause significant disruption to the patient's life.  If you are able to hold down a job, participate in common activities, engage in a relationship, it is typically not diagnosed.  However, lack of disruption does not preclude the underlying problem from existing: just from being a "disorder."The vast majority of cases of DID appear to involve severe physical, emotional, and/or sexual trauma as a child or adolescent.  If that does not apply to you, the odds are very much against you having DID.  It is, of course, possible that your memories of any such abuse are locked away within one alter personality, but that's fairly uncommon.So... what, if anything, is "wrong" with you?  Harder to say.  but it certainly sounds like it's worth going to a qualified mental health practitioner and discussing it. Whatever the case is: good luck.

Can two minds exist in one brain?

It appears to us that mind ,consciousness are divided into different compartment. But mind is one, conscious is one. Human being consists of body, mind and consciousness.Mind is is similar to computer as its memory contains all information. Consciousness is comparable to feeling, your spontaneity, your intelligence. You become conscious of your body , your mind, and thoughts playing inside it. Mind contains all thoughts.Let us say, you have different choices to consider for carrying out a job. Let us say, you decide a path to take. It is your mind which has guided you to follow it. You may find a small voice suggesting you to follow another path. This small voice is your your consciousness, your intelligence.Unfortunately, most of us follow what mind guides. So we land in , anger, tension, worry etc. If we follow the small voice, then it promises eternal happiness, and joy.
