Youtube won't work in full screen mode?
The solution to your problem may well depend on which version of "flash" you have installed. While the video is in regular mode (not "full screen"), right-click on the video itself. From the drop-down menu, click "Settings". If you get 5 icons on the very bottom row, you might be in luck. The first 2 icons should both show you a monitor. Click the one which shows a symbol on the bottom of its screen (usually the first icon). You should thus get "Enable hardware acceleration". Whatever the box shows you, click the opposite, and then click on "Close". Although my advice seemingly goes against the basic principle of "flash player", it actually works. Please double-check yourself by going to Flash's own website. I can only open one tab on internet explorer a second tab just freezes and won't open?
Home page opens ok (Yahoo), search for a website opens list of possibilities ok, next click on a choice opens second tab and just freezes on white screen . Using windows 7 (64 bit system) and I have tried opening IE directly from program both plain and x86 directories. Used to have an IE icon that said 64 bit that no longer exists? Tried downloading 64 bit version of IE from MS but it said I already had a newer version.
Only Internet Explorer works on my computer?
Firefox worked up to about a few months ago. Whenever I try to open it, an Application Error pops up, showing, "The exception Priveleged instruction (0xc0000096) occurred in the application at location 0x10008630. Click on OK to terminate or CANCEL to debug." After pushing OK, another similar Application Error says that the memory cannot be "read". This happens even after uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. Google Chrome downloads fine, but when I try to open it, nothing happens. The hourglass appears for a brief second, but besides that, nothing. This happens even after un- and reinstalling. Opera does the same thing. So does Safari. However, IE works fine. Everything works, and there's no problem with it. I know it's not the firewall. Any ideas? Thanks.
Potropica account not working?
Ok, so on Poptropica I tried logging on to my account. It worked but I got a thing saying this: "Sorry! It appears that your game data has been lost for this session! Please try returning to our home page and logging in again. To prevent this error from happening again, try the steps below: 1) Right click in this window and select 'Settings...' 2) Go to the Local Storage Tab (Folder Icon) 3) Make sure 'Never ask again' is NOT checked and move the storage slider to 100 KB or higher 4) Click close and try logging in again on the home page" So first I tried logging on again and got the same thing again. So then I tried the other thing it said to do. I got the little box that shows up after you click "Settings.." but there's no Local storage tab on it. Just some Icons with a TV screen, Microphone, and a Camera on them, and none with a folder on it. I tried logging in again only to get the same thing, but there was one last option on the "Sorry!" page thing. It said: "***If you'd like to reset your game data and continue playing as a new character, please click on your gender on one of the boxes below." So I did and I got a completley different character (which I don't mind) along with NONE OF MY PROGRESS SAVED (which I DO mind)! I tried logging out and it wanted me to create a new acount, but I want my old account back! I had almost all of the islands done! Please help! P.S. I have a 1 year old Mac.
