Unsure Of What To Do In College Anymore .

I'm not sure what to major in anymore! How do I choose?

Most people make that decision during their Freshman year of college.I entered college thinking I would major in Physics.By the start of sophomore year I was majoring in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. One does Not have sufficient exposure to the breadth of majors and careers while in high school.  All you can determine is:In general I would like to do X and maybe Y and a little bit of Z.So, make certain that the college you attend has a good reputation in X, Y, and Z.I was Lucky that I was at MIT which is superior in both Physics and Aero-Astro Engineering.   Therefore, the only thing to make certain is that the college you attend should have Engineering as one of the majors. If it has Engineering, then it will have Everything......{Even at MIT, I could have majored in journalism or political science which were my fall back areas.....}But what great journalism school also has Engineering?

I’m not sure anymore. What should I do with my relationship?

“Having no reason to stay is a good reason to leave”

So confused! idk anymore nursing school?

Usually you can retake a class once for forgiveness. If it was one semester I am guessing it was A&P I
To be honest - If you can't get over an 80 in A&P I maybe a different major is a good idea. I am not saying you can't become a nurse or pass classes. I am just saying that you are not spending enough ttime doing the work. The classes are tough and are very time demanding, not to mention adding in clinicals and labs.

Other things that you can do are to be a LPN [13 month class through a boces]. You can work in the doctors office with that, maybe with a midwife or practitioner. That is about it and that is a stretch.

If that is what you want then dont give up and put more time into everything. You will pass. You also do not need a BSN, you can do a A.S and then a RN to BSN. Same classes, and same difficulty but faster.

2 years of sacrifice is nothing compared to fulfilling a dream. ; )

What should you do if it feels like college isn't for you but you're not sure what to do with life yet?

The worst way to figure out what to do with your life is to think about what to do with your life. That forces you to unnaturally frame the complex, messy process of living into a pithy statement, and even if this was possible or useful, how is a young person, with little experience of the world, supposed to do it intelligently? The best way to figure out what to do with your life is simply to LIVE and see what happens. But make sure that you're living with ardor. If you just dip your toe into experiences, you'll never learn from them. What I'm suggesting is that figuring out your entire life, right now, is way too big a goal. Whatever you figure our now will likely change anyway. You'll feel differently in your 30s, 40s and 50s. (I have met a few people for whom this is false. One of my best friends, growing up, wanted to be a writer from the time she was ten. She worked at it continually and now, in her mid 40s, she's a famous author. But people like her are exceptions.)So just throw yourself, body and soul, into something. If you can't think of anything you'd like to jump into, try volunteering or travel (or both). Those activities broaden most people's minds. But note the body-and-soul part. Going to Paris as a tourist doesn't count as "travel." Go someplace outside your comfort zone and live there for a couple of years, without support from your parents. Work and live there, supporting yourself in a strange place.

What happens if i drop all my college classes?

it depends. why do you want to drop them? are you failing them? or do you not like them? if you are half way through its worth it to try and salvage it probably if you are failing.

also for most schools the add/drop period is OVER and it only lasts 1week-3weeks after the semester starts and then you have a withdrawl deadline. with the drop you can usually get all your money back or a percentage of it. with the withdrawl deadline you have until that date to withdraw from a class/ or your classes. if you withdraw from all your classes, you are withdrawing from the school and will probably have to reapply and get accepted again. Whereas if you fail them, you will have them on your transcripts permanently, however they will not be on your gpa permanently if you take the same classes over again and pass them. Either way, you lose your money. I withdrew from school last year because I was failing and I didn't want them on my transcripts, because I figured I was going to lose my money anyway and I decided that I didn't want to go to that school anymore anyway and didn't care about reapplying. But if you go to a good school and you decided to stay with the possibility of failing, they will be on your transcripts but you WILL have to take them again in order for them to not impact your GPA BUT the school will probably just put you on academic probation for next semester or suspend you and you'd be able to go back without reapplying and being accepted. if you're going to community college or something i'd say withdraw, if you are going to a state school or something that was harder to get into i'd say just try your best to pass if thats the issue and even if you don't at least you'd get to stay there (oh and you get to keep your financial aid refund as long as you haven't withdrawn by the time they give them out which is usually mid semester/ after spring break IF YOU STAY and if you have financial aid/loans) otherwise if you withdraw they give the money back to the scholorships or the bank if you have a loan.

definitely check your schools academic calendar on their website and see what their drop and withdraw deadlines are, and make sure that you talk to someone at the school and verify what is EXACTLY going to happen with whatever decision you are thinking about making because all schools are a little different.

One month of high school left and Im unsure of what to do?

Im a boy that's a senior in high school on break right now, when we go back next week there will approximately a month and a half left of high school. I've had a really big crush on a girl in one of my classes for a while now, I don't know her very well, times but only really about school. I want to approach her but am unsure of how. This is because if i talk to her in school, it would literally be for like two minutes until we split to go to our next class. I have her number, but absolutely hate texting and like talking to someone face to face. I don't know what to do. Should I just talk to her in between classes for a few days and then ask her out? Should I just go up to her and ask her out saying i want to get to know her better? I really don't know anything besides that I'm running out of time, and if I don't do anything, I'll be thinking what it forever. Any advice/ help is appreciated!
