That depends on when the seller actually SHIPS it. "Overnight" applies after it is physically handed over to UPS. If they shipped it on the 15th, you should get it on the 16th. If it takes the seller three days to "process" the order, it'll be that much later (plus the weekend).

Sometimes, but it depends on if the sender requests your signature. If you have the tracking number, you can phone UPS & talk to them about delivery. They attempt 3 times before they return the package.

Okay so I was waiting for my package to deliver today, and I saw the UPS truck stop by in front of my house and saw the guy go look in the back of the truck and was getting ready to go outside to get my package, but then the UPS driver got back in the driver seat and left without leaving anything, so my question is, am I out of luck and going to have to wait til tomorrow? More info, on my tracking information it says my package is on the vehicle for delivery today. And I live in Los Angeles California the time the guy came was at about 11:45 AM Is there still a chance I'll get my package today?

You need to learn some patience. UPS drivers are some of the hardest workers I've ever seen. You calling them such names is not acceptable. If you don't like UPS, then buy locally. It will solve your problem.

Hi Jett, Last week I walked into a UPS store and was told it would cost me $18.71 to ship a one pound package from New York to Houston ($12.71 for shipping and $6 for packing). I compared that price to the UPS website and saw that it would be $9.65 (of course I would have to pack it) but it was 24% less. I then checked the box that said I would give it to my driver and re-priced the package; it was only $7.27 (13% less). Just out of curiosity, I went to UPS.com and looked up how much it would be to ship your 25 pound amp; it was $33.97 to ship it ground to CA from NYC. If you have a daily pickup with UPS, it was only $23.14--or 30% less. So if they charged me $6 for a small 1 pound package, you could easily pay $10. I think you could pay as much as $40-$50 to ship that package at the UPS Store compared to doing it yourself.
Every work day, UPS and FedEx make deliveries to your local post office for small parcels that are not efficient to deliver in their big trucks. Postage is paid for these packages, so they become mail. Larger items are the main business of these couriers, so they deliver larger packages themselves. They can't deliver to post office boxes without paying USPS postage, so they don't want to give away their main business. It is best to stick to the policy of not accepting mail to post offices because it costs more. You are paying two delivery services.
Shipping Question, (FedEx and UPS)?
I recently purchased a Dell Laptop from Dell.com, it ordered it the 23rd and they said the delivery date was the 27th, its not the 29th and im a little confused as to why they would tell me the wrong date, is it a miscalculation in there computers or what? also i ordered with it, a SWITCH red cover piece and it delivered with UPS, where as dell.com said the actual laptop is being shipped with FedEX. im so confused. Please help?

My ups tracking number says it's in location scan 3 hours away, that was at eleven this afternoon. It's now 5 and there are no new scans. The package isnt supposed to arrive until we'd. Dec 29th. Im just wondering if they are holding it there or what? Will they hold it until the estimated delivery date? If so why?
